Burgundy Bar at The Saint Hotel

I had such a common fantastic experience at the burgundy bar at the same hotel. I was staying upstairs and me and my girlfriend really wanted to come down for a drink and a charcuterie board and of course they had high and drinks that we honestly couldn't find anywhere else in the French quarters. this bar is definitely up-and-coming and I strongly feel that if they did a little bit more advertising, they would probably have a larger crowd but I'm not sure that they're aiming for that. This is definitely the most upscale bar in the area and I'm not sure that they're trying to attract the type of folks that come to the French quarters to party.It's a super classy bar they even have this giant gorgeous chandelier and a piano underneath so I can honestly envision this place getting extra classy when they have the right talent performing. our bartender was the sweetest woman, and we truly appreciated how she was. She nailed our drinks and listened to me when I said I didn't want my drink to be strong. I highly recommend this location to everybody that drinks even cost a lot. We ended up getting four and didn't even surpass $50.

We were staying at the Ritz (next door) and were looking for a nice cocktail bar (a "real" cocktail bar, similar to a speakeasy, where all juices/mixers are made fresh, daily and they solely use topshelf spirits, and a unique/interesting list) so we came here... The place looks incredible and looks like it would have a great vibe, if only the vibe were better! The bartender was bored and playing on his cell phone the entire time we were there. We only stayed for one drink, which is sad, because they have a nice cocktail list and it's even set up in a cool manner (7 deadly sins). The décor is seductive, playful, devilish and fun and it's in a really nice hotel!It's sad that it's so boring in there, after we had our drink we left, went to the Sazerac Bar in the Waldorf and it was standing room only in there... bartenders and energy was so much higher!This place is seriously on the verge of something great... Get some decent management and enthusiastic bartenders and it'll also be standing room only!

This bartender wouldn't serve us! We (3 BLACK professional women) stopped by before an event to have one drink before our show. We had to sanitize and wipe down the counter ourselves. After 20 minutes of being ignored and having everyone else that came in after us served, he finally comes over to take our order. He could sense our unspoken frustration and after giving our order, he responded "no thanks". He proceeded to serve everyone else who didn't look like us. You don't need to read between the lines, clearly the color of our skin was an issue. We submitted a complaint with the GM. Don't come here!!! It ain't for us!!!!

Our stay at the Saint was great. The bar was very nice and aesthetically pleasing. The concept behind the hotel and bar was really cool. Highly suggest going and trying their cocktails. Very good.

Thank goodness the M Bistro next door at the Ritz Carlton is open and accessible. Walk past the Burgundy Bar, through the front doors, go left on Canal Street. Take the elevator to the third floor. M Bistro is to your left. You are welcome.

Very sexy vibe and the cocktails are something to rave about. Based on the Seven deadly sins this bar bring flavors to your spirit of choice. Light bites are also available give your palate a surprise and try their various options.

This place is so swanky and sexy-definitely the perfect spot for good drinks and a fun date night! I haven't been when they have had live entertainment but I'm looking forward to going when they do.Drinks were standard, good. Service at the bar was fine, they didn't have any cocktail servers on the floor.Overall really enjoyed this place for a swanky date night or intimate get together with friends.

A hidden gem! So happy to have found this place. Decent drinks, great ambiance, comfortable seating! Definitely will visit again.
