The crawfish fried rice is worth checking out. I would also recommend the shrimp. Not fancy, but good eats.

A hidden gem in New Orleans! I've loved everything I've tried from C & A. I highly recommend the gumbo, baked catfish plate, and any po-boys! Their crawfish is super juicy and big when in season. I've eaten here for years and I would recommend anyone to check out C & A!

I have visited this establishment a while back and my experience was not good. After hearing locals talk about it I decided to try it again. To my surprise it is still awful. I ordered the broccoli and shrimp with rice and it was terrible. The broccoli taste like lighter fluid. WHY? The rice was old. While waiting, I observed that boiled shrimp is sold for 12.59 lb. Boiled shrimp is being sold around the city for 7 to 8 dollars a lb. This is taking advantage of locals who are not able to get to other areas. SHAME ON YOU. SHAME ON THOSE WHO CONTINUE TO SUPPORT THEM. I will never buy from here again.

The portion size was huge. The vegetable fried rice was pretty flavorful. The egg roll was meaty and filling. Customer service was non-existent. They stocked my bag with soy sauce and duck sauce. However, I wanted sweet and sour sauce on the side. The lady charged me a dollar extra after I paid. She didn't even ring it up, she just took the dollar and gave me the sauce. Not a super big deal, but noticeable. All in all, I enjoyed my food.

Honestly, I think they've improved. Crawfish were on the smaller side but the seafood was seasoned SO well! Even the potatoes taste a little better!

I got a shriml po boy amidst the post-mardi gras comedown crowds, and it came out hot fast and delicious. Everybody chowin down on seafood seemed pretty appetizing, it was a bit of a madhouse. I'd love to return someday I am still dreaming of them shrimp.

Just had my first crawfish of the season here and it was definitely different but amazing.A young lady named Shona gave us the best old school New Orleans service I have had since I moved home (I want to meet her parents and say thank you good) .The crawfish we're just spicy enough and had all kind of different melted butters, styles and add ons my girl had been her before and knew what to do , it was a bit pricey but it is the beginning of the season ..... totally recommend

Roast beef poor boy and the shrimp/catfish seafood platter (with double shrimp fried rice) both AMAZING! Ordering = easy. Prices = reasonable. Service = top notch. The restaurant is spacious and clean. My husband and I were first timers during our last visit to New Orleans a few months ago and we will definitely be back as repeat customers!

I've been to C&A Seafood many times over the years and it's almost never disappointed me. As soons as you walk in, the cashiers greet you very welcomingly and your stomach will definitely growl at the smell of all of the seafood. The prices may seem high, but it's definitely worth it for the quality and large portion sizes. The gumbo is definitely one of the best in the city and a must-try when you go to C&A Seafood!
