Buggin' Out Boils

Casey and Tyler came out to the house we rented in the Marigny to celebrate our friend's 50th birthday party. Before we even got to the food, these guys were super friendly and hospitable and explained their whole setup. They let us see the crabs and oysters they brought before the boil even started. I even got to have a couple of delicious raw oysters before they hit the grill.Once the food came out, I was done being social and talkative. I mean there was no way to keep talking when everything was so delicious--I didn't want to take any breaks from eating. Everything. Literally, everything was amazing. The crawfish pasta, the chargrilled oysters, the boil with shrimp, crabs, crawfish, mushrooms, Brussels sprouts and onions (even the vegetables were so full of flavor).This was all just a Friday night. They came back in the morning to cook us up a New Orleans brunch that was just as excellent:crab cake benedict, shrimp and grits... I am salivating at the memory of all this scrumptious food.We had all kinds of dietary preferences in our group and they accommodated everyone with the same amazing culinary magic. I'd bet their catering beats anything you can find dining out at a restaurant. I whole-heartedly recommend hiring Buggin' Out Boils for your NOLA group event.

This was our first stop after we landed in New Orleans. I had been looking forward to it for months and it did not disappoint! The viet-cajun crawfish were the best meal our entire trip. I'm writing this back home missing them! My husband who has tried crawfish a few times and maintained he "didn't like crawfish" was converted! Turns out he had just never tried Casey's! I know the season is just about over, but the next chance you get to try these, DO IT! You're only doing yourself a disservice by missing out on some seriously delicious crawfish.

Hands down the best crawfish in the city. 34 years I've lived here and I stand by my word, if they weren't a pop up boil I would eat here on the daily. Not only are the crawfish completely perfect but Casey is the most genuine person ever. The love he has for his wife, family, and his crawfish and oysters can't be matched and I found that as a complete stranger. That is what New Orleans is all about so thank you Casey and fam! You will not pick a better way to enjoy a private crawfish boil in NOLA! Casey knows how to make a mean batch of crawfish, and you'll never want to eat a meatball from anywhere else ever again! Highly rec booking him if you're from out of state; the crawfish isn't too spicy and it's perfect for newbies! If you're an experienced crawfish connoisseur, I'm sure he can turn the heat up for you too!Casey made more than just crawfish, he was easy going and fit the vibe of our party just right!

I was recently in NOLA for a birthday weekend for a close friend, and I am SO GLAD that we chose Buggin' Out Boils for our celebration! As a vegan, I was hopeful but apprehensive, as some places would just "check the box" and have a minimal vegan option. I can happily say that just as much care, attention and love was put into the vegan dishes as they put into the boil and the omni options. B.O.B. cooked for us for both a dinner party and brunch the next day, and both meals made the trip so much more special. At dinner, the red beans and rice was stellar and the veggie pasta was fantastic. The next day at brunch, the tofu scramble and herb-roasted potatoes were perfection.Casey and everyone at B.O.B. were top-notch, fun to be around, and super easy to work with. I can't recommend them enough! Thank you!

I can't say anything negative about this company!! They were AMAZING!! We were on a bachelorette party to NOLA and had spoken to a bunch of different companies. Went with Buggin' Out Boils and it did not disappoint! The crawfish were huge. Everything was flavorful. We had a vegetarian in the group and they provided the vegetarian friendly part of the boil separately. Would highly recommend! @stl.foodie

We loved Casey and his crawfish! The crawfish boil was 10/10. Casey was full of recommendations, good stories and made all of our crew feel at home in NOLA. The food was incredible and the vibes were immaculate. He didn't rush and made sure we had the best experience possible. Clean up was easy and such a fun group activity!!!!! Couldn't recommend Buggin Out boils more !!!

So the food is absolutely amazing. Some of the best I ever had. 10/10 for crawfish but that's not what sets them apart from other caterers. Casey is the nicest guy, and really clicked with our group. He made the experience unforgettable for guests who never had crawfish. It felt like a backyard boil with family. I would recommend them for your next party. You are guaranteed great food and excellent company!

Casey absolutely crushed our boil. We were in town for a bachelor party and got him recommended through a long time friend who lives in Nola. 10 of us got to feast like kings for a super reasonable price too. Super chill dude and easy to work with 10/10 service. check him out!

Literally the best in the city!!! Casey is so cool and really knows what he's doing! I've had his food both at their popups at bars around town and also at a private catering event. Casey goes all out to make sure that the food SLAPS and everyone has a good time. Can't recommend this business enough for great food made by great people. If you want New Orleans hospitality at its finest and most genuine, look no further.
