At Burger Nerds the Queso Burger isn't here to play nice--it's a full-on flavor uprising. This bad boy smashes juicy patties with a generous helping of melty, defiant queso that gives bland burgers the middle finger. It's the kind of burger that makes you question all your life choices about low-carb diets. And then there are the Brussel sprouts. Yes, you heard that right! Crunchy little anarchists that crash the party with a tangy kick, flipping off your taste buds with every bite.(Side note: I hate brussel sprouts in general and I was converted after eating them)

Ordered pick up. We both had the classic with fries.Solid burgers. Good crispy smash to the patty. Fries were somewhat akin to a Rally's fry. My dining companion had a side of queso to dip. He reports that it was good queso. Not my speed.He definitely came home smelling like a smoke stack. That is understandable since this is a new establishment. They will get the ventilation worked out soon, I'm sure. Great fast, casual addition to the area.

I finally got to try Burger Nerds! Im so glad they opened up a spot in Metairie( next to CVS near Bonnabel). We wanted the whole experience since this was our first time so we ordered a single & a double signature queso burger, brussel sprouts and loaded fries. Burger- loved the crispy edges, soft potato bun, perfect size(I ate the single) and the queso added the perfect craveable touch. I was actually skeptical of queso on a burger that their recipe is awesome. Now all I think about is that queso!Brussels- obsessed! Even our 3 yr old couldn't stop eating them. Fries- As a self appointed fry connoisseur, they were pure perfection. Just the right size and amt of toppings. Have your fork ready!Customer service- this puts them over the top honestly. Its an open kitchen and everyone was smiling and genuinely happy the entire time. Super accommodating and made us feel appreciated. We will be regulars because of this and the fact I cant stop thinking about the delicious burger. Sorry Bubs, I'm in love with someone else.

Best burgers in town! The burgers were flavorful, incredibly juicy and absolutely delicious. The staff are total rockstars - when we called to check their closing time, they told us they'd stay open to take our order. We got caught in a parade and thought we'd miss out, but they patiently waited for us! The only regret I have is not getting a double burger instead of a single and ordering more fries. The single is definitely filling, but I didn't want it to end!

I love a good smash burger and Burger Nerds has quickly become one of my favorites and must haves when I'm in the neighborhood. I love the queso burger. All of the ingredients tasted so fresh! The loaded fries and brussel sprouts are also phenomenal. Get the nerd sauce on everything. Trust. The people working are always super nice and I love supporting a local business.

Food was good. Burgers were tasty. Fries were crisp. I ordered online and by the time I reached the store 14 minutes later, the food was being bagged up. Good burgers at an okay price. Would visit again.

Easily the best smash burger in the city. No longer have to drive to New Orleans for an excellent smash burger at an affordable price. The owners are Latino and the food is HALAL‼ and the staff is young, friendly, and welcoming. The single patty with the Brussel sprouts side made me very satisfied. Tore it up like it's our last meal!

Burger Nerds has excellent service. the food did not take very long at all and their is entertainment inside. the only I guess "downside" is the Smokey Atmosphere but that's because you can the grill is behind the counter and you can see your food being cooked. The food is so tasteful it makes just sit there and wonder how. The crazy part they have more than burgers. They have queso and loaded fries, loaded Brussel sprouts, and like a a Philly cheesesteak think but you have buffalo chicken on it if you want. Overall they restaurant is so good I would give it 10 stars if I could.-Mazin

Was picking up a to go order for my dad that he placed online (no one was answering the phone) and went to pick up the order only to find out it had been cancelled because they were out of queso! The lady then asked me if I wanted to place another order and I had to go outside to ask my Dad what he wanted instead. When I came back in I wanted to clarify that they were out of queso and the lady at the counter gave me attitude when I asked-- saying "we aren't out of queso NOW! That's what I was trying to tell you!" I then proceeded to wait another 20 minutes for my new order to be ready. Had a bite of his queso burger and it was good but not worth the price. I had a couple of French fries and they were mid.Not worth the disappointing experience.
