"Great family-owned and operated restaurant in NOLA!Some friends and I visited NOLA in August for a friend's birthday...I know what you're thinking...why would you go there in August?! Anyway, a few people in the group went here one day and came back to our Air BnB raving about this place. So much so that we all decided to go there to eat the following day. Our Uber dropped us off in the back of the restaurant and we were instructed to seat ourselves. The staff remembered my friends from the day before and we were quickly greeted and our drink orders were taken. There were only a couple of other patrons in the restaurant. It's fairly small, but that's what makes it special. It's not unlike many of the other restaurants throughout the streets of New Orleans. I was unfortunately recovering from food poisoning so I did order a cocktail and decided to stick with a salad. I ordered the chicken salad and my friends ordered a variety of other dishes, included the Beef Shwarma pizza. Everything was so good! Since I was still recovering I wasn't able to eat much, but what I did eat was flavorful and delicious! We didn't order cocktails or hookah, but their menu looks great. I highly recommend trying this place for authentic Lebanese food from a friendly family with great customer service!"
"I've been here plenty of times for takeout. The service is super quick and the value is great for the price you pay. I always get the gyro salad, and the amount of gyro is always plentiful. I do wish there was more salad than meat, but that's just me. The food has always been consistent and the meat has never been dry. I definitely recommend Serops if you're in the neighborhood and in a hurry for a quick bite."
Gyro, served with rice, hummus, Greek salad, pita and Tzatziki sauce.

"Omg this place was a true hidden gem!!! I loved the esthetics and Ambiance of the Cafe for sure felt like I was in a mini little cafe in Greece!!! The Food was prompt and so flavorful and a great amount considering it was lunch!!! The staff service was superb they were very attentive to their guests!!!"
"Can I just say, "fried cheese!" Amazing!! Don't know how they do it but it's the best we've had! And to dip the warm bread in the oil. Perfection. We love the Jordanian wrap loaded with meat. However, our new favorite is the tuna with this beautiful white cream sauce with shrimp. I'm drooling writing this. Of course, it comes with rice and super hummus. It's a must try. And bonus you can bring your own bottle of wine to enjoy. The people are always nice and the place is alway clean. Give it a try."
"Greek on the go. What's not to love? Fast and friendly service and the pita wrap was delicious. Great place for something quick. The staff really knows how to work as a team!"
"Albasha Express is very good. Everything tastes the same as the other Albasha locations. My only 2 critiques are: When eating on site, they still put your food in a Styrofoam to-go container, why not just use plates?Because of these containers, they give you significantly less salad than at the regular restaurant, which is a big bummer. Increase the salad portion, and Albasha Express might be a 5 star."
"Whoa, I haven't been here in a long time like before Covid hit the USA and man have I missed it. I've never eaten inside because I'm the only one in the family that has a taste of the mediterranean. So I always get it to go and smell it all the way home. I get the gyros plate which comes with a feta cheese salad, rice, pita bread, fabulous hummus and my yummy yummy meat!! It's a lot of food or at least to me it is. I'll eat on it between 2-3 meals, which isn't bad when you break down the lunch price of $14.30 (that's tax included there) before Covid it was under $10.00 but still for someone who can eat in on it more than one meal that's no to shabby! I've never met the owners but they keep a very clean and relaxing restaurant. The employees are always very kind and helpful."
"Clean family owned chain. Super fresh and well prepared and cooked Greek and Lebanese food. Consistent and fast on to go orders"
"That Philly cheesesteak hit the spot! It was a good size, and I probably could have split it in half if I wasn't so hungry. The service was fast and the young lady that took my order was super sweet! I'll be stopping by here more often when I'm in the area for a good meal!"

When you go to New Orleans, you don't really think about Middle Eastern food, but this restaurant was so delicious that we went back twice. We really enjoyed their garlic sauce, hummus, Taziki sauce. It's all very very good. The salad was exceptional. How many times have you ever complimented a salad? It's right across from the market, making it very convenient to shop and then find a place to sit and relax in a beautiful ambience. The wait staff was very friendly. We talked about their food culture, and something we already knew and some things we discovered. When I went back the second time it was for takeout and they remembered me, and they treated me very well and served us giant plates of food. Can't wait to go back.

Solid Greek option coming into Baton Rouge right off of Highland Road by I-10. I stopped in for a Gyro plate, and was not disappointed. It was not the best I've had, but it was good. The service was also worth noting, with friendly people behing the counter. BOTTOM LINE: Yummy Gyros, large selection of food.

Athenos was delish--chef's kiss!I was treated promptly and seated. The waitress was so kind and brought my drink immediately. I order my meal in a to-go container so I could easily bring the leftovers home. The feta salad was so fresh and delicious! The gyro plate was a great amount of food for the price. The hummus was homemade and I recommend paying extra to add the toppings to the hummus. I wish I would have been given more pita because some parts were so hard it wasn't great for dipping. Overall, I would definitely come back! The restrooms and dining area were clean. The dining area was inviting and I enjoyed looking at the flags and decor.I highly recommend!

I can only speak for the drive through because I haven't been inside of the restaurant yet, but the drive through is absolutely amazing!! The menu is clear and easy to understand, the person on the speaker is always polite and takes your order accurately, and they are very fast! I'm talking about as soon as you pay, your order is ready, there's no waiting! I was simply amazed, I've been there 4 times this week already! I suggest Serops for a quick bite on your lunch break or an excellent lunch with your family !

Food was great, service was great. It was very clean and quiet for the most part. You self-seat and a waitress came to us to take our orders almost immediately. I had a falafel wrap with rice pilaf and salad (it came with 2 sides) and it was very flavorful. The tea was very refreshing as well.

Another Lebanese restaurant worth trying! Arzi's has been a staple for Baton Rouge for a long time. They recently opened a new location in Baton Rouge after closing the government street location. Same great food! Plenty of seating inside. Wait service or you can order to go. The rice here is more of a basmati rice rather than jasmine. The chicken shawarma was really juicy. I also had the shrimp pasta. The shrimp is fried. In case you're not a fan of fried. This was my first visit at this location. Have to come back to try their desserts!! They looked amazing!! Quaint setting inside.

"Good food! Went for a real late lunch and the place was empty. We had an appetizer and lunch special. This please doesn't break the bank and gyro was good!"
"I was staying at a friend's place on Perkins Rowe and this restaurant was within walking distance from the apartment so I decided to give it a try.Menus are simple, either you pick one of the combos on the menu or you can build your own. I decided to get #3 - combination platter: gyro, chicken shawarma, rice pilaf, feta salad, and hummus. Cost was about $11. One thing I liked about paying with a credit card is the fact they don't have a tip line on the receipt. This is cafeteria style after all. They give you plenty of food for your money. My plate was filled up although I was a bit disappointed that they gave me a lot more chicken than they did shawarma. I would have preferred it 50-50.The chicken was good and pretty tender, the shawarma was a little bit dry but had a good flavor. The rice and the salad were both good. The hummus was also delicious but the pita bread that came with the hummus was soggy and not too appetizing. At the end of the day, I enjoyed my meal. And for the price that I paid, I thought it was a real good value. Need a fresher bread for sure though, and not be too stingy with the shawarma."
"I wanted to try this Byblos location because the menu is more extensive than the location closest to me. Upon entering, we were told to sit wherever we'd like (which was nice). Service pretty good but the overall environment was dull. Also, the dishes looked dingy and my veggies were in a cracked bowl. We started with the stuff grapes leaves and they were pretty good! I had the redfish entree (bland). The veggies were good, but I didn't feel comfortable eating anything that was placed on the cracked portion of the dish. The other guest had a beef gyro and the meat could have used more seasoning. The entire experience was average at best."
"I think this is the most underrated restaurant around this area. Portion is good. I always get the fattoush salad with chicken. Greens romaine not ice berg lettuce, fresh ingredients. Very reasonable price."
"Still the same amazing food. Try the tiramisu! Omg so good. Next time I'll try something else."
"Standard Greek and Lebanese menu, standard offerings all around. That's a good thing! The only thing missing here is a lunch menu (i.e. smaller portions). While the menu items look "standard," the execution and presentation are better than average. The royal hummus is loaded with tomatoes, feta, and olives. The vegetarian plate is fantastic. The falafel is very good, the grape leaves are perfect, and the moussaka is just lovely. And unlike other Greek/Lebanese places, the garlic is not overpowering and did not give me indigestion all day long. Can't go wrong here. Four stars - it's worth being a regular here!"
"I absolutely love this place... wether is dining in or using waitr, we always get great food. The chicken, the gyro and the hummus is always great and mouth pleasing....great service and a friendly staff.. highly recommend Arzi's."
"Delicious! Gyro plate is super delicious, their meat is soft and melts in your mouth. Pita bread is perfect and their grecian sauce that comes on the side is sooooooo good. I love the kibbeh appetizer which also comes with Grecian sauce! Yummmmy! Everything we've gotten here is great. It hits the spot."
"When you think you've tasted the "best thing ever," check yourself....this right here is the one of the best things you will ever put in your mouth.Order the Serop's Pasta, without the pasta, on a plate of eggplant medallions....order the shrimp with your gyro and shawarma. You're welcome. If you're lucky enough to be there when David is working, ask for him. Rarely have a I met a more accommodating, friendly, and mindful gentleman. He knows what we want before we do. And we eat a lot, a lot.Love this place and love these people!"
"Nom nom. I took a longer drive from my normal spot and it was so worth it. I went inside and the service was great which made me excited for the food. I kept hearing about how good their shawarma is and all the hype is real. The chicken was juicy and well seasoned and that sauce they put with it was top notch."
"I will say if you are not happy with your food order , they will work with you. Manager contacted me after seeing my review on"
"This is a great option for those looking for something healthy, allergy friendly, and fresh in the city. As a gluten free vegetarian I ordered the olive appetizers and fried cheese to get a little bit of everything! The falafel, grape leaves, and halloumi, are gluten free without the pita. I simply asked for some cucumbers on the side to dip into things! I loved the salty pickles that came with the fried cheese- they paired so nicely with the super crunchy and flavorful falafel. The cheese itself was salty and crispy, however did not stand out to me. The Turkish coffee and mango drink were both tasty; I was really impressed with the coffee and how strong but not bitter it was- this is a must try if you haven't had it before."
"This is a food court eatery. So I always get my food to go. They have fast service and generous portions. To top it all off the food is excellent. I always get the vegetarian plate and am never disappointed. I will go back on my next visit to clearview mall."
