"I went in on February 3rd & purchased a dye for my hair they had 2 ladies n the store just standing around one act like they didn't want to help me look for a dye the other just standing there looking stupid then wants to say all that over 8 dollars while I'm digging for my change so I told the cashier you know what here take it out the dollar as the lady giving me mY change back she yells chaching. It didn't dorn on me till aFter I had gotten my Change no way to treat a customer will not be getting my service again! Having her kids there while on the clock talking bout going file her taxes & catching a bus to do them shame on you. & yes all that over 8.00!!"

"Consistently I can find something here. They sell loads of items such as hair products, human & synthetic hair, cosmetic jewelry, t-shirts, leggings, shoes, socks, cosmetic products just to name a few. While I find this store not as vast as others, I am able to find items that other beauty supply stores don't carry; hence my frequency.The prices are right & the owner of the store is friendly & super helpful with your selections. My only gripe is that sometimes while assisting you they will speak to one another in their native tongue. I find that to be rude in this particular situation. Honestly, I can really care less what they're saying, but it seems dubious when they speak to you in English and one another, although it's evident that they understand English, in their native language. Other than that, I've no concerns. The prices are fair. Hard to find items. And friendly staff make me a frequent flyer here."

"Beauty supply stores can often have a bad rep but H Beauty is the truth! No gimmick! The owner and his wife have always been pleasant but today was exceptional! I only get my braiding hair from this place. So I went in right when they opened to get my hair and other necessities. They have a nice inventory through the store. It's easy to shop, it's clean inside and it doesn't look hoarded. While I was shopping it started raining really hard. After paying for items, the owner grabbed your bags and his umbrella to walk me out! I was so shocked, he walked me to my car. As I was about to pull off, he ran back because I had dropped my change! It truly costs nothing to be a Good Samaritan."

What better way to pay it forward, give back to the community and support a local business than to go shopping on Small Business Saturday. I stopped into this establishment as recommended by a couple friends and I definitely was pleased. All of the products are either handmade or sourced from other small business owners. I love, love, love, love this!!!! This really makes me happy inside. To go into a small business and see her also helping the community with their products... It's just a circle of paying it forward. She has an array of products; products for your hair to personal hygiene products to organic teas to jewelry and even pet products, Fido can get his 'smell good' on as well. On this day, I couldn't help but touch everything in the shop, well maybe not everything, but 80% of the items NOW have my fingerprints on them, lol. And need I say, that I walked out with a bunch of great finds. I love that she takes the time to educate you about each and every product should you ask. And all of it makes sense, Yoni oils, sprays for men's "downstairs region", body butters, which are better than lotion because they are not water-based... See how I did that. I plan to go back and make more purchases and not just on small business Saturday, but on a regular basis. The products that she has are wholesome, the ingredients are very fragrant and invoking. "Kingdom is an accurate word to describe how massive this beauty supply is. What they lack in the usual neighborhood charm of the smaller beauty supply stores that we all know and love, they make up for by having just about any product you could possibly need. Edge control? I haven't explored their hair options for braiding, extensions, or wigs, but the walls are FILLED so I'm sure you can find what you're looking for here. I love the large selection of brands and product lines for hair care. Nine times out of ten, I'm able to find exactly what I need and something new to try along the way. Honestly, the options can be a little overwhelming if you aren't going in with an idea of what you're looking for--but if you're experienced in this hair store/beauty supply game then you know what's up. It's a small place, but is well organized and doesn't feel cramped. Also, everything is all natural and with my sensitive skin, that's a huge plus. The prices are very competitive for a spa type place and they run specials all the time! Today I was able to pick up 4 large bath bombs for $20, and since my daughter needed a birthday gift for a friend, this was a great option. And the scents are amazing!!! Today they had a mint scented Mardi Gras bomb with a baby inside! We didn't buy it as it was a pricier item and wasn't included in the sale bombs, but what a great idea. The People's Choice bombs today smelled amazing and were included in the sale. Score.They make and sell, bath bombs, candles, soaps, lotions, scrubs, lip balm and lots of other luxurious goodies. Today the lady working the register explained to me that this store was born out of a mom's desire to make sure her daughter used only natural products, as she had been very sick as a child. The store is like many hair stores, but what makes it stand out is the large array of products it has, for ethnic hair. Beauty express has everything you could imagine would ever be in an ethnic hair store, from relaxers, to edge control, to kanekelon hair extensions, to Malasian remy! One issue I have though is the accessibility of the various hair products, as they're all located on the periphery along the wall, behind the counter, and you have to ask for assistance to get anything down to take a closer look. The place is cluttered, but that's to be expected, since how else are you going to display and feature the wide array of black hair moisturizers? If you know what you're looking for prior to coming in, you're all set, if you don't, you might get a bit lost in the madness. Overall, Beauty Express has everything I think I could ever need from a hair store for my hair, and the staff are friendly and willing to help!"
