"Walked in to a nice display of French pastries. Wanted to see if we could order drinks but they only had coffee in the carafe and an out of order Coke vending machine. We wanted to sit in and eat our pastries because we didn't think they'd hold up in the heat in the car.Got a couple of Napoleon's, an éclair, a fruit tart and a strawberry shortcake. All was delicious and the fruit tasted so fresh. The facility is really set up for production and they must cater to businesses and special orders. Would definitely visit again."

"King cakes are everywhere around here, but the ones from Sugar Love are the best! Peak time is during the Mardi Gras season, but they make them year round, decorated for the seasons. They sell smaller chunks of King-Cake-on-a-stick that are fun. The staff are friendly. The store gets busy at times so if you are in a crunch you should call ahead. They will let you order pastries on line and schedule a pickup on some future date."

"This is the BEST place for cakes! I've been ordering cakes from Shay for years! She customizes cakes for any occasion makes them just the way you want them! My Favorite desert from the shop is definitely "Olite's Strawberry Delight" OMG!! You can't just have one piece! It's so delicious, you can taste the FRESH strawberries, it's just heavenly, you have to come back for more!! I am so happy that this shop is now open because I can come anytime to have my favorite dessert!!"

"This was a fun stop on the last night of my trip. The cute establishment was welcoming and we were thrilled with the offerings at this late at night. We brought a half dozen and 1 mini cheesecake. We tried 3 of the six: caramel; strawberry; and banana pudding. Of those three the banana pudding was the best. I liked the strawberry for the cake texture. The caramel was entirely too sweet and the cake itself wasn't good.We are flying back to California with a chocolate banana and pecan praline cupcake in my carry on. Lol"

"Bella Ladi supplied my wedding with four dozen cupcakes - vanilla cake with vanilla buttercream icing, and chocolate cake with chocolate cream icing. Needless to say, even with the caterer's cobbler and a snoball station, these cupcakes were gone immediately! The cake was moist, the icing was sweet but not cloying, and the price was right. They went so quick the bride didn't even have time to snag one!Hats off to the Bella' Slidell confections!"
