"It's Pho time! I dipped into Boomtown Casino for a little slots n such. I wasn't particularly hungry, but as I left, I could smell the enticing aroma pf pho. The actual restuarant is closed, so they have set up sort of temporary, pop up type station. Only a few food options are offered right now.Once they told me they could pack my Pho to go, I was sold. Boomtown still allows smoking..GROSS...and I don't like eating in a smoky venue so I was glad I was able to take it to go. I ordered the beef brisket pho. It was sliced a lil weird to me but it was VERY flavorful. My sprouts didn't seem super fresh but they were fine when added to the broth. Everything was nicely packed and the taste of everything was really good. Jalapeno peppers were really fresh and packed a punch. This was a nice alternative to all of the heavier food options offered in Boomtown."
"Great food great service. Larger portions. I got the shrimp bento box with fried rice. The rice was meh, I think it would've been better with plain rice or noodles. Definitely was enough for two meals (for me)."

"Love this place! Been eating here for years now. They have musubi!! Their bowls I recommend with any of the meats / shrimp offered. All combinations of the bowl are delicious. The owners here are so kind. Fast service. Plenty of seating inside. The Maui burger is also really tasty!!"
"I went on the weekend and order off the menu. It was good. The food was fresh and well prepared. The owner was working the place and we talked a good bit. Found out a lot of the food on the menu comes from Thailand. Went back a couple of days later and tried the buffet. It was ok. And had a great selection of food. I'm just not a big fan of buffets"
"After a long day of shopping, I wanted sushi, my friend wanted Chinese. Going back and forth we then decided on this place. Japanese, Chinese, and Thai food all in one place! Doesn't look like much when you reach the parking lot but inside is so nice and clean. We were seated right away. Everything we ordered were so basic but full of flavors! We love flavorful food! Presentations were on point too! Check the photos!"
"We enjoyed our trip to LUVI. Had dinner at 7 pm on a Saturday with a reservation and they were steady the whole time! It's a pretty small spot, so I would definitely recommend a resy. The food was very good. Everything had great flavors, our favorite was the Monkey Snack! Who would've thought to put banana with fish?! A genius! Fruit & salmon definitely hit the spot. Unique dish! The cucumbers were very tasty - such a simple dish but truly made to perfection. The sauce was awesome. The bam bam chicken was also very good! It reminded me of chicken katsu. I liked the sauce too, but it wasn't the best I ever had. Both of our drinks were super good & strong! I loved the variety of flavors and mixtures of the flavors. Yum! The service was pretty good too. Overall, I would recommend LUVI, had a great time, but I wouldn't say it was my favorite restaurant or as memorable as some others I've been to which is why I give 4/5. Just missed the wow factor.."
"I was really surprised, but the portion size is pretty good. The cut must be chicken thighs, because it was pretty juicy, but it's definitely dark meat. It also has a pinch of carrots and cucumbers in the bowl as well. The food took about 10 or 15 minutes to come out. They have some indoor seating, so I ate at the countertop that's at the window/wall. Best part is that it's on a side street off of Tulane, so no paid parking. Yes!!!"
"The best sushi in Hammond always spot on delicious. One of the best sushi restaurants around if not the best in Louisiana. Definitely recommend the American Dream roll, Crunchy Roll w/shrimp, Dynamite Roll, Softshell crab hand roll, Ultimate Roll, and Nagoya Roll all excellent."
"This is such a cool place and a unique experience! Especially for Halloween season. The staff is so sweet and detailed in explaining the menu and the meaning behind the dishes. You can tell they really do care about the work they're doing and the customers' experience. I love how every item has an intention behind it. Out of everything I tried, the Protection Noodz were hands down my favorite! It comes with a lit butter candle that melts over the food. 10/10 I also had the bubble cocktail, The Cauldron, Teach a Girl to Fish and Ube cake with avocado ice cream for desert. The interior is very aesthetic and they also do tarot readings."
"The hubby & I visited for date nite last weekend and I was pleasantly surprised. The place is not too small but not large. They could stand to dim the lights a bit to create a more chill, slightly romantic vibe but it's a cute spot. Everyone was friendly & attentive without being bothersome. Now, the food... DELICIOUS The Drunken Noodles were excellent. My husband isn't a fan of Asian food but he, too, enjoyed his food. Those little donuts are perfect little fluffy pillows of yumminess. Being that they are basically beignets, more powdered sugar is in order and, for me, cookies & creme is a strange choice for ice cream flavors. We will definitely be returning soon to try more things."
"The egg rolls have a delectable sweet flavor to them. The honey chicken and general Tso chicken were both mouth watering good."
"Came here to catch happy hour (ends at 6)Got a lemon drop martini for $6. IIt was really good! For happy hour, rolls under 10$ are 25% off so I was able to grab a crunchy roll (tempura shrimp) and a rajun Cajun (friend alligator) plus the drink for under $20. Can't beat that!Next time I would ask for the rajun Cajun without the sauce as imo the sauce was too sweet and didn't go well with the fried alligator. Other than that everything was great and I'll definitely be back!"

ive dined here a few times but recently we ordered 2 party size trays of combination fried rice and asia wings with butter garlic sauce for a christmas party. it was a big hit for 80 dollars you can feed almost 30 peeps.seating is pretty limited so i suggest you order the hot and sour tamarind soup and twin lobster with either black pepper or ginger-scallion sauce to go which is also a great deal for $50.95

I've been eyeing this restaurant and waiting for them to open since I frequent this area for weekly grocery shopping. They FINALLY did a soft opening this week and I'm so excited to try them! I'm a sucker for teriyaki! Portion sizes are very promising. Walking in and it a bright open space with clear menu on the screen at the register. Tables to the left and the cooking station to the right. They offer a self serve area. You can also see the screen in the back where your order is! They have a list of additional sauces but I didn't get a photo of it. Can't wait to go back and try some of the rolls. The food was a bit bland but nothing a bit of soy sauce and sriracha can't fix. There was enough for the Mr. To take to work the next day too!

I've never taken a photo of my food from here because it never last long enough. If I want Bulgogi beef in BR, this is where I get it. PERIODT. I haven't found any place better. I'm sure the whole menu is bussin, but I've only tried the bulgogi and Korean beef short ribs with rice and steamed veggies. I have tried the macaroni salad which was okay I'm just not a fan of the dish in general. Again, it never last long because it's so good. My ex-husband was raised in Hawaii and swears by the test of the menu and it's authenticity to what he considers home.

The food at Mimi's is amazing. The service is also very good and attentive. Although I've enjoyed their buffet, I would recommend trying the menu items as well. The portions are generous and obviously fresh. The ambiance of the restaurant is nice and I found it to be exceptionally clean. Always a plus!

We loved LUVI!We ordered:1) feed me a la carte: this is the chef's choice sashimi which was salmon with a crispy chili oil and pooped sunflower seeds. The fish was SO fresh and the toppings were perfect complements.2) mala holla: wow!!!! This was my favorite. Very finely shredded beef with a delicious savory umami sauce.3) curry dumplings: this was my friends favorite. The dumplings were SO fresh and flavorful which was a delightful surprise since the soup is a bit more mild. We added some chili sauce as somebody else recommended and that added a nice spice.4) yellowtail collar: really tasty! If you haven't have yellowtail collar, try it! The sauce was particularly good.5) black sesame ice cream: probably my least favorite, but still delicious.Seems like you can't go wrong here!!

Great food, service was okay, ambiance was what they could make of it. The flavors of the food, and the visuals were a two for one. They definitely made up for it in the product that I came for and that was all that mattered at the time. It's really small inside and they made great use of the available square footage for seating purposes. It's definitely a grab and go kind of place. So calling and ordering ahead is probably best. If you're into the whole bao movement this is definitely a must try. If not they still have something for you to try. You'll be surprised, and satisfied it will be a great collaboration for your taste buds.

"The food was delicious! The new owners really took it up a level. The inside decor is more inviting, the Shanghai Pop music playing was fun and all the customers were loving it. Will definitely be back!"
"My husband, our aunt and I came to eat here last night. It was my first time. It's smaller than I expected, but it had a nice ambiance to it. The hostess was nice and seated us right away. And our orders were taken quickly. I had trouble deciding between a few things. I ended up going with the kung pao chicken. It had the right amount of spice and it filled me up. The orange chicken was very good too. My husband ordered the hunan chicken. He didn't care for how the chicken was diced up so small, but he liked the vegetables that came with it. The only fault we had with anything was that we couldn't seem to get our check in the end. We kept waiting and waiting. Our waitress kept passing and not coming over. And it was only one other family there. That took over 30 mins. Overall though, food was good and I would eat here again."
"I will have to remove the best sushi in Slidell crown from the other restaurant and give it to Koi's. Their sushi is fresh and delicious, but also reasonably priced. There is a variety of rolls to choose from and they are generous with their portions. My favorite roll is the Angel Roll: tuna, snow crab, avocado, with eel sauce on top, known as a Metairie Roll at most spots in New Orleans. I also enjoy the Supa Dupa Roll when I am visiting with my mother, she only eats non raw rolls. The name should let you know it is a huge roll, boy is it ever, I would suggest getting it made into a small roll. Finally we truly enjoy their egg rolls, a must try with their homemade duck sauce. This is a great restaurant off of Airport Rd. in Slidell. The restaurant is always clean and the staff friendly. Note: They are closed on Mondays. Definitely my new sushi spot in Slidell. It is called Koi's Asian Cuisine, so know that there is something for Everyone to eat. Until we me again."
"They have really great food and soup. And really good bubble tea . The owner is always there. Really good quality food"
"Strange place... food was decent, fries were great. Service was great...but overall, kind of over priced. Ambiance was off. We were the only people in the restaurant, but the because of the way it's laid out, you wouldn't be able to tell if anyone else is eating there unless you see them walking in. There's a bar in the back, but you can't see it. Cristian contemporary music was playing (which I applaud) but it just added to the strangeness of this dining experience. The menu was choppy and confusing. The appetizers were in the back, and many of the entrees I'd like to have tried are only available from 4-8:30 pm... I hope they make it, I hope every local entrepreneur makes it, and also we need more choices in Houma. But based on today's experience, I don't see that happening."
"We started with a small ginger dressing salad that came with the chicken Yakisoba Noodles instead of a soup offering. We also had the gyoza and the torpedo coconut shrimp. Both came with small dipping sauces, one sweet and one spicy and savory. My wife didn't like the spicy one, too spicy for her. I had the unsweetened ice tea with lemon and my wife had a root beer. The decor was Thai framed pictures with elephants, and there was a television playing videos of a sad looking girl singing in either Thai or Cambodian. The soup was Thai familiar. I had the chicken curry with fried rice instead of steamed. It was all good, and a welcome change from Chinese."
"Truly enjoyed this new Thai spot inside Brewsky's bar. The owners are really friendly and the owner was the one who cooked our food. Delicious food. Suprisingly good variety of Thai dishes. You order on kiosk and then they will bring food to your table. We loved everything we ordered. This will be one of my regular spots now!"
"The smell of Glade Plug-Ins was nauseating & ruined the meal. Pls address the root of the smell instead of trying to cover it up."
"My husband and son discovered this restaurant when they were in New Orleans without me but they couldn't stop saying how much they enjoyed it and more importantly it was one of the very few places that accommodate dietary restrictions such as vegan, dairy free, vegetarian and more.A couple months after their trip, my hubby and I were back in town and I was excited to visit here. Sometimes I get nervous if my husband over-hypes a place because I get let down but not this time. I was pleasantly surprised and enjoyed an amazing meal. I mentioned to our adorable waitress that I am dairy-free (tough in NOLA) and don't eat beef. Not only was she ready to recommend dishes but she knew all sorts of substitutions and then she came out with papers that address all kinds of food restrictions and allergies. THIS PLACE WAS READY !The menu.... oh my goodness, the menu is unique and creative and delicious; like combining then local typical cuisines with asian. And if what you order isn't enough, they bring samples of other dishes for you to try ( I assume they make a dish for one table and have extra, perhaps). AND they didn't forget my food issues; when they brought out a taste of something, they had a substituted dish for me. They brought my hubby a sample of their version of a beignet and for me a beautiful pickled radish shaving with other veggies; VERY THOUGHTFUL ! I loved their SATSUMA GLAZED OCTOPUS with heirloom carrots, peach amba, crispy lentils and my husbands favorite dish was the SPAGHETTI WITH COCONUT CRAB Broth braised leeks, Louisiana blue crab. We loved all the other stuff we got too. MAYPOP is a MUST !"
"My mom wasn't feeling well so I suggested we get pho because it usually makes me feel better when I'm sick. I decided to give this restaurant a try after a friend recommended it. It's tucked away at the end of the strip near Walmart. As we entered we were greeted by the cashier who seemed to be running the restaurant. There were two other tables occupied which seemed like regulars. The restaurant was a decent size and was clean. I ordered voodoo eggrolls as an appetizer. It consisted of crawfish, sausage, and cheese. There wasn't much filling in the eggrolls. I wasn't a fan of the taste either. The cashier later asked how did I like the eggrolls and mentioned that they were a new item. It tasted like maybe mint was thrown in it. My mom and I both ordered brisket pho. The broth was bland and we didn't much brisket. The service was good but the food was just okay."
"Came her after work with a co-worker and cannot wait to return again after realizing the location change. We ordered two clear soups, mine with extra toppings and two rolls. I can only recall adding asparagus to mine for added crunch and that the role, chic atmosphere and the server was amazing! Everything was FRESH! I encourage everyone to take a visit and also comment if you find the roles I took photos of."
"I'm gonna update my last review because Streetside has improved since my last review. Sushi has been correct with no issues. Soup issue was corrected the last time I got it without having to mention anything. So, I have eaten here several times since and it's been excellent."
"This is a surprising gem in St. Bernard Parish. It has some typical dishes, like burgers and fried seafood. It has some international dishes, like quesadillas and Cuban sandwiches. And it has some interesting fusion dishes, like the "Sushiritto" and Cajun edamame.I've eaten here a couple times now and haven't had a bad dish. The portion sizes are maybe a bit smaller than other dining options in Da Parish, but I still usually have a small to-go box at the end."
"This place is it! They have great prices and the quantity of food is so perfect for your buck! Sushi is sooooooo delicious! Everything I have ever eaten here has been great. I have no complaints!"
"I am not sure how long this place has been opened but I decided to give it a try. I walked in Sunday night after pool and was thrilled not to see a crowd since its a relatively small building. I want to be as safe as possible with covid still going around. A lady greeted us and took our orders. I noticed two young boys sitting in the front bickering at one another. I assumed they were her children. The food came out relatively fast. The kids were helpful by serving the plates. We ordered monkey brains(not actual brains!), egg rolls, chicken lo mein, and lobster hibachi. Amazing food! I am getting hungry just thinking about it. When we were leaving I did try to tell the lady bye and she didn't respond. I am hoping our next visit is friendlier."
"The food is good but it's kinda expensive compared to other Chinese restaurants in town."
"This was my first time trying Kyoto. It was also my first time eating a deep fried roll. They have a meat seat up for to go orders. There is a window where they put your food to grab it so no contact is made. This huge roll is under $12. It has crab, cream cheese, crawfish in soy paper and deep fried. I'm a huge fan of cream cheese so I enjoyed it. Cream cheese is the prominent taste when biting into it, followed by snow crab. It's covered with spicy mayo and eel sauce. It was filling. I would get again!"
"Le Saigon is a good choice of Asian cuisine in Hammond. The fusion of Vietnamese and Korean is unique and mostly everything is house made from their sauces to side dishes. Their food is pretty good with a large menu to choose from. My favorite items so far are the Honey Sriracha Glazed Chicken, Bang Bang Shrimp Lettuce Wrap, Combination Vermicelli, and Pho Dac Biet. I had their KBBQ once for dinner and it was a fun and delicious experience. I have always wanted to try their banh mi but it has never been available since I have eaten there for the past year. Overall, a good Asian spot for lunch or dinner in the area. The availability of Korean BBQ in the Northshore is awesome. There is already a scarcity of KBBQ in New Orleans."
"Can't say enough good things about MoPho - an excellent example of fusing Southern and Asian food styles to create something unique and delicious. The table tried several dishes, and all were excellent: the Hangover Pho ($17), Shrimp and Grits ($21), Crispy Chicken Vindaloo Sandwich ($17), and the Glazed Pork Belly Bowl ($16). You will be most happy with any of these. We also tried two buns, the Creole Tomato Bun ($10) and the Brisket Buns ($11). Delicious, and the Brisket was amazing. Service was friendly, attentive and fast (Thank You, Dorothy, Great Job!). The restaurant was clean, modern, casual and comfortable, with indoor and outdoor / patio seating. Restrooms were clean and stocked. Overall, A greafun and relaxing Dining Experience. Five well-deserved Stars."
"The food is amazing. The service is fast along with a friendly face. The ambiance is subtle, chilled, and relaxing."
"I was so excited to try this place out. Upon walking in, I noticed that it was small and clean enough. I didn't use the restrooms so I can't speak about that. I ordered veggie eggrolls and pineapple fried rice with tofu. The egg rolls were delicious. They were fried perfectly with the right amount of filling. The pineapple rice was good. Some of the rice was a tad crunchy but still tasty. I truly enjoyed the tofu that came with the rice. Unfortunately, they lost a star because there were chunks of chicken in my rice. I don't eat chicken at all, so this was disappointing. The server quickly got the rice and comped it from the meal. She and the cook were apologetic. If I return, I'm sticking to the egg rolls."
"We ordered dinner from here for delivery for DoorDash. We ordered at 7:50 not realizing they closed at 8. They still made our order and had it to us in less than 30 minutes! We got the General Tso chicken and shrimp and vegetables. It was really good! We'll definitely order from here again"
"I wanted to update my 2013 review. My comment that the place is pricey is a little misleading. It is a little pricey for an everyday lunch, but the price matches the quality. I have eaten here several times since my last review. This charming restaurant is underappreciated. My recent lunch was outstanding. I typically order 2 appetizers and did so again, and I was stuffed. I started with the beggars purses then ordered a Oyster Rockefeller variation that was delicious. The kitchen did a magnificent job on the tempura oysters. Yelpers have under reviewed this place. It is clearly a 4+ star establishment."
