PUT CAFE JO JO'S AT THE TOP OF YOUR LIST! Our Valentines dinner was perfect: cocktails were delicious, appetizers and entrees were flavorful, staff were friendly. This restaurant will definitely be our new favorite restaurant in Morgan City.

Pleasantly surprised as was expecting 3 star experience like it's rated. This place is way better than that!. Everything was delicious and super reasonably priced.Seafood crepe was creamy good. Eggplant joann was flavorful and fried nicely. The shrimp surprisingly was the only thing not good in it. Had to be just a bad one. The spinach and Tasso bisque was fantastic but would have been better with actual Tasso in it. Still wasn't disappointing and drank it like it was a cocktail. The stuffed filet was great. All the sauces on all the dishes were delicious and paired well. Impressed. Had the mango colada martini. I could have drank a pitcher of that. Plus on a Friday night martinis are $6! The house Merlot was not good. Will definitely come back to try other things. All of that and I was under $100. Solid 4.5 stars for me here but did 5 to help their rating.

We always choose Cafe Jo Jo's when we travel to Morgan City. Food is always served perfectly. The service is always friendly and attentive. I also like the look of the restaurant. We have dinned in the restaurant and bar area and both are very nice. Can't wait to get back.

This my only place for spaghetti and meatballs. Omg fresh and homemade. I have been to many places who advertise homemade meatballs and have always been let down. However JoJo has the real thing.

There are non-existent dining options in MC. That said, this place is BY FAR the nicest restaurant in town.The food was good. Nothing off the charts, but good. For the price and quality, not sure if I'd go there again.

Today is our wedding anniversary, my husband has been talking about their oyster spaghetti for a couple of weeks now; soooooo I called & surprised him with a lunch date! He says I knew it!!! very happily though! I had the pan fried catfish with green beans & shrimp on top, it was super yummy and of course my husband had the oyster spaghetti; he said it was awesome, I'll take his word cuz I don't eat oysters!

Our group of four couples walked into Cafe JoJo's on Friday night at about 6:45 PM, and the restaurant had only about three occupied tables downstairs. We were seated promptly, and had the fortune to have a charming server named Chrissy, who greeted us and took drink orders. The drinks came reasonably quickly, but the martinis were definitely not anything to write home about. The beers were fine; the wine was overchilled.About 10 minutes later we received menus, then ordered. After nearly one hour, we still had not received our food (although Chrissy had checked with us 2-3 times to let us know "the kitchen is backed up because of a large party upstairs"). One of our party knew the owner/manager, went to speak to her, and was told the food was being plated. It showed up within 10 minutes, and the food was both excellent and inexpensive, but it had been over an hour from the time we had ordered until we received it. This is simply not acceptable. The owner (Jo Jo ?) never came to the table to apologize, never comped a drink nor a dessert, nor offered a discount.While we do not live in Morgan City, I'd never patronize this restaurant again based on the service we received. We don't blame Chrissy, as she was wonderful. We blame the kitchen and management/ownership. If you can't service what you sell, don't sell it.

I'm a native of MC and had heard good things about Cafe Jo Jo's. They catered an event for a us a few years ago and the food was fantastic. This was my first chance to try the restaurant. I was a little leery based on reviews - they seemed to run hot and cold. We were greeted and seated promptly. Our server Melinda was friendly and attentive the entire meal. Our tea glasses never emptied and as any southerner will tell you that's the hallmark of a good server! The food was really good - we had the Eggplant JoAnn and the white beans and fried shrimp. The shrimp were near perfection - hot, crisp and seasoned to perfection. The eggplant JoAnn could have used a little more eggplant but otherwise was fantastic. The white beans were just so so but not bad. The bread was heavenly - hot, dense, soft. A really great meal overall. Would definitely visit again!

Really good food and service. Also love the location right at the sea wall with plenty parking.We would drive an hour every Friday night to pick up food. My husband ordered spaghetti with no cheese every time. All was great for a few months then they put Parmesan on his spaghetti and unfortunately we found out after driving the whole hour home. He let it go the first two times even though he was left hungry both times. They wrap to go plates in plastic wrap so it doesn't leak everywhere, which is an awesome idea, but you can't look at the food before you leave. The third time was it and he won't go back anymore. I really miss going there every weekend!

While visiting family in Morgan City, we stopped into Cafe Jo Jo's a couple of times. Martini straight up, thank you very much. I had the oyster spaghetti. It was great. The food was better here than some places we have eaten in New Orleans.
