"I met some friends for dinner here Sunday afternoon, and the food was pretty good.I had the chicken sate, coconut soup and spring rolls. My husband had the drunken noodle. All were good, and I loved and appreciated that I was able to request the level of spice. I love Thai flavors, but my tummy can't handle the heat. My husband ordered drinks for us at the bar and the service was a little slow, even though he was the only customer at the bar at the time. The bartender was chatting with a friend and I think she didn't realize he was there."
"The hours are not accurate. Not open every day. Waisted my lunch break going there. Concierge at the building entrance also had no clue."
"This is the same Singha restaurant that was a staple in the CBD since 1999. When they closed up, I was saddened. Then IMMEDIATELY OVERJOYED when I saw they opened up not 10 minutes from my house. The food is extremely good, but I am biased because I used to eat at their old location regularly. The interior is okay, not as good as their old location. However, I'm not there for the environment. I am there for the delicious food."
"The food here is good, but the ambience is a little weird. I can't put my finger on it, but I think it would better serve a pizza restaurant. We went about 30 mins before they closed, so the place may have been picked up for closing time. The wait staff is super friendly, and the prices aren't bad. We ordered general chicken, some egg rolls and sweet and sour chicken. Definitely large portions, and like I said, it is pretty tasty."
"After a Saturday morning h.s. basketball game, our large group was hungry and we picked this spot (it was within 10 minutes of where we were). The ambiance was casual with a small bar, about six tables of 4 with place mats, small fake plants (tags still on them) and plastic white tablecloths. We were the only ones in the restaurant until the last ten minutes or so when we were paying our bill. Two women assisted us throughout the meal. It took a while for us to get our apps and drinks (came out together) and I suspect it was due to short staff. One set of wings came out well after we received our entrees. My lemonade had a lot of sugar at the bottom of the glass; I did not finish it. I expected more toppings on my bulgogi fries, but the fries themselves were delicious. Of all the food items people ordered, the chicken baos, wings and fries were most liked. A few of the teens said they would have their dishes again. I doubt I'll return."
"I ordered this via Yelp to my hotel. Great sushi! Fresh and delicious.Fast service too"
"Came for lunch with a friend on a Sunday. Seat yourself, they bring you a menu and take your order. I got the crab rangoons and the beef with rice. All was very good and fresh. Friendly service. Everything was neat, clean and well laid out."
"5 star takeout!! Simply superb! We decided to try this Thai restaurant tonight for a quiet night in and we were beyond impressed. We ordered crab rangoons which were truly fantastic and also had pad Thai and the khao soi with chicken....wow! The pad Thai was a hit as it usually is but the khao soi was something new to us - creamy and rich coconut cream sauce with something similar to angel hair if you love pasta dishes. The prices were reasonable and we are feeling so fat and happy right now! Filling, flavorful, and a perfect meal to pickup kn busy or low key nights."
"Ordered the Bun vermicelli noodles and shrimp and it was great. A friend ordered the pho and it was great as well. Always a good option if you want some Vietnamese delivery."

I thought I been completed a review for Budsi's...hmmmm...well let me do it now!!!!! I absolutely LOVE this place! I was introduced to Budsi's by my best friend Jessi. I came here and fell in love. The ambiance is super chill and casual. There's two ways to dine...order and drink at the bar or order at the food counter & seat yourself. It's an open kitchen so you can see and smell the magic cooking. Bartenders are on point. I always sit at the bar. I always get the Spicy Buds-Rita. It's there spin on a spicy margarita and it is tasty!!!! The pad Thai is phenomenal. The tom yum soup is amazing and flavorful. I've not had a bad dish yet. Come here and stay for the betterment of your tastebuds. Love love love! Checks all of the boxes!!!!

I got the shrimp fried rice. It was good and I would get it again. The shrimp were cooked beautifully and there were a lot. I can attest to someone else's review about it not being greasy. I don't detect any oil which I love. It was really clean on the inside and the staff was super friendly and the service was fast!

I'm Vietnamese and live in the neighborhood so wanted to try Gilda's after I heard it had replaced Pho Kang. While the staff was friendly, this wasn't the kitchen's night. The pho was flavorless, the bangin shrimp were tough, the pork in the vermicelli bowl was tough and flavorless, and worst of all we requested no cilantro on the Korean wings due to an allergy and there was a ton on them. The best part of the meal were the egg rolls.I hope they can improve quickly because there's a lot of competition nearby.

One of the only things left open in the plaza. The lady taking my order also served me and made the sushi! Super fresh, really good, good food and nice lady as well. Gave me a little seaweed and noodle salad while I waited for her to make my roll. No complaints.

Best pho in the city, the broth is always perfect, so authentic. I always get the no 8 Pho Thai Chin Nam Gan Sach- Rare eye of round, brisket fatty brisket, tendon, and tripe. Ate the whole thing but it's truly two meals, it was so perfect on a cold day! Jasmine green tea is a perfect compliment, and the staff are amazing!

By far the best Thai I've had on the north shore. The Thai iced tea hits on a hot summer day. We got pad see ew and pad Thai, both incredible and packed with flavor. The pad see ew noodles were perfect, a nice light texture with an incredible punch of flavor hitting your palate. The pad Thai also, slaps. Looking forward to going back and trying the curry! Also, the customer service was 10/10. They gave my little nephew an ice cream cone on the house, and overall they were extremely kind. Highly recommended!

"I haven't been to Tan Dinh in a while, so I decided to dine in when I had some free time. I really liked the seat-yourself service. I ordered the sweet jasmine tea, and I was a little worried that it might be too sweet, but the server told me they add lime to it to cut the sugar. It turned out to be very refreshing. I also ordered the lemongrass spring rolls, which had an insane amount of chicken and flavor. They tasted really good. I decided to try something new from the menu and ordered the salt and pepper shrimp with lemongrass sauce. The huge, juicy shrimp were topped with amazing seasoning, pickled veggies, and served with steamed rice. It was simply AMAZING!"
"Another easy 5-star review! All Yelpers should get excited about visiting Banana Blossom. The entire staff is extremely friendly and will proactively recommend entrees for you to try if it's your first visit. Get there as soon as they open (5pm) to ensure there is no wait and try the early bird discounted appetizers. The steamed dumplings, fried ribs, and the Thai shrimp pasta are some of my favorites. The bartenders make a very good old fashioned. There is also a huge dessert selection. While waiting for your food your food to arrive, pay attention to the details inside the dining room such as the fresh flowers and art on display. Nice reusable takeout "food prep" containers are given for leftovers or takeout orders. Say hello to the owner Jimmy while you are there! Eat local and enjoy."
"Always great pho. We come here often for lunch. Brisket pho is my go to. Add veggies."
"This place is good. And serves a great dish of phoa. The other pace for Chinese food shut down. So this is the only one left in town. They also have some very good Vietnamese dishes that I really enjoy. Today got the Beef Stew w/ Rice Noodle. Really good flavor. The portion is huge. Can't wait to try some of the other things."
"This spot is very clean and friendly staff, I used to come here when I was vegetarian and get their avocado bubble tea and vegetarian noodle bowl with tofu, The place is still the same, very delicious and prices are affordable. My older sister loves this place too and brings us on the weekends. They use real fruit in their bubble tea and food comes out hot and fast, I recommend their pho and combo plates , its very filling and fresh!!"
"This family-owned restaurant is an absolute treasure! The warmth and dedication of the staff shine through in every dish they serve. Their Asian cuisine is phenomenal - I can't recommend the pho #1 and spring rolls enough... simply outstanding! Everything tastes wonderfully homemade using top-quality, fresh ingredients. You can truly taste the care that goes into their food. A well-deserved rating! If you haven't visited yet, you're missing out on one of the best dining experiences in town."
"The food is great! Everything was very tasty! We had pad Thai, steam buns with grilled pork and pho, and everything was delicious. The portions are good, the pad Thai has a good kick, if you are sensitive to spice, let the server know. The pho was good too. The service is very effective, staff is very helpful and kid, I was surprised at how fast food came! The ambience of the place is chill and quiet. Some music in the background playing, but nothing craWe liked the Negative side: they don't have a baby changing table... it is a boomer, because I really like this place, but without a way to change my baby's diaper it is difficult for me to consider going back... and changing the baby's diaper in my car is not an option, no when index temperature is 110*F outside... other than that, this is a good place."
"Tried the place out for date night, here's my honest review Service - friendly smiling faces, quick service 10/10Appetizers- I felt like I could have fried this at home with store bought apps so next time I probably won't order any except maybe edamame Sushi - loved the sushi, tasted very fresh came out very quickly and didn't have too much riceSoba noodles - flavor is there, wish it had more chicken though but still goodDessert- it's a hot banana.. so mehOverall definitely worth trying, we will be back I'm sure, atmosphere was great, it's a pretty restaurant so the aesthetics are great. I hope this place succeeds! Try it for yourself and leave a review!"
"Food and service was great! We had sushi this time and it was so delicious! They even had a little flair add. Dry ice and flowers. We felt special:) ** clean restrooms!"
"Strip mall food at its finest! It's a medium sized Vietnamese restaurant that has exceptional food and does a brisk business. Service is efficient. The ambiance is not fancy. But, the food - the food! The crab Rangoon has crab and comes with a delicious mild chili sauce, which is far superior to the sweet and sour sauce most places provide. The big highlight is the grilled shrimp summer rolls. They are filled with fresh cucumber, carrot, vermicelli, and fresh grilled shrimp with a perfectly balanced bit of fresh mint. It comes with a lightly spicy peanut sauce. Might want to ask for extra peanut sauce."
"We came right after they opened on their first day. We were really excited about a Thai restaurant opening in our area. We knew they may be short staffed and still learning since it was their first day. We were greeted and seated right away. Everyone was very pleasant. The restaurant is very clean and nice.We ordered steamed dumplings for our appetizer. We both said they were the absolute best we have ever had. Just a touch of spicy and absolutely delicious! We highly recommend them!I ordered the Thai Cashew Nut with Chicken and my husband ordered the Thai Garlic with Pork. Both were delicious and we would get them again, though we would probably increase the spice level next time. We weren't sure the first time what to expect. There were a few glitches in service, but nothing surprising for literally the first hour they are open. There were quite a few people here and tons of people picking up orders to go.Overall, the food was excellent, and we will definitely be back to try additional menu items. If you are in the area, give this new restaurant try!"
"If you like a funky stripped down place that is a bit difficult to spot and has all the ambiance and decoration of a laundromat then this is the place for you.Walked there last week in the heat and humidity. Most folks seemed to be getting their food to go but we ate outside under a canopy in the somewhat disheveled back yard and it was fine as there was a ceiling fan back there. While they bring your food out to you it is up to you to get knives, forks, napkins etc.The hostess was very friendly and informative and the food was first rate. The lone chef was very businesslike in the tiny kitchen but he obviously is very talented.Great value. Will definitely return next time we are in New Orleans.Hopefully by then they would have hired some nearby high school kids to paint murals on the blank walls!"
"This is the best Thai I have had in some time. I have eaten mostly Vietnamese for the last several years after getting some disappointing Thai. The Charm Thai Bistro made me very happy and a fan again when I dug into my to-go order of Massaman chicken curry. My partner got the special fried rice with pineapple and he was happy as well, My curry had a great flavor. It is not a sweet curry and I know often people expect a curry to be sweet and this one is not overly sweet. The only mistake was I ordered it mild. I wasn't sure of the heat level here since it was my first time ordering. This is white people mild and I say that as a white person. There is zero heat and spice at mild. I will order medium next time. I don't usually like the highest levels of heat because I prefer to taste my food, but I will definitely go to the medium here since I love some spicy flavor and a little kick. Otherwise, yummy! Really good flavor even at mild and huge pieces of white meat chicken, potatoes, and veggies. Fresh ingredients! Whole peanuts! It was delicious and I can't imagine how yummy it will be with a bit more flavor and heat! The special fried rice was equally delicious with fantastic ingredients. There were raisins!!! Oh, there's nothing like the taste of a caramelized raisin in a savory dish and then the sweet/sour pop of the pineapple with a mix of proteins. Mmmm... really yummy too, in case you can't tell, I tasted it. It's the price I would expect to pay for these dishes. It's not an inexpensive meal out but not overpriced for the food you get either. I don't mind paying around $20 a person (with fees, tax, tip) for quality food. There is a small convenience fee when you order online for pickup. I don't like paying a convenience fee but it is convenient and easy to order. When we arrived to pick up, our order was ready and hot. It's located in a nice, newer shopping strip on HWY 21 in Covington. The strip still has a lot of open spaces but it has this excellent restaurant and Albasha (Also delicious!) in it, so you can't go wrong! The restaurant is small with maybe 8-10 tables and a few seats up at the bar. It was clean with a modern look. Very pleasant. My limited interaction with the employee since I had ordered and payed online was also quite pleasant. We will definitely be back! I can't wait to try some of the other dishes, although, it's going to be really tough not to order these two dishes again since they were so scrumptious!"
