Buffet City

Last lunch stop on my Lafayette trip. Run of the mill Chinese buffet joint. Hot food was hot, cold food was cold. Sushi rolls were the same exact roll with different 'toppings'; could have done without.Very friendly and attentive staff. Every time I came back to my table, the dirty dishes were gone and there was another glass of sweet tea!#1 thing I got to experience were the CORN NUGGETS!! Imagine: deep fried creamed corn. Crunchy exterior, creaming gooey creamed corn inside. Best Southern food find aside from fried chip pickles!!!

I dont know what happened here when they reopened after covid but the food is by far the best buffet so far in lafayette they don't have seafood options for the dinner buffet if they did they would for sure beat out king buffet, which is their only competition, if they do have seafood its not their in the week nights. The other 2 Chinese restaurants would go out of business if this place uped their game, cause lotus garden and king buffet have went to shit after covid lotus has got to be the worst, but as far as buffet city yall have changed cooks , recipes, cleanliness! Good come up !

An above average Asian buffet at a pretty good price. Walking in at 3:30pm was the ultimate test of freshness for the buffet. I can attest to all of the sushi being super fresh even going between lunch and dinner time. The mei fun and egg drop soup were full of flavor, not overly salted which puts the quality above average for a Chinese buffet. Now let's talk CRAWFISH! I'd never consume crawfish from an ayce Asian buffet in South Louisiana with one exception. I saw on their Facebook that they advertised Louisiana crawfish authentically cooked every day for lunch and dinner. I figured I'd try a few and sure enough, they were boiled Louisiana style and actually were pretty good. For the price, you can't beat the quality at many other places around Lafayette. The service was also top notch and worth mentioning. The waiter was watching over 10+ tables and it never failed that as I was taking my last bite, he came and took away the empty dishes. My drink never got below half before he refilled it either. I'll be back for sure!

While we were in Lafayette, 2 people recommended this place to us for dinner. So we decided to try it out.They have a pretty good selection to choose from; Mongolian BBQ, sushi, seafood, Chinese dishes, a salad bar and a dessert bar. Being in "Cajun Country", they had may spicy Cajun dishes, as well as fried frog legs. (Wasn't up for trying those that night though...)The service was so-so. They weren't very friendly and the drinks did not include free refills.I suppose I'd go back again. However, there was a Golden Corral next door, that I might choose instead. They have good food, plenty to drink and are cheaper. (Strange that they put 2 buffets next to each other.)

This is my go to spot whenever I'm in the area. It tastes great and doesn't make me sick! The best Mongolian Grill also.

The food was delicious, the price was cheap and quite a steal, the service was excellent, decorations are phenomenal, and one of the best restaurants I've eaten at. It had met my expectations, and I've had a great time there. Would definitely recommend this place.

Been eating here with my grandparents since I was a kid (about 15 years now ). Wait staff has been good when I go there. Food is better than other places for the price. Really good choice when your hungry and don't know what you want to eat.

Food was not good as it normally is. steak tasted like shrimp which is obvious cross contamination and or spoiled food. Charged $2.95 for drinks that have no carbonation. Told them the drinks didn't taste right to which they replied "what drinks" I said "the drinks YALL brought to the table, they were disgusting you can't even drink them" and they handed my change with an attitude. No an apology a let me fix the issue that's they obviously know about and will still charge you for stuff you can't drink, because every single customer in there asked for water after tasting the nasty soda!

terrible wait staff and the attitudes towards customers are terrible. the facility is unclean and they are rushing customers out after eating for 20 minutes. they are rude and unfit people. if 0 stars could be given, i would give it 0 stars.

DO NOT GO HERE. Terrible first experience here. The food was "ok" But the restaurant has a fly issue, they were hovering around shrimp and that was disturbing. Secondly, my daughter asked For a refill of her sweet tea and when the waitress brought it back, she took a sip and told me that it tasted funny. She stirred it and pulled up AN ENTIRE NAPKIN in her drink, it had been in the sweet tea container a while, obviously, because it was tearing and falling apart. She was disgusted and we ended our meal there. $54 for three of us down the drain! We told the waitress and she had the audacity to QUESTION us, as if we had placed the napkin in the drink. What a joke. Do yourself a favor and pass on this buffet; thank me later!
