Bubbie's Snowballs

Nice ice cream & snowball place hidden away off Loyola in Kenner. We dropped in here on a Sunday afternoon and were surprised by the extensive selection of snowball and ice cream flavors. Service was great as there was no wait and the staff was able to make our custom delish shakes in no time!

Had the strawberry shake. Prompt service. Selection is great. Enjoyed the short visit.

This Family Owned Business is a must try place if you like homemade malts, shakes, specialty snowballs or bubble tea. While timing doesn't allow me to stop in during each visit, it's safe to say it's on the checklist 75% of the time even though it's located in Kenner near the Super Walmart. Ms. Maggie and Mr. Wayne are personable and caring. It seems as if they know every repeat customer. The establishment is clean and there's ample parking. FAVORITES: Snoballs - Chantilly (cheesecake stuffed treat topped with fresh strawberries and blueberries), pink lemonade or any ice cream stuffed flavor. Shakes - Praline Pecan or Banana Fosters If you're into sweets, this is a must try locally owned staple that's open year 'round.

I had a banana cream snoball and my husband had a blue raspberry Snoball. We enjoyed! We will be back to try their Bubble tea!!

Great snoball place! They have a few tables with checkers which my kids love, clean bathrooms and tons of choices! We have had an array of snoball flavors, milkshakes, sundaes and a banana split and all have been great. Staff is always helpful and sweet

Been here a few times now. Their snowballs do not disappoint. Mojito is one of the flavors and it is amazing! Checked out other snowball places and they do not have this flavor. I faithfully come back every time just for the mojito snowball.

Blatantly racist . To start off they have a no hoodie / sweatshirt policy in the middle of the winter ......I've been in more than one time and haven't been acknowledged at all or even asked if I want to order while standing in front of someone at the register . While watching them engage with the customers whom look a lot different than me .

Worst snowball ever it's like they don't wanna serve black people every time I come here I get a watery snowball no ice I also pay extra for ice cream to have no ice cream why is all the white people get a full stuff snowball it a cone on top it never fails with this place it's gotten worst. This is to WARN others this place is charging 9.75% tax when Jefferson parish tax rate is 9.2%. So far since the tax rate changed from 9.75% last year to 9.2% I have corrected 2 businesses( Atomic Burger and The Fiery Crab). This is getting RIDICULOUS I have more knowledge than you all about the tax rate in Jefferson Parish. Anybody can easily check this by a simple math problem. Take your subtotal amount before taxes and multiply it times 1.092. $3.87 x 1.092 = $4.226, rounds to $4.23. $3.87 x 1.0975 = $4.247, rounds to $4.25. As you can see the owner is charging $4.25 total with tax on chalk board menu and PURPOSELY not returning your itemized receipt unless you ask for it which you should AUTOMATICALLY get your itemized receipt whether you pay with cash or credit. Tax is 36 cents NOT 38 cents. All I can figure is: 1. Lazy owners don't want to fix it2. Want to steal on purpose so the parish can get more 3. Dumb ditzy idiots I figure all 3 are correct. I am only an office clerk have a vo-tech school degree and I have more knowledge of a SIMPLE MATH PROBLEM AND TO LEARN the correct sales tax rates. The Fiery Crab was charging Orleans parish tax rate. I reported it to them in a letter and over the phone as they assured me they'd fix it. Nobody caught it, but again there too a FIRST TIME CUSTOMER CATCHES THIS BUT YOU ALL DON'T and even CUSTOMERS DON'T. THAT'S sad, it really is.
