"Look no further!Dinner time Mike waived us in and sold it. We could not be more grateful. He's a funny and authentic guy. We come to NOLA a lot and this has been by far the best service we have received ever while visiting here. Jake is extraordinary. He's courteous, down to earth, efficient and just an overall cool kat (said us both lol) The courtyard is well maintained, and such a nice way to spend the day in the sunshine. The live music is top notch and happy hour specials are delightful. We like it here and we will return. Thank you for listening to my Ted talk. Also, bloody Mary's here are supposed to be extraordinary for two people. My stomach can't handle that today but it's certainly a must."
"The music selection isn't the best, it's the same every week. The drinks are good and they always have great deals such as open bar from 8-10 every Friday with a $10 cover if you have your LSU student ID. They also have $1 drinks no cover on Thursday. Now, remember this is generally a college bar located in a college town it's not upscale so it's not fancy but if you want a good time and good company Fred's is a great place to go. The bartenders are friendly and people go here to have a good time, if you're looking for a fancy bar this isn't it but I wouldn't say it's classless, get a bunch of drunk people in a bar and what do you expect. Fred's is great."
"I love this place. Very laid back atmosphere, and I love the back area. The bartenders all seem pretty cool and so far every time I've gone the crowd has been chill wasygoing people."
"This spot was a 10 for all of us, as they brought the fun for my friend's bachelor party. We got our buddy on the stage to do some funny stuff and the drinks were killer good. I went rogue and bought four hurricanes and downed each one of them while my friends partook in other alcohol. I have experienced Bermuda Swizzles in Bermuda so this was right up my alley to enjoy walking down Bourbon street for the rest of the night. There 3 for 1 special was incredible and I have never been to a bar with a deal like that. I had so much fun there and cant wait to visit this place again when my time comes."
"We had a wonderful time at this club. We happen to stumble upon it as we were walking down the street checking out all the things to be seen in New Orleans! We stopped in here for probably about two hours and we were thoroughly entertained by the All-Star band! And their name is very benefiting because those young folks performed their behinds off! That was the best time I've had in a long time! They played everything from Chaka Khan to Whitney Houston to the Jackson 5 to the gap band to Maxwell to Jill Scott to Erykah Badu to NEO. Very nicely done!!!!"
"The Rabbit Hole was great! Went for a MOMS party and it was so much fun! Nice little spots to hangout in outside and two different stages inside. Hopefully MOMS picks this spot again for future parties!"
"This local spot has amazing food and great services with a live band or karaoke. It's great spot opens everyday and open late if you just want to stop for a quick drink or a delicious vietnamese meal . Has a wide collection of alcohols and beer.. please stop by next time you're in town"
""How about a night cap?" someone in my group asked. And walked in here since it was a mere two feet away. (Insert chuckle here.) Whoa, it's one of those places that's deceiving in appearance! Looks small on the outside but plenty of room on the inside! Matter of fact, there was a small event happening when we got there (but nothing big enough to shut it down to the public.) Ordered a hurricane to enjoy as I listen to the live music for entertainment. It was pretty mellow, so it was a good change from the loud (and some dissonant) sounds we just experienced walking through Bourbon. So it was a good place to end our Bourbon Street pub/bar crawl before going back to the hotel for some much needed rest...... (but the truth is we had a couple more nightcaps at a couple more places before we actually went back. Tee-hee!!!) Hey, it's NOLA. It's Bourbon Street! It's allowed! But yeah, good first run here. Would recommend!"
"I went "back in the day" when the Dungeon did not open until midnight. I think their hours were midnight to 8 AM. Typical of NOLA, drinks were pricey and once upstairs, you were elbow to elbow - it was tiny and always packed! You could not fit a stage in the upstairs area, and I know there was not live music. I enjoyed the super-divey atmosphere and the punk rock vibe of the era at the Dungeon. It was dark, crowded and it was difficult to see the kitschy items displayed in nooks in the walls. I was really happy to visit the Dungeon, even though we did not make an entire night of it."

The food, service and ambiance was great! We went twice while we were in town. They have a great Happy Hour 7 days a week. BOGO bottled beers, 24oz draft beer for the price of a 10oz and a double well shot cocktail for the price of a single. Devon was our waiter the first time we stopped in and he was very attentive. Provided great service and even charged my phone behind the bar for me. We stopped in for the second time on our last day in NOLA and Kaet was our bartender and she exceptional! Great service and convo! We'll definitely be back here when we come back. The first time we were there, we got a fried chicken sandwich and it wasn't the best...we would try something else the next time. But we just split it since we weren't too hungry. The fries are delicious! They test like Arby's curly fries!

Met this business at Fete Baton Rouge. They offered free entry with a sticker. I should have known better with this bar. Undergrad bar with a lot of underage drinking/drinkers. They not only didn't honor the voucher but didn't even acknowledge they were at Fete Baton Rouge. Nor did they acknowledge the existence of the person I spoke with. My girlfriend and I ended up paying at the door. I do not plan doing business with again nor do I recommend business if you intend to have large groups. Not the cleanest place and the drinks are not usually made to what your order.

This bar was the highlight of our live music Bourbon Street experience. We went two nights in a row, the first night the cover band was Phunky Monkeys absolute masterclass. They had a singer for every type of genre, the white guy on trombone did Eminem any rock song. Two women with curves for hip hop Beyoncé type songs, two black guys for raps and horns, and the guys in back on bass and drums. It was the best live music I've heard in long time. The next night we came back seeking that same energy but the cover band didn't have the pop singing older slow songs.Drinks were bar priced high strong, waitresses offering jello shooters by putting their chest on you good marketing techniques but I refused. One of the best bars we encountered.

This place was a vibe! Out of all of the hustle and bustle on Bourbon Street, we stumbled upon this place. They were playing R&B and had a live band! I hate that I forgot the name of the band but they were fabulous. It was a Wednesday night and they put on a show! We sang and danced for hours! I don't think the band was local, but they were in the right place at the right time.

Stubled upon this new music venue in Central City and it is a great one. Two stages, one inside and one outside, the drinks especially the batch cocktails were great. They have large sofas and seating areas and plenty of space outdoors in a vast yard to socialize in. I loved the venue and cant wait to go back.

"Going with what I feel. No set destination while club hopping on Bourbon Street. Inevitably The Famous Door is where I'd stop to dance and drink for awhile. It's a particular song being sung by a hypnotizing voice at that moment that draws me in. No different was it with "rolling in the deep" this Saturday night.Appealing also that there was no cover this time; there's capacity control at the front door; and, easy access to their beer & water tub from dance floor.CHEERS!"
"Not my usual cup of tea...When the Red Eye opened it was more of a diner, right? Or am I hallucinating that? And then it became a throw back dance club bar where you should NEVER where your good shoes since some drunky is going to pour a drink on you anyway. My youngest brother told me tonight that you shouldn't even try to go here if you're over 30. Oops...messed that one up.So the drinks are basic and the floor is sticky, but there was some awesome people watching. And I got to see a drunk girl try to pick a fight with a bouncer so that was amusing. I guess if it's what you're into then wooooo!"
"This place is located on bourbon street amongst all the other spots. Definitely a "hole-in-the-wall" type of spot. We decided to go in because this place was playing my type of music- super turned up ! There was no cover charge and there is a balcony outside that you can use to people watch or throw beads ..whatever your preference! The only complaint I would have is that this place was kind of ratchet. The crowd looked young (which is not necessarily a bad thing); let's just say it was a lot of twerking. While I was in this spot, I was posting a story on my Instagram Snapchat. The host (guy on the mic obviously looking over my shoulder) seen that I posted the wrong location and then starts telling me how could i post the wrong location - "why would I do that" " I'm bugging" and "who posts the wrong location"!? Although i told him SEVERAL TIMES I'm not from there-he still seems like he was feeling some type of way that I initially posted this on instagram as the wrong location. After that I just left"
"I went here recently for a special event and this is truly a lovely venue. It's actually connected to Barcadia and only open Thursday, Friday, and Saturdays. Its atmosphere is very cute! It consists of an Asian decor theme throughout the establishment from tables and statues found throughout. It is definitely a good place to have an event or bring groups if reserved in advance in my opinion. The cocktails menu was pretty impressive but also pretty expensive. If you don't plan to spend 12/15 for a cocktail, this is definitely not the place for you (Thankfully it was an open bar). The cocktails were exceptional. The cocktail that was worth a try was the delicious Tokyo Sour which consisted of Japanese Whiskey (The Yamazaki 12 Year), Lemongrass and Elder-flower. The bartender definitely made this cocktail with care 100% from scratch. Actually he did this for the whole group on EVERY specialty cocktail asked for. It was pretty amazing. The cocktails are amazing and I would go back on a special occasion. The staff was cool. Bartender was so sweet and even answered all my questions about the cocktails due to my fascination even in the crowded room. The bar-backs were even sweet and one impeccably dressed."
"We had an amazing time when visiting. The drag shows are long and packed with entertainers. The interior is small and can become cramped, but what party isn't?"
"This is a decent little spot and I have no complaints. On the night I was here I had the Kitchen Sink daiquiri. I have no idea what was in it, but it was really good and a medium was more than enough to satisfy my daiquiri craving. This is basically just a little bar where people can hang out and pass a good time. They have a drive thru, if you don't want to be bothered with going inside for your drink."
"An absolute gem of a find. Amazing and friendly employee who gave us some very good recommendations around the city"
"Great spot for after dinner drinks and we were fortunate to find a spot on the balcony because there is no inside drinking allowed these days due to COVID. Second floor, overlooking the insanity of Bourbon Street.Two-for-one specials meant that I now have two cold beers to drink. I'm not sad.[Review 14209 overall, 1531 of 2020, number 29 in Louisiana.]"
"Great spot if you enjoy dancehall type music, just be aware that this is the only type of music they play. The drinks are cheap and VERY strong, so you will certainly get a buzz in there. It is, however, quite smoky inside (even though there's a giant sign behind the bar that says "no smoking inside"). There's a food truck outside...I haven't tried but it's a nice touch for some late night food outside of the club."
"The vintage music videos makes this place a lot of fun! The space is nice and the large balcony is great. Lost of space and covid protocols in place. Definitely a fun spot to watch old music videos and dance!! Enjoy!"
"So on a regular night here, this is not my scene or my crowd, but I have to give it to them: it's a great space and all the staff were really nice last night. If you've never been, it also goes by the name of Generations Hall. I think the Metro is the club while Generations Hall is the space, but the party was thrown by "Metropolitan" on the flyer, so we'll roll with that. Finkle is Einhorn. Einhorn is Finkle. The crowd tends to be a more presumably posh group and they don't really get there till 11 in high heels and gel'd hair, and they're looking at everyone while sipping 'tinis (I'm exaggerating a little for effect on the 'tinis). Some of them are cordoned off in little VIP sections that remind me of roping off cattle in little pens. NOTHING wrong with gel or heels...they usually all look really great and clean as opposed to some of the dirty bums in the dives I love. Just not really my scene. But last night, was a pretty great time.We arrived around 7pm for the Crown Royal "Bag The Birds" viewing party there. I got a black and gold Crown Royal tshirt that isn't an XXXXL or a baby tee made for a Barbie Doll...I think it's gonna be my new favorite tee. So The Metro consists of multiple rooms and levels. This is probably why their clientele is so fit, all those stairs. The first room has a giant bar in the middle and the dance floor to the right of it, bathrooms on the other side of the bar. There was a buffet of finger sandwiches, mediocre jambalaya, bouncy meatballs as my friend referred to them as, and pretty good wings as well as a cheese tray, with three types: cheddar, pepper jack, and gross (not sure what flavor the gross was, I just did NOT like it and I kept getting it confused with the pepper jack). This buffet was complimentary and I greatly appreciated it, since the drinks they made were delightfully strong. In the middle room, where there is also a raised bar that you can watch down on people from had three corn hole games set up where our Stomper krewe (who were performing that night) and the gelled hair guys could compete to see who could get the corn bags in the hole the most. I played a decent game. In the very, very back though....was the piece de resistance. A jump jump house with four inflated pedestals and in the center...an inflated wrecking ball that you pushed at your opponents to knock them off of their inflated pedestals (the metaphorical comparison of knocking a Stomper off his inflated pedestal is hilarious to me). But watch out...those boys can throw a mean wrecking ball. This inflated jump jump of awesomeness was enough for me to score the party itself as a 5 star. For Metro's staff to put up with me and my reversion to an 8 year old was remarkable as well. It's a great, fun space and you can spread out quite a bit. The staff was pretty awesome and they had multiple bars open so it was never hard to get a drink. Oh yeah, and the game...TVs EVERYWHERE and no one can block them 'cause they're all pretty high up. I would say if an event is being hosted here, don't fear the usual crowd. They won't get there till 11."
"Venue is pretty sweet for smaller concerts and more of an indie vibe. Have been to a few shows here and the set-up is quite sweet. Two wide bars, an upstairs balcony, and bathrooms that are super clean.Staff is very friendly and easy to ask questions.Definitely don't mind coming to shows here."
"If you're at the right level of drunk, want to over pay for drinks, want to pay cover, and are ready to shout sweet Caroline with a bunch of sweaty white people, go for it!This place would have been fun when I was in college, but then again, I could not have afforded to drink here in college. Definitely not a must go to bar in the Big Easy."
