Do not come here. The clerk charged us $35 for a 12 pack of modello and $25 for a 12 pack of Coors Light. Total rip off. The clerk was a total jerk.

A good, cheap place to pick up New Orleans and Mardi Gras beads, souveniors, etc. Nice location. Close to Bourbon Street on Canal.

If you had told me that I would find cheap Northwestern apparel while in New Orleans, I would've laughed aloud. Seriously -- has anyone in New Orleans ever even heard of Northwestern? But I did find a couple NU sweatshirts here for $10 each, which was awesome because I'm pretty sure the same sweatshirts would sell for close to $50 if I bought it at NU. Cajun Country Store has absolutely no decor and the place looks like it's going out of business, even though I'm pretty sure the store owner keeps his shelves unstocked on purpose. Their selection of schools is definitely random but the prices are all cheap, whether you're buying a sweatshirt, t-shirt or cap. Worth a trip if you like bargains or if you forgot to pack something warm for your trip back to Chicago or some other place much colder than New Orleans in May.
