Bullard Seafood and Grill

This place does a lot well. The service is good. The line is clean and well-maintained. But I'm writing this for one reason, let's talk about that gumbo. Perfect roux with a base level of spiciness someone would find medium hot, though I think of it as a good medium. It contains seafood and meats, and somebody smashed up a blue crab and threw it in there. You get a little pause while eating gumbo to pick apart the crab bits. Rice is served in the dish or on the side. They also sell it by the gallon and every time I serve it, everyone asks where I got it. This place is my secret and now yours too.

Disappointed in the limited menu cafeteria setting. Establishment no longer utilizes the grill, stopped selling poboys...WTH?!? Looking for seafood; something NOLA is known for, thiis is not your go-to place. If you're looking for a neighborhood to-go eatery and no real expectations this is definitely your spot. I must commend they do have NOLA favs: chee wees, Zapp's chips, Mr Big Shot sodas. No alcohol, seating is minimal sin e everyone seems to do orders.

Their baked spaghetti is to die for! Every time I'm in town, I always stop by to pick up a plate for the family. The workers there are also very friendly which is a plus. I highly recommend it.

The only reason why I'm not giving Bullard seafood 5 Stars is because of the miscommunication and lack of shrimp in "shrimp pasta". I kept seeing their advertisements on Instagram so while I was in the East I said let's try this place. Now let's explain the miscommunication first, upon me entering this establishment I went to what I thought was the beginning of the line. Several people had walked in after me and was ordering before me. So I ask the lady where do the line start and she pointed to the door. Then I asked for shrimp pasta only to get home with 1 tiny shrimp in a bed of watery sauce. I paid $25 for 2 plates. I could have went to a 5 star restaurant with that money. Then you have one lady sitting in the back just giving orders. Ma'am you see there's a crowd, why don't you get your lazy aaa up and come help. Will I be back? Only time will tell...

Hot food bar is always delicious and great for on the go meals. I used to go often! Throughout the year i've called to place orders and they've said they were out of this or that. I finally found out they aren't just out they have changed to just a hot bar only. No more poboys or fries! We need more places with good poboys and fries in the East. If they were to bring them back, our dealerships would utilize them a lot more for weekly orders.

One of my favorite neighborhood go to eats. My favorites are the Stuffed Bell Peppers, Cheese Spaghetti, Broccoli and their Creamy White Beans. They pile on the food. I usually have enough to eat twice from one plate.

Good food at a reasonable price, very friendly staff and efficient operations. You get a main and 2 sides, dessert and drinks are extra. Enjoyed the shrimp fried rice, egg rolls, bourbon chicken, shrimp pasta, baked spaghetti, and brownie. Too much for one sitting, so take it home or to a hotel. Would recommend going for lunch or early dinner.

Good food well-prepared; no frills. Skip the broccoli, weirdly slimy! You'd think an Asian place would do a quickly flash-fried version...

We ordered from Bullard Seafood and Grill for a family gathering, and they did not disappoint! Though it was a large order (shrimp fried rice, fried fish, fried chicken, pasta), food was fresh, hot and delicious. We called in advance, and they had our order ready on time for pick up. Highly recommend using them for events. They are fairly priced, I believe family owned (?), and they also had a variety of food options . When I picked up the food, the restaurant was busy too which is always a good sign.

Bullard Seafood and Grill is a hidden gem in New Orleans. Highly recommend the gumbo, shrimp pasta, and baked spaghetti. Tried a few different things this time like the lomein which were also great! If you're in the area go try it!
