The restroom was not the cleanest and we had to ask for the key to use it. The store looked good but the ladies room was nasty. Broken doorknob, duct tape everywhere, including where the lock for the ladies room should be. I did not want to say anything, so I just went outside. My husband came outside griping that the men's room was nasty, too. Also I walked my dog around outside, so much litter everywhere. The neighborhood around the gas station did not appear bad, it's New Orleans East, I think. Saw a motorcycle gang filling up, too, they look local. Oddly, seeing them made me feel safer, like they would not let anything bad happen.

This station is super convenient to I-10. There are few things in life that are guaranteed. I know most people say death and taxes, but I'm talking about needing gas and having to pee. Since I frequently find myself in need of gas and a bathroom when I'm in The East, I often come here. Gas This Shell branded station has a boatload of pumps. Don't let that make you think getting gas will always be easy, because it won't. Unless you come really early you're likely to find every pump occupied. I've also noticed a trend of folks getting gas and then abandoning their car while they go inside. This means I skip the station when it's full. Waiting for someone to return to their car is an exercise in frustration. BathroomThe bathroom here is awful. I'm not sure if it's lack of cleaning or just so many people using it. But it stinks and is never clean. Making matters worse is the lack of hand towels. All there is to dry your hands is an old hardly working hand dryer. Most of the time I wipe my hands on my pants. StaffThere are more workers here than almost any station in the city. They just sell their entire inventory daily as they're always restoring something. It's like an obstacle course to get a water or to pee. Should you go?If you need gas and it's not packed, yes you should. If it's packed or you need to deuce it up, hell no you shouldn't.

For locals, the setting is fine but for those of you living in white surburbia, you might be spook or scared of the surrounding area LOL. It's definitely not a dangerous area of the city but at night it does have that danger element that could surfaced up at anytime, especially after 10pm. I wanted to try their chicken as it's popular but by the look and cost, I might as well pay a bit more at Popeyes. This chain has quite a few locations and is Arab-owned. It's been at least 8 years since I have the hot sausage poboy so I got one. I also got some boudin balls.Verdict:Hot sausage po-boy: this wasn't good. The meat was so burnt and blackened and there's barely any lettuce in it. I was very disappointed. Boudin ball: this was a hit. Spicy and very good. I would definitely get it again. Overall, Brothers you did me no good. Your chicken looks dried out and your hot sausage po-boy made cringed.

Got some chicken for the saints game it was great as always. I like brothers they have good well seasoned nicely fried chicken. I also get gas from there from time to time. You can tell its a popular spot right before the game cause the line is a bit long but it moves fast and it's worth it if you're willing to wait for fresh hot chicken instead of what they already have out. There are brothers food marts all over the city I don't know if they are as good as the one near me but everytime I'm in town I make sure to hit them up.

Always packed and usually foolishness. The gas isn't always the cheapest. I come here when I'm pushed for time and I live up the street.

Get the chicken fresh out the grease and for the price its damn good. Nothing better than hot fried chicken.

It is not just a regular convenient store at a Shell gas station. It sells fried chicken, po boy sandwich, and friend fish. Their fried chicken are very tasty and very reasonable. You can get 4-piece white meat for $4.99.

Well it's Friday November 9th around 6:00am I went into the store to use the restroom....VERY NASTY BY THE WAY...AS I was on the toliet a man opened my stall door and tried to attack me....I started screaming and he ran out so i ran out the store to my husband. I noticed that when I came out the bathroom the two employees behind the counter was staring at me. I told my husband what had happened and when my husband went and told the employees they acted like they didn't know nothing. They played stupid. SO IM POSTING MY STORY TO WARN WOMEN TO BECAREFUL AT THIS STORES RESTROOM BECAUSE IF UR ATTACKED AND YELLING NOONE WILL HELP U AMD THEY WILL PLAY STUPID AND NOT give a damn what happens to u!!!
