"Food was off the chain, my cocktail was good too. Bar keep was very nice and led me to the right thing on the menu, I love a good duck so I had the duck soup dish, a duck ramen I believe. Everyone was nice even the other people at the bar, we had shots with them all. The atmosphere was nice and clean as well, I highly recommend this spot if you're looking for good Thai."
"Thai Hay NOLA is incredible! The combination of Thai and Creole flavors is so unique, and everything we ordered was incredible. We started with Thai iced tea, and I got mine with salted coconut cream, which was amazing--the creaminess balanced the tea perfectly. Even the water infused with pandan leaves was a nice touch, adding a subtle, refreshing flavor. For appetizers, we had the fried tofu and fried lotus root, and while we paid extra for the peanut sauce, it was totally worth it. For entrees, we got the short rib khao soi and the catfish red curry with pumpkin--both were bursting with flavor and cooked to perfection. The service was fantastic--Misty and Mae were so warm and welcoming. The restaurant has such a great vibe, perfect for both a casual night out with friends or a date night. Just a heads-up: reservations are a good idea since the space is limited.10/10 experience--I'll definitely be back!"

"Sukho serves up solid but unspectacular Thai, with very good service and a fun ambiance. The food is decent and comes at accessible prices. Cozy up to the bar if there's a game playing!"
"This place is very cute!! The staff were friendly and we were seated fast. I really enjoyed the food and i wished I would have remembered to take pictures. Everything was so good and I was too hungry to stop myself lol. I can't wait to go back and its always a plus that its next to lakeside mall. Great lunch or dinner place after shopping."
"I like you, Pomelo. But do i like you, like you? It's not like that. Sorry. We should just be friends. Let's not complicate things. Friday, you ask? Sorry... I'm busy. Saturday too. Maybe I can make Wednesday work. Let's talk about it Tuesday. I know you have limited tables... don't wait for me. Yes, keep some of that green curry warm just in case."
"Love this place. Great atmosphere, service, prices, and food! I always get the Szechwan Hot Wok. So good. Only thing I can suggest for improvement is that they don't give you enough rice. I always have to order more, so that adds $3 to the cost of the entree."
"This is the same Singha restaurant that was a staple in the CBD since 1999. When they closed up, I was saddened. Then IMMEDIATELY OVERJOYED when I saw they opened up not 10 minutes from my house. The food is extremely good, but I am biased because I used to eat at their old location regularly. The interior is okay, not as good as their old location. However, I'm not there for the environment. I am there for the delicious food."
"We tried Thai Kitchen for the first time last night, and we really enjoyed it! We each started with a summer roll, and it was nicely done with fresh veggies. My wife had the peanut chicken dish, and I had the shrimp cashew nut dinner. We enjoyed our respective dishes, which were properly seasoned and full of fresh veggies. Service was prompt and police, and the ambiance was delightfully local. We'll be back!"
"The hubby & I visited for date nite last weekend and I was pleasantly surprised. The place is not too small but not large. They could stand to dim the lights a bit to create a more chill, slightly romantic vibe but it's a cute spot. Everyone was friendly & attentive without being bothersome. Now, the food... DELICIOUS The Drunken Noodles were excellent. My husband isn't a fan of Asian food but he, too, enjoyed his food. Those little donuts are perfect little fluffy pillows of yumminess. Being that they are basically beignets, more powdered sugar is in order and, for me, cookies & creme is a strange choice for ice cream flavors. We will definitely be returning soon to try more things."
"Got us a little to-go order after a long week of snow (yes, snow in south Louisiana, y'all know it's true) and ice. Tom Kha soups all around for me and the Petunia.Totally yum - coconut milk, lemongrass, all the good things and shrimp! I can't wait for my next bowl, really. The folks here are friendly and smiling, even though we took our food to go, and really bolstered my mood in this weather...thanks!"
"I absolutely love Taste of Thailand. Until recently, I've only ordered take out. But the dine-in experience is great. This is my favorite vegetarian option in the area. I find the spice levels vary, but the flavor is always on point. Highly recommend the Chang Mai noodles. And the veggie gyoza! So good. No complaints."

Slim pickin's for good Thai food that delivers, I get that. SukhoThai was one of the better ones, but my latest orders haven't been great, and my last order compelled me to review. In the most recent order, we asked for Drunken Noodles and Pad Kee Mao. Veggies were overcooked, there was not a single basil leaf in sight, and noodles were pure mush, not a single noodle in tact. Sweet soy sauce mush was what we received. In past orders, we received Eggplant Lover with barely any eggplant, sticky rice mango with undercooked rice and no condensed milk, dry meat with fried rice...just to name a few grievances. I don't expect to love every dish from any establishment, so I gave those a pass. I've ordered from here a lot through the years, and we had some decent dishes. After this last order, I give up.

One of finest Thai restaurants I have ever visited. This is such a gem in the French quarters. I tried the fried okra and slow braised beef with ramen. Both were outstanding. The pistachio cheesecake was amazing too.

A great restaurant and in my opinion, better than the Marigny location. It's in a cute spot and looks very fancy, even though it's affordable and delicious. Food was marginally better and this spot felt like a fancy restaurant with a full bar and attentive server. Definitely recommend a visit here if out of town. It's worth a detour, especially paired with a post dinner walk on magazine st.The Panang curry itself was delicious and creamy. I ordered a 3/5 spice level and it was noticeable that there was spice, but didn't cause me any pain or take away from the dining experience at all. Portions could have been bigger though, more rice would have been nice.

I had dinner with three friends here to catch up. We were happy that I chose Cafe Equator. The parking lot is surprisingly small. However, I found a few street parking spots nearby. Their menu offers a variety of choices. For most entrees, you can choose a type of protein from chicken, tofu, or beef. They also mark the level of spiciness for each dish - light, medium, or very. I had Thai basil with chicken as my protein choice. It didn't disappoint. The ingredients were fresh. The entire dish tasted a bit sweet, which I liked. I will come back to Cafe Equator. I'm excited to try one of their authentic street food versions.

This adorable tiny place has absolutely incredible food. The feeling I got when ordering was that being picky about ingredients wouldn't be a great idea, so I wasn't. I got the veggie glass noodles, and the flavors were magnificent. It was actually easier to enjoy the spice level because of how well it was complimented by all of the other flavors. My Thai iced tea was great, and the Cheesecake was just incredible. Highly recommend.

While visiting NOLA this past week, we ended up eating here twice. It was really good. I had the honey walnut shrimp the first time then the coconut soup the second time. My only complaint was the coconut soup was a little too watery for me. Otherwise, it was good.

I don't have pictures this time around but I ordered the shrimp fried rice and egg rolls and oh my goodness were they good!! One of the best shrimp fried rices I've had in a while! I ordered to-go order through Yelp which was just convenient for me, but it is cheaper to use their restaurants own ordering site (although you have to make an account with them, which ultimately is why I chose to pay the $4 extra since I already clearly have a Yelp account). The owner of the restaurant actually greeted us and told us we could save more using their online services as well which is always nice to hear when trying to save money. Overall, even though I didn't come here to eat, the customer service was great, being greeted almost immediately and we were quickly given our order. Will definitely be here again for the exact same order but also wanting to try more off their menu!

"This is one of my favorite Thai restaurants! The place is small and cute. The service is always fast and the workers are nice. We ordered the calamari, claims, the whole fried fish, and orange chicken. Let me say that fish was cooked perfect and the sauce they pour on it was amazing. The claims were the best I ever had. This place has quickly became my go to for Thai. Just go you wont be disappointed."
"We ordered the Pad Thai, Thai Fried Rice, and Green Curry. Everything was really good- much better than Sukhothai. The woman who served us was very friendly and kind, she also grows some of the ingredients used in the food in her own garden- and you can tell how fresh the chilis are. We were there at around 8:30pm on a Friday night and our food came out fast. This place is right across the street from La Madeleine, next to Cooter Brown's. Highly recommend, looking forward to coming again"
"Starting to love this place more and more. Can't live without their Chicken Wraps!! The service is great and the staff is always SO friendly!!"
"This restaurant is takeout only. There are tables and chairs stacked up along the walls, so perhaps this was a change that came about from covid. A few weeks ago I had a random craving for Pad Thai. I found Thai Chili and suggested it for lunch one day at work. The food was excellent. I have craved it ever since and actually ordered it both yesterday and today and I could still eat a bucket of their Pad Thai. The crab wontons and egg rolls are also pretty good.Yesterday I was half an hour late to pick up our orders, but they keep the boxes covered waiting for pick up, so the food was still hot by the time I got it back to work! Highly recommend. It shares a parking lot with City Cafe. Easy to find and lots of parking even at lunch hour."
"Great place to grab Thai food on a Saturday night with friends.Started with an order of spring rolls and roti. Love the red curry sauce that accompanies the roti. Perfect for dipping. Our table ordered a variety of soups and curries. Favorites included the Tom Ka Gai soup. Chicken and coconut milk broth with Thai herbs. So warm and comforting. The red curry can be ordered with tofu, chicken, beef, shrimp or a combo of chicken and shrimp. The red curry sauce, combined with coconut milk, bamboo shoots, carrots, bell peppers, and basil is so delicious. The Khao Soi was so rich. Is it a soup or is it a curry? The coconut curry broth soup is filled with so much flavor. The rich soup comes with sliced chicken, a chicken drumstick, crispy and soft egg noodles, fried onions, mustard greens, and Thai herbs. Love the crunch of the dried noodles mixed with the broth. So unique and so yummy.Add a Thai iced tea. So refreshing. The owner came to check on us multiple times. My friends know him, but they say he also checks on patrons that he doesn't know frequently. A really nice place to have dinner with family or friends."
"Amazing food. Great flavors and wonderful execution. Portion sizes are better than one may expect. Really friendly staff and management. Good catch!"
"Got there just before 7. Ordered two orders of wantons.. this were the best have ever had. Could taste the filling.. the sauce was fantastic. My grandson ate at least 5 of them. He doesn't eat anything. I got the Golden Duck -- with sauce on the side level 3. This was fantastic. WOW! I had the best dish as per my DiL, and she tasted everything. My wife's pork fried rice was top class, I got a good bit of that as well.I wish I had taken pictures, but I was too hungry and just ate.Go here. GO HERE NOW!!"
"If I have the story right, there were two guys, partners in every sense of the word, that had a thai restaurant across the street from this location. Apparently, they had an argument and decided to separate. So, this guy decided to open a thai restaurant of his own...across the hwy. :) Looks like his menu was the best since he's still here and the original thai place now sells seafood dishes and a not-bad eggplant parm.Anyway, the food here is excellent even if the atmosphere was a little too commercial for my tastes. Petunia usually gets the Pad Thai, white girl spicy, while I almost always get the Panang Curry, extra spicy. I used to bet the chefs $20 they couldn't burn my mouth, but I felt guilty taking their money, ha ha ha! Just kidding, but I do like my curry excruciatingly hot.Again, excellent food here, make sure to try the Tom Kha while you're here, it's hard to beat that flavor combination for putting a smile on an epicurean's face."
"A very good variety on the buffet table and all was freshly prepared. Can't say much about the service since a buffet and you for the most part serve yourself. We had to ask for drink refills instead of being offered. Typical strip mall location with ok ambiance."
"Thai D Jing was delicious! The flavors were so fresh and delicious -- plus, you can add any protein to any dish. I went with a larger party, so the only downside is that not everyone's food came out at the same time, and we had to wait a little while to eat."
"I always feel bad when I have to write a review like this... but I really wasn't impressed with my lunch today. This place had a pretty high star rating, so I was expecting alot- but the food, nor the restaurant itself- met my expectations.I ordered the Tempura Shrimp/Vegetable Bento Box...Best: Shrimp Tempura, crispy and light. Dumplings- the meat inside had a good savory flavor.Worst: The Tempura veggies... mushy and didn't taste fresh. The salads ginger dressing was bland. The sushi was just ok. I only ate one piece. And the bowl of sauce on the side had a flavor that I did not desire. I wish the sauce that was on the Dumplings, was the one in that bowl! The restaurant itself needs some improvements. All the booths were well worn and thats putting it nicely. A plus is that the waitress was nice and came over several times to check on me!"
"Love August Moon. Love the lady that takes the phone orders. Love the delivery guy. My department orders from August Moon once a month and we call to make an order at 10:45am. We get our food by 11:45.Food is always fresh, no complaints. Our go to is lunch special general tso chicken, sweet n sour chicken, lemon grass chicken and boneless chicken. Their grilled pork vermicelli and lemon grass shrimp substitute fried rice for vermicelli are also delicious! We like the different substitutions if you didn't want the eggroll. Definitely recommend"
"This is the best Thai I have had in some time. I have eaten mostly Vietnamese for the last several years after getting some disappointing Thai. The Charm Thai Bistro made me very happy and a fan again when I dug into my to-go order of Massaman chicken curry. My partner got the special fried rice with pineapple and he was happy as well, My curry had a great flavor. It is not a sweet curry and I know often people expect a curry to be sweet and this one is not overly sweet. The only mistake was I ordered it mild. I wasn't sure of the heat level here since it was my first time ordering. This is white people mild and I say that as a white person. There is zero heat and spice at mild. I will order medium next time. I don't usually like the highest levels of heat because I prefer to taste my food, but I will definitely go to the medium here since I love some spicy flavor and a little kick. Otherwise, yummy! Really good flavor even at mild and huge pieces of white meat chicken, potatoes, and veggies. Fresh ingredients! Whole peanuts! It was delicious and I can't imagine how yummy it will be with a bit more flavor and heat! The special fried rice was equally delicious with fantastic ingredients. There were raisins!!! Oh, there's nothing like the taste of a caramelized raisin in a savory dish and then the sweet/sour pop of the pineapple with a mix of proteins. Mmmm... really yummy too, in case you can't tell, I tasted it. It's the price I would expect to pay for these dishes. It's not an inexpensive meal out but not overpriced for the food you get either. I don't mind paying around $20 a person (with fees, tax, tip) for quality food. There is a small convenience fee when you order online for pickup. I don't like paying a convenience fee but it is convenient and easy to order. When we arrived to pick up, our order was ready and hot. It's located in a nice, newer shopping strip on HWY 21 in Covington. The strip still has a lot of open spaces but it has this excellent restaurant and Albasha (Also delicious!) in it, so you can't go wrong! The restaurant is small with maybe 8-10 tables and a few seats up at the bar. It was clean with a modern look. Very pleasant. My limited interaction with the employee since I had ordered and payed online was also quite pleasant. We will definitely be back! I can't wait to try some of the other dishes, although, it's going to be really tough not to order these two dishes again since they were so scrumptious!"
"I went on the weekend and order off the menu. It was good. The food was fresh and well prepared. The owner was working the place and we talked a good bit. Found out a lot of the food on the menu comes from Thailand. Went back a couple of days later and tried the buffet. It was ok. And had a great selection of food. I'm just not a big fan of buffets"
"We didn't know that they were closing 30mins after we got there, and they made sure our service and quick and good. They didn't rush us or let us know they were closing soon, I really appreciate that.Food was good, tasty. Some dishes weren't made traditionally the way most Thai restaurants does it, but it doesn't mean it wasn't good. We enjoyed the 4 dishes that we got. I'd be back."
"Truly enjoyed this new Thai spot inside Brewsky's bar. The owners are really friendly and the owner was the one who cooked our food. Delicious food. Suprisingly good variety of Thai dishes. You order on kiosk and then they will bring food to your table. We loved everything we ordered. This will be one of my regular spots now!"
