I enjoy browsing in this shop and looking at all it has to offer. Although I'm not in the market for any large furniture pieces this shop definitely has thouse and a a bit of everything else too. The owner/worker (?) has always been pleasant and chatty but also leaves you to browse. The store is chock full so be prepared to be careful as you make your way through all the merchandise. Prices seem high for some items and then incredibly reasonable for others. There's usually a discount on the marked price which is a technique I'm not so fond of but I guess that it works.I've purchased christmas ornaments (new stock), small boxes, miniature figurines, used books, and even a solar waving Queen of England. Definitely worth a pass-by for a unique gift or the perfect item for your home.

The pieces are high quality and the majority of the items are ceramic/porcelain and decorative. I was hoping to find something suitably steampunk and functional but, was thwarted. The downside is that prices border on absurd. Perhaps my expectations were misplaced. Nevertheless, I decided to shop elsewhere.

I bought several lovely porcelain dishes and a planter at the location on 1000 Royal St. I also bought 2 beautiful 19th century equestrian prints. Sally, the manager, was terrific. I genuinely enjoyed working with her and will visit again. The location on Royal is relatively new ( the main store is on Magazine). The selection was small, but very nice ( and very high quality too). The prices were also very attractive. The customer service was superb.

There is soooo much to see. Give yourself ample time to explore this great shop on Magazine St. The sales lady was knowledgeable and very helpful. I was very pleased with my gift and gift wrapping. A must see shop in New Orleans and the prices were very reasonable.
