"I found this shop by accident last year....beautiful designs, fabrics and jewelry at more than fair prices for such unique designs. I finally purchased a bad and a choker necklace. I am not much of a shopper - so I'm always aware I won't exactly be anyones best customer- but, they treated me like I was. They are warm and welcoming. I am looking forward to adding to a collection of really stunning clothing and jewelry as I can. This really is a special shop."
"I was wandering along this section of Magazine Street and I realized that I had never wandered into this women's clothing store. PLUS I saw beaucoup customers coming out of it with shopping bags and smiles.Turns out it's their end of season sale! So I tried on a variety of pieces and I was successful too! The staff person was really sweet but busy as she was the only one working. This shop has definitely been in this location for a bit so I was surprised it wasn't already listed in Yelp. The sizes do tend to run a bit small but that's sort of the norm in these small boutiques."
"Let me just say that every time I walk into Saint Claude Social Club, I feel so hip and trendy and cool. Like Sara Jessica Parker entered my body and I'm now a cooler more fashionable SHERO. That's seriously how you feel when you walk in. The decor of the store honestly makes you want to sit around and talk about the importance of social justice with well-dressed women. There was a time I actually sat in their cool chairs drinking champagne talking to ladies. It's so pretty in there, dawned with beautiful artwork of my favorites are portraits of women. Clothing and accessories all strategically place and almost look like artwork. The ACCESSORIES.... So many greatly crafted pieces in the store. Especially their bracelet collection. If you are looking for staple accessory pieces this is definitely the location for you. One of my favorite things is actually a pendant which is a naked lady frolicking. Lots of eclectic pieces you will find as well. There are also some great unique clothing options. Dresses and skirts are very cool and sassy.Definitely go in and check out this store when you get a chance."
"This shop has some interesting clothing, notably some very well designed retro dresses and men's suit jackets in different and unusual fabrics that I hadn't seen in a long while. If you're looking to stand out in a men's suit or a woman's dress this is a great place to find something unique. They also had wooden and leather bow ties and an interesting selection of feather ties.Stop in if you have time...You'll probably find something you like."
"I never shopped at a boutique before, so I wanted to treat myself. Well let's just say 90% of my closet are clothing from SjNola. The owner and staff are wonderful people. I'm also happy to stay, I get asked to model clothes and I'm on her website as well. This is the best place to shop in LaPlace. Go and take a look and I bet you want be able to stay away like me. I love this place, I'm hooked."
"My fave 'go to' boutique for classy, bourgie, ratchet! Well, maybe not ratchet lol. The owner Farrah is super kind. She knows her clients and has fun business initiatives. I also like her shoes, belts and jewelry."
"This is an adorable new shop in one of those little squares on Metairie Rd. I was great as soon as I walked in and, although the shop is small, there's a lot packed in here. There's an assorted number of cute gifts and accessories and everything is fairly priced. I got a top that will be perfect for Spring and I loved their selection of jewelry and hand bags. This is a great place to check out if you're shopping for yourself or looking for a nice gift."
"I love this store! Really stylish and trendy clothing and a friendly staff, what more could you ask for?I was greeted with a friendly "hello" as soon as I walked in the store and I began looking over their merchandise. I love the big windows that let natural light into the store and the layout is perfect for easy shopping. For me, the star of the store was all of the accessories. They had a great selection of necklaces, bracelets and sunglasses and candles that smell amazing. I snagged a cute necklace for myself with ease. The clothing is really nice, high quality and enough to make you fit in at any party. I want to go on a shopping spree here soon. This shop is worth the stop!"
"I went to this establishment a couple of weeks looking for some shades that a friend had on. It was too much going on. And the owner was all over the place. I also picked up some earrings and lost one cause the backs were too big for them. They kept slipping off until eventually I finally lost them. Definitely won't recommend this business. It was a waste of a ride to the westbank"
"Since I'm not generally in this store's demographic, the staff mostly just ignores me. But that's OK with me. I'm usually in this shop to peruse the accessories and selection of local tshirts.I haven't shopped for actual jeans here in years since that didn't go well the last time I tried. On the other hand, they do have lots of the jean brands that folks in the know want to buy. (I mostly just want jeans that actually fit and aren't overly embellished.) So for a large selection of styles take a gander. And maybe you'll hit the jackpot of style and fit."
"I was on my way to lunch and came across this shop. The window displays were colorful and beautifully laid out so I popped in. They have a little bit of everything. Clothing, accessories (shoes and bags), and home decor, candles, soaps, and lotions. I saw several things I wanted to get or at least try on. I ended up getting this floral body wash but I may go back to check out some unique slippers. All the staff I interacted with were quite welcoming and told me to let them know if I had any questions or needed anything. It's pricier, on par with like an Anthropologie if you've shopped there before. Worth visiting and popping in if you're in the area."
"My absolute favorite clothing/accessory store in Seattle http://www.yelp.com/biz/diva-dollz-seattle#hrid:y7274nP98IktmyF1LUhg3w has now opened in New Orleans! I'm rather beside myself with excitement over this so you'll have to let me have a moment...*fans self* Recovered. After all, I have to get back to my FTR!Oh, the shoes.Oh, the super cute, flattering dresses.Oh, the lovely lingerie.Oh, the lush, baroque decor that makes you feel like you're shopping in Paris. Oh oh oh oh!!!! But there's more. Walk in clueless or even thinking you have an ounce of fashion know-how and these ladies will set you straight (in an ultra kind way). They will make you look hotter than you could have ever imagined. I witnessed them turning one Miss Emily A in a divalicious pin-up girl from H to T. She picked the dress. They did everything else: shoes, hair, a touch of blush to the cheeks. Seriously, you'd think you were at some ultra high end shop that would be kicking Pretty Woman out the door, but it's not the case. Figure on price points ranging around 120-150 bucks for a really pretty dress (they have casual to dressy). Accessories are at very affordable price points (I purchased gorgeous red gloves and a studded belt for a total of 60 bucks). Shoes are of good quality and will run you around 150 (note: they have the kind of heels that are so comfy you'd never know you were wearing heels). They will alter any dress to flatter your figure, ladies. That's kinda priceless, especially in a town where it's not the easiest thing in the world to find a good tailor. Just sayin'. I'll be updating this review on the regular. Look out for the attached lingerie shop that is going to open soon. I know I will be perusing it on the regular."

What a pleasant experience it was shopping here. The manager Bentley was extremely knowledgeable and professional. Service was prompt and truly helpful. I got my first pair of cowboy boots and I LOVE them! Seriously she was amazing.

Great mix of new and vintage, unique designers and candles and fragrances. Loved the gift cards as well. I loved the vibe and it feels distinctly New Orleans

Such a cute boutique! I came here looking for a gift for my sister in law, but left with clothes for myself- oops! I thought they had an amazing selection of really cool vintage finds, and classy and cute clothes. The vintage items were so awesome, and I will definitely be back for some of those. They had a great selection of items at all different price points and I got the most gorgeous velvet floor length dress for $45! They also had accessories, cute fashion things an adorable baby/child section, and some empowering mugs that I almost bought for every woman I know. The store was laid out so cute and felt lush and swanky but overall was very affordable and well priced. The girls working were so attentive taking items to start a fitting room for me and suggesting great gift ideas for my sister in law that I was supposed to be shopping for. My shopping experience here was great and you should definitely go check them out.

This is a great little boutique located in a horseshoe shaped strip mall on Metairie Road. There's lots of available parking and it's easy to get to.They carry precious accessories and lovely clothes. I saw lots of casual dresses and tops, along with whatever you'd need to complete an outfit. Everything was very trendy and the quality of the merchandise was good. It's definitely worth a look-see if you're in the area.

"The Mr was looking for some nice Panama Shirts & there were lots of fun colors in the windows of California Drawstrings that beckoned us inside....There were fancier shirts & more casual shirts - all in the same "Panama-style" we were looking for & we ended up getting 2 of the more casual solid colored & 1 fancy striped linen number that were so comfy & cool. Also saw a bunch of shorts, pants, jackets & hats.....they have it all! You'll find ladies' wares on the right-side of the shop & men's on the leftThe staff was outrageously nice & we had a great time chatting about their upcoming trip to San Francisco - hope yall love it!!Totally impressed & we'll be back for sure next time we're down South!"
"Cute store. There are a wide selection of sizes, though the larger the size, the longer the pants, which is unhelpful to short people who need a larger size. Friendly employees. Prices are a bit high, but the quality is good."
"This shop is on regular rotation for just about all my fancy costume needs and I'm glad it's conveniently located on Decatur in the French Quarter. What I especially appreciate is how helpful the employees are. The other day I was looking for the ladies version of my husband's elaborate jacket that gets him compliments whenever he wears it on parade day or Mardi Gras itself. Although there wasn't a ladies version, I was helped out to find a long button-up vest that was the perfect match. I'm still thinking on it but will likely go back and purchase it. Items here are of better quality than other similar shops, so this of course commands a higher price. It's not just costumes though. Looking for goth/steampunk/new romantic/rockabilly styles? They've totally got you here. The shoe collection is also impressive. While the front of the store appears small, it goes back pretty deep and I have no doubt you'll find whatever your dark little heart desires here."
"I've been getting my streetwear fix on trips to visit the fam in Los Angeles and via Internet shopping. No more! We originally visited the Baton Rouge location, as it is the only one listed as an official The Hundreeds stockist, and were informed while shopping that the original store location was in New Orleans. So when we came home, we visited as well. Because you know. That makes sense and all.Located on N. Peters right across from Canal Place and next to Coyote Ugly, re:fresh is the kind of store that seems right at home on Fairfax Avenue in the Melrose district, passed by by tourists and sought out by skater/streetwear kids looking to get their hands on a limited selection of The Hundreds, Billionaire Boys Club, Bathing Ape (!!!!), and Dee & Ricky (who made a recent appearance leaving behind a rare selection of their coveted Lego goods). I think we even spotxed some Mighty Healthy in there?? Great selection of sneakers, carefully culled, and not just Nikes. Excellent customer service by an extremely friendly and helpful staff, ready to chat up labels, prices, and grab a size before you even ask. They host events in the space, apparently, and co-host others elsewhere, most recently of interest, the official Drake Jazzfest after party. Prices are exceedingly reasonable, although you should not be expecting single digit deals. Supporting small independent labels and small stores has its price: high. However, in one day, over two locations, we bought 3 tees, a button-up, and a pair of shoes, all at discounted prices, and coming out to less than $150. I look forward to coming back and checking out what lines take the place of the current table of discounted winterwear!"
"What a fun store to check out while in the Garden District. They have so much cute trinkets to buy, especially if you're looking for Mardi Gras related trinkets! The upstairs was really cool and bizarre. You just have to see it for yourself LOL.My friend was left upstairs and did notice some things randomly drop, it tripped her out and she ran back downstairs. The staff did confirm that they have noticed some paranormal activity there, but nothing bad! Just a friendly ghost :) One other bizaare thing is that they've got a taxidermy deer merry go round that you can pay $5 for to ride it."
"I found the Royal Boutique completely by accident but I am so glad that I did. This tiny shop doesn't really have a sign but it is immediately next door to Bourbon French Parfums. If you are facing the perfume shop front door, this boutique is just to the left side. A pink scarf with hand crocheted edging caught my eye so I went in. This tiny shop is just crammed with things to the point you wonder, how can anyone find anything in here? But here is my advice, strike up a conversation with the lady owner and point out something you like. All of a sudden, she will magically help you find some other things that are exactly right for your complexion and style. Unique things that you never knew you needed. The owner of this tiny shop does alterations on the spot for all the fancy high end hotel shops around the French Quarter. Dress too long? Run it to her for a fast hemming job and then it's perfect. Need your pants tailored? Pop in and she can probably have it done the same day or at least by the next day. She also makes custom long sleeve shrugs. They're so cool I bought three of them. One for me, and two for unique gifts. Mine is a sheer fabric, long sleeves over your arms, but the part that goes behind the shoulders is embroidered with fancy peacocks and their feathers sort of float down your shoulders. Elegant, unique, and it won't break the bank. Shrugs are $45 and she will custom make one in your desired colors and pattern if you're willing to wait and have it shipped. This shop also carries scarfs from India with fancy beading or crochet or embroidery. Scarves run around 30 dollars because of all the workmanship on them. Have you ever wanted a fully bead- encrusted sparkly brassiere, the kind the girls who do belly dancing wear? She has those! Did you ever want some rhinestoned out custom top with bling in ornate designs? The more conservative belly dancer look, if you'll pardon my lack of better description. She can make you that too. Or maybe you needed some earrings with Middle Eastern flair? She has lots of those as well. This tiny shop packs a big punch. Most people don't even know it is there. Stop in and get yourself something unique for your wardrobe. Everyone will want to know where you got it. You'll be happy to have such a remarkable, wearable souvenir of your trip to NOLA. and yes, she takes debit and credit. Seriously, if you have a winter event that involves a strapless dress, go get yourself a shrug to stay warm with flair. Nothing pulls down an outfit faster than a ratty, everyday coat over an evening dress."
"I stopped in twice to the Bourbon Street Harley-Davidson and made purchases both times. It's a small dingy store but I love how they display their shirts front and back. You don't have to pull every shirt that you think you may like out to examine it. Once you find the shirt that you like you just open the case to grab your size. Everything stays nice and neat. The inventory for women and children was sorely lacking but I did find what I was looking for. I would have purchased more if it was available especially in the kids area. The staff was friendly and were quick to make suggestions. They engage with their customers making the shopping experience more personal."
"For the first time ever, Fleurty Girl let me down. Something about this store changed and while some people may find it better, this guy did not.So first, lets try and figure out the answer to the question you're bound to ask. Why is a dude named John in a store with the word girl? Look, it's 2019 you judgmental randos. But really, FG used to be a great place to get small gifts. It was always my go-to at Christmas to get stocking stuffers and small LA themed items. So this past Christmas I was on my way down Causeway Blvd when I decided this would be the place to stop to get something for my kids.Going shopping in Metaire during the Christmas season was probably my first mistake. Parking was limited and the store was packed with people. Everyone who knows me knows I am very patient and love crowds so that didn't bother me in the least (sarcasm font in case you didn't get it).Despite the crowds I knew I needed some stuff for juveniles so I perused the store. I couldn't find anything. It wasn't because there was a lack of stuff, the store was filled with stuff. It just seems that there has been a shift towards more expensive items. Again, maybe it was just the time of year, but I had hoped to find some cheap necklaces or costume jewelry pieces and couldn't find anything that fit what I wanted. One bad experience doesn't really sour me on the chain as a whole. My other experiences here have been great. Will I be back? I am sure I will since it is right on my route to and from work. Lets hope the next time I can find the items I want."
"I went into today to shop for a couple of Christmas gifts. The store and overall shopping experience exceeded my expectations! The shop is spacious and beautifully designed. The associates were friendly and very helpful. They gave a great selection of unique, great quality clothes for men women and children. I will definitely be back!"
"Just wanted to write a review about the amazing employees at Bella Bella on metairie road. Not only are they extremely helpful everytime I've been there, but they are also very honest and trustworthy people. I recently left my wedding rings there accidentally when I was trying on a blouse in the dressing room and they held onto them for me during the Mardi Gras break and I was able to pick them up from them right when they opened after Mardi Gras. I know that I may not have been this fortunate had this happened somewhere else, so I am extremely grateful for these hardworking, honest people!!"
"The curation of items and clothing in the store is very well done. There are unique pieces, albeit pricey, complemented by everyday simple but chic items. I got distracted by a very cute Alpaca stuffed animal that I wish I could take home. Unfortunately, there would have been no room in my suitcase for it. Still, it's a worth a visit to get ideas for your next purchase or, if you have the money, splurge and treat yo self!"
"I come to Trendz whenever I need cute jewelry! They have the trendiest, most fashionable and gorgeous earrings and accessories. They also have a few clothing items but not enough to make it a boutique. There's something for every occasion and can cater to anyone's style! 4.5/5 stars because my initial visit was not very ideal. However, I'm glad I gave them another try!"
"Good service. Fair prices and some hidden gems. Very fun store to shop for cool vintage items."
"I dig this hip little store on Magazine. I noticed their tshirts and stickers before I even knew who or what they meant. Reminiscent to that of Shepard Fairey and his own Obey symbol. I like that. One of a kind items. I've picked up groovy tees for friends, stickers to trade across the globe, postcards with witty sayings stuck around my abode and a super cool Brent Pafford ceramic pitcher. It's not a big box glossy store, so you'll have to seek it out. It can be easy to miss. I've got it down now, but the first time I drove around it a few times. Go. Seek. Look. and if you feel the urge....pick up a little something."
"Of the stores in this stretch of Magazine, I'd say this place is on the medium pricey side. But the quality of the clothes reflects that. The selection is good and reflects a range of styles rather than just one type of look. When I was there last weekend, they were having an excellent sale with many of their winter shoes clearanced at $50 per pair. And with racks of clothing divided by price. I tried on a handful of dresses that ranged in price from $250 to $75. And score! My favorite was a half priced item. The sales people were OK. but clearly it would pay to be a regular here. The accessories did look interesting but I was trying to keep the spending to a minimum so I didn't browse. Definitely worth a perusal when you're looking for something new."
"This is a really nice store in the Quarter, that actually reminded me a little of Trashy Diva. They have long and short fashion dresses as well as nice boutique items. I would say that a lot of the stuff here is perfect for a night out on the town or just any day when you feel like dressing up and feeling pretty. They also carry fashionable lingerie and shoes."
"Aaah! Another cute new boutique on Magazine St! And it JUST opened! I happened to just stumble into this place because I had never seen it before and then I realized that today was their opening day.Lucy Rose has a lot of cute clothes for all body types. I think I would call them "happy" clothes: a lot of skirts, dresses and tops in a lot of bright colors. I was only able to quickly stop in here today, but I will definitely be back. Lucy Rose will definitely make a nice addition to Magazine St."
"I've visited this beauty supply store a handful of times over the years. How you're treated depends on the day. So I decided it was time to provide their first review. Pros: -Every hair product you can think of. -Inexpensive shoes -Clothing -Accessories - Fairly reasonable pricing - convenient location Cons: - Practices ((1)overcharged for an item more than once, (2) add'l charge if item less than $5 and using a card) - Service - Store is cramped. Items on the floor at the register and everywhere in between. When I pointed out I was overcharged by .50 on today's visit. A gentleman who was stocking approached and said it was an accident. I said it was okay. There was a line of 2-3 people behind me, so he instructed me to step to the side so he could take care of them first before addressing my concern. When I pushed back, he begrudgingly handled it. What happened next was in poor taste and dishonest. He said "I'm giving you an extra five cents for the mistake". I didn't respond but when I counted, it was $.55 which was the amount owed because a 10% sales tax was applied. However, he accomplished his goal - sarcasm and to suggest he did something for me after I informed them I was overcharged. It is experiences like these that leave me wondering if others are mistakenly charged in small increments who might not catch it. It's a cautionary tale to always review your receipt before you leave the store."
"It was our last day in NOLA and I still needed a few gifts for friends, I'm so glad we entered this cute lil store! They have something for everyone, stickers, shirts, socks, soaps.... I even found the most perfect lil gator ornament for my Xmas tree!! The store is very clean and organized, customer service was great and we were in and out very quickly. I will definitely stop by again on our next trip!"
"Beautiful clothes, and a super friendly and helpful staff. This boutique is chock full of dresses for whatever occasion is coming your way. You can complete whatever you've decided on with their selection of accessories. This place is as pretty inside as the clothing on their racks. It's easy to get to - right smack dab on the main drag in Lakeview (Harrison), and they have their own lot in back.Next time you have an event, or even if you don't, it's worth a stop to check it out. Seriously gorgeous stuff."
"Gimme Gimme Gimme (A Man After Midnight) jk.This fun and one-of-a-kind shop in the quarter is fun for locals and tourists alike. It really is like stepping inside a fun acid trip. This shop screams Mardi Gras and every other fun holiday and parade the city holds. You have to spend a little bit of time here. My friends and I found so many fun knick knacks and I walked away with a few goodies. They have a fun photo op which is similar to a life-sized barbie box. All in all, a must stop shop!"
"I happened onto the soft opening of the newest Dirty Coast location. It's small and cute and offers homewares as well as shirts. The high ceilings make it really airy.Staff was great and helpful. And since it was the soft opening, they were offering free drinks and snacks so bonus!Another cool location to buy NOLA stuff."
"I wanted to like this store so much because I thought it was so cute outside and I love these cute little hidden boutiques but I remember on that particular day I had quite a substantial amount of cash on me and was ready to spend and I had been to maybe three or four places before I hit the big mall where I could find designer clothing and purses I noticed that a lot of the things in this particular store were overpriced and they had the same thing I was looking at for half the price at another place I thought about going back for it after I had been inside the store I kind of just stopped looked around and walked out I may have bought one thing in this store But I definitely didn't drop hundreds of dollars in here no wayI don't like paying over price for cheap fashion jewelry I don't care what your rent costs"
