Cafe Coachella

After our meeting my teammate and I found this localgem. We went to their old location and had to regroup and finally made it to the new location. We walked in and the smell greeted us at the door. The aroma grabbed and pulled me to the register. My goodness. The menu changes daily. Today's menu was fried chicken (leg and thigh), or pork chop, red beans and rice with cornbread. The owner came out, chatted with us and ensured we were happy with the food. I was famished so I choose both meats. Both were AMAZING but that pork chop was something special. I kept looking at the bones telling myself don't be greedy and order another pork chop lol My eyes were bigger than my belly. I finished the pork chop, the cornbread and a piece of chicken. If you are ever in Lafayette put Cafe Coachella on your list to try.

Excellent customer service and awesome atmosphere. I will definitely return in the future.

When you walk in a restaurant and ask for a menu, and they point you to a dry erase board with the 4 options for the day, you know you're getting good food. Menu looked so good I couldn't decide between crawfish etouffee and shrimp stew, so the cashier recommended half and half! SCORE! The food was better than I hoped. Definitely tasted like grandma cooked me lunch.

Great lunches! Yelp says I'm 71 characters away from making this post, so I'll way once again say they serve great lunches. They season they food, good serving size. Gonna pay double of Breaux's mart.

4/25/21-Food was delish. Staff was courteous. Country style ribs in a gravy was fantastic! We will be back.

Wow, first time visiting this eatery for a Sunday afternoon plate lunch and with some many local places to choose from I found another go to restaurant with great food and service. I ordered the turkey roll with the combo rice dressing and cornbread dressing along with the potato salad and green bean casserole and another barbecue sausage plate with the Mac and cheese and yams. Ok, the turkey roll was well seasoned and moist as well as my sides were very flavorful and taste great. The drive through and inside lines were long but both moved particularly well and fast (A+) and they take phone orders. I was extremely impressed with not only the food but their service to move customers in and out under COVID-19 conditions. All employees were wearing masks and gloves to protect themselves and customers. If you're looking for great food and service, make sure you give this place a try. Glad to see another great Northside business providing exceptional and excellent quality food and service in our community.
