I'll give some facts in a nutshell:- Great show.- Amazing outfits.- Talented performance.- Relaxed ambiance. I'm obsessed with "Burlesque" and silly of me, I thought it will be as spectacular as the movie. It wasn't, but still it was a festive incredible and one hell of a show!Three and half Yelps!

Came to see the Bustout Burlesque show which was held at the concert stage behind the Foundation Room. It was really entertaining. It featured about 6 different burlesque dancers with various costumes & themes (Tinkerbell, S&M, vintage lingerie, French maid, etc) who stripped down to their tassels. They also had a cowboy whip expert who was pretty incredible and accurate with his whips named Chris McDaniel. The show had an emcee who was funny and dressed like a 1920's traveling salesman, who also did magic tricks. The shows were entertaining and what you'd expect to see at a burlesque show, the stage was big enough to accommodate the shows with no distraction. Audience seats were simple folding chairs and didn't look particularly comfortable, while the front row had tables. My friends and I were able to sit in the balcony area on benches with more freedom to walk around. The girls were really pretty and talented, but after an hour we were ready to leave and hit Frenchman Street. It was all right, but not something I'd sign up for again. Maybe burlesque just isn't my thang.

So I was one of the people who had free tickets for general admission. I brought my girlfriend and we had a blast! Yes, we waited in a line outside in the rain. Yes, the drinks were overpriced.Yes, we had to stand and watch the show.Yes, there was a huge group of guys next to us who came to socialize and be obnoxious instead of watching the show BUTthe host was hilarious, there was a guy who got himself out of a straight jacket due to being incredibly flexible, the woman who sang had an incredible voice and got members of the crowd involved and the women dancing looked amazing in their outfits...tasteful but sexy. The women were beautiful and brought their own personality on display. Some were thin and others thick and the crowd loved the body positivity regardless. I would have easily paid to watch this but again, I got my tickets for free so any complaints I would have had were out the window. The show was a fun time and I'd go back!

What a night with an incredible cast and crew. From the producer to the team managing tickets. Enjoyed ourselves tremendously and would recommend the show to anyone - wether your popping your burlesque cherry or have seen a few! The MC, GoGo is perfect for this crew. This is not for the easily offended and get ready for outrageous funny nasty dirty entertainment! Perfect for Nee Orleans visit!

Least entertaining burlesque show I've seen in Nola. The girls looked miserable the entire time and didn't appear to enjoy what they were doing at all. Go to Gravier Street Social or Burgundy Burlesque for a much better show.

There is just something about Bustout Burlesque. This isn't your typical burlesque. This is the show to check out if you are more interested in "classic" burlesque than "neo" burlesque. All of the dancers have gorgeous custom made glittering costumes and they perform to a live band. Watching them, you get the feeling that you are back on Bourbon St. in the 50's watching a world famous performer.I would say that Bustout is a "must" for tourists and locals alike.

This show was a lot of fun! The dancers were great and really in to what they do. Definitely a lot more revealing than I was expecting but that doesn't bother me. The host was great and not cheesy like some hosts of shows can be. Definitely go check this out if you want a change from drinking on Bourbon Street.

This is not a strip-club, but rather burlesque. Accompanied with a live band, pretty ladies strip down to next to nothing. Expect comedy, tassel twirling and music. The production values are high, the performers are polished and all in all it's a fine night out every now and then.

Save your time for better venues, and there are few less worthy. Got our tickets for free from PNO Concierge at our hotel. Waited for an hour to get in at 8:20 then waited for another hour for the show to start with a really low grade MC. BTW, free tickets mean you must pay to sit. The 90 minute wait time seems designed keep marks buying overpriced and under-mixed drinks and Chicago food in NOLA and begging to buy seats. Standing room only for almost anyone in "General Admission".Love NOLA. House of Blues was a waste of time. Watched 1 and 1/2 performers before my date and I left (unanimous and joint decision). House of Blues is on the never again list for this traveler.
