Brain Freeze Snowballs

This is the best snowball stand in the east. I've been going to this snowball stand for at least five years now and their snowballs are so full of flavor. I don't know how long they have been in business but I am glad I discovered them. I grew up going to what I thought was was the best snowball stand in the east, you know the one on Lake Forest, but I was wrong. I released I was wrong when Brain Freeze was closed and I went to the other one. I ordered my fav, a peach and pink lemonade and boy was it watery. I was so disappointed and dissatisfied. Their nachos are always on point, cheese always hot and the perfect thickness. If you are in New Orleans East and in the mood for a snowball, stop by Brain Freeze on Hayne, right next to Castnet for a flavorful experience!! I want one now lol.

Yes!!! This my favorite of all times snowball stands. It sells the other stuff expected and the flavor of the snowballs is amazing. It has a little sitting area out front and it's next to a seafood place (haven't tried them yet). So my current love is the creole cream cheese with condensed milk on top. I am in heaven when I am eating this. Don't be afraid of the line, it could be long but it moves efficiently and the service is ok.

So far the best snoballs I've tried in New Orleans East. I got Ice Cream Cream and they are very generous with their syrup. Most places... you hit dry spots in the ice or where the cup has more ice than syrup. They haven't done that here in my handful of experiences. If you're going to Casnet or Walkers, you might as well stop by here for a snoball with your meal. Also the ice is nice. It's not Hansen's level soft, but it's a really nice texture. I'm super picky about ice and they understand the assignment. Hansen's has the best snoball textures in my opinion, but if you're on The East, this is a great place to go.

An underrated, almost obscure snoball stand in the east. Maybe "obscure" is the wrong word since it's located next to the very popular Castnet Seafood on Hayne, but I rarely hear people talk about this place when talking about the best sno balls. I admire that they drench the nachos in cheese when you order nachos...lot of other sno ball stands only put the cheese to the side of charge for "extra". Their sno balls are always delicious too. Every time I go, each worker takes pride in crafting a perfectly made sno ball.

This place had a nice long list of options for flavors and toppings. They also did the usual other food items you find at a snowball stand (nachos, ice cream etc...)The snowball was nice and juicy I got the sour apple and Georgia peach! The ice was fluffy. I haven't found ice like that outside of the New Orleans area. There is a nice area outside to sit and eat your food if you don't want to take it to go.And it's right next to Castnet Seafood! What could be better.

These are the best snowballs I've had in a while in the east. Sweet, juicy and next door to the best seafood and BBQ!

Snoballs were great, there were lots of options. Prices are reasonable. They also have other snack options. The line moves swiftly, there's music playing, and s seafood place right next door. We had spicy boiled seafood and snoballs a great combo. I would recommend this place to others in the neighborhood.
