The worst dining experience in New Orleans. Period. Sucks! It took 90 minutes to get our meal from seating. It's pretentious. Do not eat here!

One of our favorite restaurants in NOLA (maybe our #1fav). Everything is exquisite -even the freaking kids meals (something I NEVER order for my kids-but these are goooood). You have to have the crab cheese cake! The cheese platters are huge!! Presentation is amazing and so are the drinks. Beware: it's easy to over order here; the portions are large and the menu is great!

While the service and presentation were phenomenal, the food was absolutely average...or a tad below -- especially for the high price. To say that my wife and I were not wowed is an understatement. Again, while the people/service were delightful, the food simply was not. We will not be going back there any time soon. We expected more for Thanksgiving and they simply did not deliver.

We spent 1 night in New Orleans after we got off a cruise ship. My husband researched restaurants, this is what he wanted, and here you go - Dickie Brennan's steakhouse - It was incredible. We live near Chicago and have Mortons, Ruths Chris, Mike Ditkas, The Chop House, etc. We spent about $170 for the 2 of us - 2 glasses of wine and ordering a la carte off the menu The server forgot a wine for dinner and was so mortified he brought one on him. He overhead us talking about bananas foster a specialty of theirs, but not ordering it, yet brought it, on him. So, gee we left him a good tip. Wonderful place to eat. We have since heard our friends talk about their wonderful experiences there too.
