We stayed over Thanksgiving weekend and had the best time. They hosted a Thanksgiving dinner and Saturday night had a band. The sites were spacious, easy access off of I-10 and the employees are awesome (shout out to Norma and Kenny)! The only con is there are only two washers and two dryers for 150 sites. We would definitely stay here again!

This has quickly become our favorite place to stay whenever I need to work in Baton Rouge. If your looking for big cement pads that are level to park on - this is not your place. The park is large, has spacious sites that are relatively level and most sites you park next to a cement pad with a picnic table and fire ring. On the weekends they have live bands and cook offs - a MUST GO! The folks are super friendly as well. Yep - we'll definitely be coming back!

Beautiful campground near Henderson Swamp on Atchafalaya River Hwy just passed the Atchafalaya National Heritage Area Visitors Welcome Center off of I10.Amenities: RV sites have concrete pads and full hookups.Swimming pool.Enclosed pavillion. Two playground areas with tractor tires and swings; the smaller one has a grass basketball court. The only negative is there are tons of mosquitoes, so bring a lot of repellent.

We were driving home to Central Texas on a Sunday night from working an event in Pensacola , Florida. Decided to stop in Breaux Bridge La to eat. Lots of really fine restaurants in the area. Found an rv park - in the Atchafalaya Heritage area. The Cajun Heritage Park had an opening It was after hours(late-9 pm). We called the number listed on the door for late arrivals. The owner was so good - told us exactly where to go for a quiet nights restAnd how to pay the site rental. It is a beautiful placeQuiet, lots of trees gravel roads. Just lovely. We pulled our 29 foot trailer and truck into a gorgeous pull thru site. Then my husband decided to move the trailer a bit to make hook ups easier- OOPS - pulled out to the cross street and put the left side trailer wheels in a shallow ditch It took several calls to wrecker services to find one on a Sunday night available to come pull us out. While we waited. The most charming couple (who worked at the RV park) came over, brought us cold bottles of water, and stayed with us until the wreckers came and pulled us out).THEN they stayed to guide us safely into the spot with lights on for us to hook up. Excellent service. Claire and Lanny were marvelous. Talked with us, offered many solutions for us, and helped us thru a really stressful situation. Hope to return to this beautiful place soon and spend some non- rushed time with these great folks. Cannot say enough about their kindness and help GREAT

We loved loved loved staying here!! The grounds are so big, with playgrounds and a pool! They showed us how to get to the boat ramp for the "party barge" where we got to see alligators! Then the next morning we went back again and saw a baby one real close. We only stayed one night but it's on our list to go back to! Also, super small thing but was amazing is they come and pick up your trash...I know I know super easy to do yourself, but thought it was a great touch. Ohhh...don't forget big spray because you are right on the water!

NOW CALLED Cajun Heritage RV park. Very quiet but not too far from fun if you want it. Located off of I-10 exit 121. You pass the visitor center on the way in that has a lot of brochures for food, tours, and music. The new owners are accommodating and very polite. They provide trash pickup, help parking, clean pool and laundry room. As of January 2020, they are working on their licenses for propane, but they let me know until the paperwork was done where I could get my tanks filled (exit 115) at the Exxon. Bottom line, when we come through again, we would love to stay with them!

Convenient to the highway, good roads. Office closes at 5, cash only after that. Slot was small for staying hitched, couldn't reach the sewer. WiFi was abysmal (good distribution of poor bandwidth). Oddly, not a single mosquito (wrong season?). Quiet, except for some celebrating townie yahoos parading down the levee with speaker trucks for 20 minutes. No convenient restaurants; convenience store nearby. I would come back if I had to overnight along this stretch again.

Nice quiet campground not far from I-10 exit. Level camping spots, most having a concrete slab patio. Playground, swimming pool, and a small arcade for the kids. Pool table inside office and free miniature golf. All around great campground.
