"I met some friends for dinner here Sunday afternoon, and the food was pretty good.I had the chicken sate, coconut soup and spring rolls. My husband had the drunken noodle. All were good, and I loved and appreciated that I was able to request the level of spice. I love Thai flavors, but my tummy can't handle the heat. My husband ordered drinks for us at the bar and the service was a little slow, even though he was the only customer at the bar at the time. The bartender was chatting with a friend and I think she didn't realize he was there."
"After eating here several times a week for months now. I can openly say each and every dish you order is made with professionalism and love! I am completely vegan so my eating needs are a bit challenging for most restaurants. Not here though they will accommodate all your dietary needs. The scenery is very quaint and homely so get relaxed and enjoy your meal."

"Always outstanding!Service is excellent and friendly, food is amazing the sushi is perfect.I will add another review a bit later"
"I went on the weekend and order off the menu. It was good. The food was fresh and well prepared. The owner was working the place and we talked a good bit. Found out a lot of the food on the menu comes from Thailand. Went back a couple of days later and tried the buffet. It was ok. And had a great selection of food. I'm just not a big fan of buffets"
"Holy spicy. I'm having trouble even thinking spicy about this review spicy because it's so spicy spicy. And I like spicy. But the "medium" (2/4 level spicy) is INSANE to me. My nose is running, eyes watering, stomach hurting after about 5 bites. But it tastes so good I wish I could keep eating (green curry tofu). I will have to mix this with extra rice just to be able to finish it. I will order mild next time for certain. If you came to the reviews section to see if you're the only one who can't handle it, don't worry, it's not just you. The satay was good and the tom yum was too. The tom yum was really good and very sour."
"This is the same Singha restaurant that was a staple in the CBD since 1999. When they closed up, I was saddened. Then IMMEDIATELY OVERJOYED when I saw they opened up not 10 minutes from my house. The food is extremely good, but I am biased because I used to eat at their old location regularly. The interior is okay, not as good as their old location. However, I'm not there for the environment. I am there for the delicious food."
"Amazing! The owners (including the daughter) were super welcoming. The husband greeted us upon arrival. The space is a bit tight but large enough for a standard wheelchair. I started off with the crab rangoons. I INHALED these. LOL. They were piping hot and full of creamy goodness. I am used to crab rangoons being a tad sweeter, but these were still delicious. I had the red curry with spice level 2 for my entree. I am a spice girl, but boy did this pack a punch. I'm glad I went with level 2. LOL. The dish was so rich and flavorful. I thoroughly enjoyed it and would definitely return for this. I also tried the crab fried rice. The portion is enormous and definitely enough for 2-4 people. This was a nice treat as well and packed with a lot of crab. A couple people found the rice a bit overcooked but I thought it was fine (which was odd since I'm a stickler for perfectly cooked rice that errs on the side of firm). Surprisingly, the gumbo was my least favorite. This is the only item I wouldn't get again when I return. The roux was extremely thin and it tasted a bit on the fishy side. Maybe this is the intention though!Overall, I was impressed by Thai NOLA and I definitely think it lives up to the hype!"
"A very good variety on the buffet table and all was freshly prepared. Can't say much about the service since a buffet and you for the most part serve yourself. We had to ask for drink refills instead of being offered. Typical strip mall location with ok ambiance."
"We tried Thai Kitchen for the first time last night, and we really enjoyed it! We each started with a summer roll, and it was nicely done with fresh veggies. My wife had the peanut chicken dish, and I had the shrimp cashew nut dinner. We enjoyed our respective dishes, which were properly seasoned and full of fresh veggies. Service was prompt and police, and the ambiance was delightfully local. We'll be back!"
"This restaurant is takeout only. There are tables and chairs stacked up along the walls, so perhaps this was a change that came about from covid. A few weeks ago I had a random craving for Pad Thai. I found Thai Chili and suggested it for lunch one day at work. The food was excellent. I have craved it ever since and actually ordered it both yesterday and today and I could still eat a bucket of their Pad Thai. The crab wontons and egg rolls are also pretty good.Yesterday I was half an hour late to pick up our orders, but they keep the boxes covered waiting for pick up, so the food was still hot by the time I got it back to work! Highly recommend. It shares a parking lot with City Cafe. Easy to find and lots of parking even at lunch hour."
"Amazing food. Great flavors and wonderful execution. Portion sizes are better than one may expect. Really friendly staff and management. Good catch!"
"We went Friday afternoon for dinner! The food was yummy and service was great (we were the only people in the restaurant). We plan to come back! I love drunken noodles but do not like the thick noodles, so I got Pad Thai since it has skinny noodles! I wish there was an in between because I wish it had all the veggies that drunken noodles has."

I thought I been completed a review for Budsi's...hmmmm...well let me do it now!!!!! I absolutely LOVE this place! I was introduced to Budsi's by my best friend Jessi. I came here and fell in love. The ambiance is super chill and casual. There's two ways to dine...order and drink at the bar or order at the food counter & seat yourself. It's an open kitchen so you can see and smell the magic cooking. Bartenders are on point. I always sit at the bar. I always get the Spicy Buds-Rita. It's there spin on a spicy margarita and it is tasty!!!! The pad Thai is phenomenal. The tom yum soup is amazing and flavorful. I've not had a bad dish yet. Come here and stay for the betterment of your tastebuds. Love love love! Checks all of the boxes!!!!

We stopped in here because we wanted Thai food. We went there for dinner and I think they cater mostly to the lunch crowd and take out in the evening because no one was there. It is very close to the Covington courthouse. We ordered pad woon sen and drunken noodles and both were really good but if you don't like spicy, order your drunken noodles mild. I loved the flavor of the pad and the crispness and freshness of the veggies. I also loved the texture of the glass noodles. I would definitely go back or order take out.

The food at Mimi's is amazing. The service is also very good and attentive. Although I've enjoyed their buffet, I would recommend trying the menu items as well. The portions are generous and obviously fresh. The ambiance of the restaurant is nice and I found it to be exceptionally clean. Always a plus!

I recently visited a small and cozy Thai restaurant with a welcoming atmosphere. The interior is very small and home like and service was decent and fast. I tried the Thai iced tea, but it was a bit too sweet for my liking. The Pad Thai, while decent, had vegetables that didn't seem as fresh as usual--though it could have just been an off day. The dish also leaned on the sweeter side, which may not suit everyone's palate. My friend ordered a curry with medium spice, but it ended up being milder than expected. We did not felt the spice at all. For anyone who enjoys heat, I'd recommend going for the highest spice level. Overall, it's a charming spot, especially if you enjoy sweeter Thai dishes--it's worth a visit.

Good Lawd that was good. I'm in town from California visiting Family. My Sister told me that Thai NOLA had some of the best Tai food she has had even in California. Challenge accepted. I have to say that was very good. In fact absolutely some of the best I've ever had, even in California. I started slow this visit with the Pad Thai. My thinking was that if they can't cook Pad Thai nothing else would make sense. I got the Combo Pad Thai with Shrimp Beef and Chicken. My goodness, that was good. I can't wait to try the Oxtail Special before I head back to California. When I find a good Restaurant I have a habit of going back the next day if possible. It's possible. Lol! I had a chance to meet the Owner, Gerald who is a great guy. I Love how their daughter is there working after school. Teach them young. The Restaurant is a whole Vibe with happy people and the Owner treating everyone like family from what I observed. If in New Orleans, especially New Orleans East stopping by here is a must. Even if you are Downtown it's worth the 20-30 minute trip. Y'allhollaatchaboy!.

I've only ordered through DoorDash, but I always get delicious food that's still hot. So far I've only ordered the same items each time I've ordered. The shrimp fried rice, fried chicken wings, and shrimp egg roll. They pack SO much rice and have decent sized shrimp.

"I like you, Pomelo. But do i like you, like you? It's not like that. Sorry. We should just be friends. Let's not complicate things. Friday, you ask? Sorry... I'm busy. Saturday too. Maybe I can make Wednesday work. Let's talk about it Tuesday. I know you have limited tables... don't wait for me. Yes, keep some of that green curry warm just in case."
"The food here is great! I've been for lunch a few times when I'm in Houma and this food is not messing around! They offer a 1-5 level of spiciness and even though I'm a super spice lover the level 3 is enough for me! I've gotten the Drunken Noodles and Pad Thai before and both are great and have huge portions where you can take the other half home for another meal. I also enjoy the steamed dumplings. Go check it out!"
"We didn't know that they were closing 30mins after we got there, and they made sure our service and quick and good. They didn't rush us or let us know they were closing soon, I really appreciate that.Food was good, tasty. Some dishes weren't made traditionally the way most Thai restaurants does it, but it doesn't mean it wasn't good. We enjoyed the 4 dishes that we got. I'd be back."
"Family owned and run business. I've known and followed this sweet lady to three different places. My recommendation is the Basil Chicken. Not on the menu, but readily available. Choose your own level of heat. Served with rice, soup and spring roll. Add a drink and tax, it's only $15."
"The hubby & I visited for date nite last weekend and I was pleasantly surprised. The place is not too small but not large. They could stand to dim the lights a bit to create a more chill, slightly romantic vibe but it's a cute spot. Everyone was friendly & attentive without being bothersome. Now, the food... DELICIOUS The Drunken Noodles were excellent. My husband isn't a fan of Asian food but he, too, enjoyed his food. Those little donuts are perfect little fluffy pillows of yumminess. Being that they are basically beignets, more powdered sugar is in order and, for me, cookies & creme is a strange choice for ice cream flavors. We will definitely be returning soon to try more things."
"I love me some Thai food and Thai'd Up never disappoints. I go to the bar next door quite a bit so it's great to have them there as a food option. They will even deliver it to you in the bar if you want. I enjoy dining in though. I think it's nice and cute and quiet. They always have a great playlist on when I'm in there too. I love a little dining sing-a-long. I love their jalapeño poppers. The heat level is perfect and they have the crab rangoon mix in them. Their calamari is well-battered and well fried. The squid tastes fresh and is juicy under the crunchy exterior. I like both the drunken noodles and the pad thai but I give the pad thai the edge. It's not dry like some places and the flavors are well-balanced. The portion sizes are also good and the price is great!"
"Thanksgiving was over and I needed to cleanse my palate from heavy foods....perfect choice!!! The food was hot, tasty and served with a smile."
"5 star takeout!! Simply superb! We decided to try this Thai restaurant tonight for a quiet night in and we were beyond impressed. We ordered crab rangoons which were truly fantastic and also had pad Thai and the khao soi with chicken....wow! The pad Thai was a hit as it usually is but the khao soi was something new to us - creamy and rich coconut cream sauce with something similar to angel hair if you love pasta dishes. The prices were reasonable and we are feeling so fat and happy right now! Filling, flavorful, and a perfect meal to pickup kn busy or low key nights."
"Red Apple is close to home, Red Apple is next to my grocery, Red Apple is a tiny little place, Red Apple is kicking out some deeeeeelicious grub!I've yet to order something here and not thoroughly enjoy it. Shrimp and Eggplant in Garlic sauce, Lemon Chicken, House Special Fried Rice, Lo-mein, from the standards to the specialty dishes, if you are looking for Chinese to go, make Red Apple your one stop ticket to culinary delight!"
"Great place to grab Thai food on a Saturday night with friends.Started with an order of spring rolls and roti. Love the red curry sauce that accompanies the roti. Perfect for dipping. Our table ordered a variety of soups and curries. Favorites included the Tom Ka Gai soup. Chicken and coconut milk broth with Thai herbs. So warm and comforting. The red curry can be ordered with tofu, chicken, beef, shrimp or a combo of chicken and shrimp. The red curry sauce, combined with coconut milk, bamboo shoots, carrots, bell peppers, and basil is so delicious. The Khao Soi was so rich. Is it a soup or is it a curry? The coconut curry broth soup is filled with so much flavor. The rich soup comes with sliced chicken, a chicken drumstick, crispy and soft egg noodles, fried onions, mustard greens, and Thai herbs. Love the crunch of the dried noodles mixed with the broth. So unique and so yummy.Add a Thai iced tea. So refreshing. The owner came to check on us multiple times. My friends know him, but they say he also checks on patrons that he doesn't know frequently. A really nice place to have dinner with family or friends."
"The service was very nice. Their Thai tea was so delicious! I added the brown sugar jelly in it, and it made the flavor even better! For the food that I ate, I ordered the Royal Spaghetti, but it was not the best as they added too much oil to the meal; however, maybe this just comes to my preference and the fact that I just simply chose the wrong dish. The dishes that the rest of my cousins ate looks better than mines, so I won't judge too harshly. As for the decor, it's not aesthetic and trendy, but the customer service made up for it. In conclusion, I would come back and try a better dish."
"Thai D Jing was delicious! The flavors were so fresh and delicious -- plus, you can add any protein to any dish. I went with a larger party, so the only downside is that not everyone's food came out at the same time, and we had to wait a little while to eat."
"Went to Chill Out Cafe because of a friend's high recommendation! Glad we had the chance to enjoy their great food!As Chinese who grew up in Hong Kong for 15 years, I am always fond of any food that is Asian-related. May it be Japanese, Korean, or Indian cuisine. I tend it enjoy them all. This establishment happened to be a Thai restaurant. We went there to enjoy the mostly classic Thai dishes, like sweet mango rice and green curry etc. If you see my posts, I tend to describe many Asian restaurants as generic. This is far from it. The owner lady actually spent time to decorate the food The proper place settings etc. Inside the restaurant, they made it a very classic yet modern ambience. They helped make my short vacation in Luisiana with some very high quality dining experience. Highly recommended!"
"Another easy 5-star review! All Yelpers should get excited about visiting Banana Blossom. The entire staff is extremely friendly and will proactively recommend entrees for you to try if it's your first visit. Get there as soon as they open (5pm) to ensure there is no wait and try the early bird discounted appetizers. The steamed dumplings, fried ribs, and the Thai shrimp pasta are some of my favorites. The bartenders make a very good old fashioned. There is also a huge dessert selection. While waiting for your food your food to arrive, pay attention to the details inside the dining room such as the fresh flowers and art on display. Nice reusable takeout "food prep" containers are given for leftovers or takeout orders. Say hello to the owner Jimmy while you are there! Eat local and enjoy."
"Food was off the chain, my cocktail was good too. Bar keep was very nice and led me to the right thing on the menu, I love a good duck so I had the duck soup dish, a duck ramen I believe. Everyone was nice even the other people at the bar, we had shots with them all. The atmosphere was nice and clean as well, I highly recommend this spot if you're looking for good Thai."
"Truly enjoyed this new Thai spot inside Brewsky's bar. The owners are really friendly and the owner was the one who cooked our food. Delicious food. Suprisingly good variety of Thai dishes. You order on kiosk and then they will bring food to your table. We loved everything we ordered. This will be one of my regular spots now!"
"If you ask for Thai hot, prepare for a delicious and hurtful meal. I have never understood people who enjoy pain. But then I realized that I like Thai hot food. Am I one of those people? There is no telling but your boy sure loves him some incredibly hot Thai food. The server looked at me with a little side eye when I ordered my food that way. But Thai hot I asked for and Thai hot is what I received. Hell yes! Bring on the heat.Thai Pepper is an incredibly popular lunch spot in BR. So popular that when we went here we saw like five other people from work here. Despite being packed, service was friendly and we received our food quickly. My entre was Ginger delight with chicken. Get this. How they were able to blend the magical flavor of all the spices and have a heat level of 1000 is impressive. If you like heat and flavor, get this. If you like flavor and no heat, get this but keep it mild.If you are wondering just how hot Thai hot was, my sinuses were completely clear, my face was red, and I was sweating like I had just walked into a Catholic Church. It was awesome and I can't wait to go back."
"Got us a little to-go order after a long week of snow (yes, snow in south Louisiana, y'all know it's true) and ice. Tom Kha soups all around for me and the Petunia.Totally yum - coconut milk, lemongrass, all the good things and shrimp! I can't wait for my next bowl, really. The folks here are friendly and smiling, even though we took our food to go, and really bolstered my mood in this weather...thanks!"
"Thai Djing is the best food truck in New Orleans! They are usually parked at either Tulane medical center or LSU medical center during the week or at the Gretna farmers market on Saturdays! If you see them around town, definitely go check them out! The menu is small but awesome! I stick to their chicken pad thai, which is delicious and huge (and only $7!) The people working there are always really friendly! If you go during peak lunch time there will be a long line but it's worth the wait and it moves relatively quickly! I would suggest going between 1 and 2 to have a shorter wait time! I'm seriously obsessed with this food truck and hope that they open a restaurant soon!Food -- 5 starsPrice -- 5 starsService -- 5 stars"
"Got there just before 7. Ordered two orders of wantons.. this were the best have ever had. Could taste the filling.. the sauce was fantastic. My grandson ate at least 5 of them. He doesn't eat anything. I got the Golden Duck -- with sauce on the side level 3. This was fantastic. WOW! I had the best dish as per my DiL, and she tasted everything. My wife's pork fried rice was top class, I got a good bit of that as well.I wish I had taken pictures, but I was too hungry and just ate.Go here. GO HERE NOW!!"
"I tried Thai Mint because I wanted something that was not fast food and not too expensive. I walked in about 30 minutes before they closed for lunch. There is bar seating and there are many tables. I ordered the beef red curry. Before my entree came out, I was given a bowl of soup and a spring roll. The hot and sour soup was a 10/10! The curry had hints of coconut milk and a little bit of spice. My total was less than $16 w/ gratuity. Awesome place for lunch!"
"Starting to love this place more and more. Can't live without their Chicken Wraps!! The service is great and the staff is always SO friendly!!"
"Wow, this place is way out there, but the servings are huge and extremely affordable. The food is tasty although I wish I had ordered everything to be at a scale of 1.5 because that would've been the perfect heat. The vegetables are nicely and the atmosphere is really pretty and the service was pleasant. It's really a beautiful brightly colored space and a tiny strip mall in Chalmette and the food is really really good. Will be back."
