I have traveled the state for over 35 years in industrial sales. So believe me when I say that this meat market has the best, best,best andouille in the state. My family and friends love my chicken and sausage gumbo and it's unique flavor comes from their andouille. Oh! By the way......tremendously delicious hogsheads cheese tooooooo!!

Do go here looking for a man sized lunch from their kitchen.... Plate lunches only on Thursdays/Friday, other days it burgers. I ordered a cheese burger with the works... got a bun, slice of cheese and what looked to be a pre stamped burger patty. from a fresh meats, meat market ?!?!?! This ( happy meal) Burger small fry and coke $15.++ Oh .......t was all I could say on here. Glad BK was just down the road.

This meat market is known for its high quality so I just had to check it out. I met the proud friendly staff who were very helpful in showing and explaining their different kinds of sausages and meats. Prices are a little high but the quality can't be beat. They also have some deli items and snacks. Love the crab boudin and their beef jerky.

Talk about Boudin (pronounced boo Dan) heavens. This place is the bomb with fresh cut to order meats without breaking the bank. I purchased 5lbs of boudin, a jar of red pepper jelly and 2 1.5" thick porterhouse for under $90.00. Great prices, helpful staff with a smile, good location (wished it was in Georgia) and a steak persons (gender friendly) dream land. Remember to support your local businesses so to keep them open in spite of all the crazies...

This spot is way out in the boonies but if your looking for homemade original Louisiana meats & sausages this is the meat market you've been looking for. Make sure that if your going go early because they close at 1:00. All of the products are homemade and can be ordered on their website fir home delivery.

Their Cajun beef jerky is the best I've ever had! I'm so glad they ship it so I can enjoy it in St. Louis.

Sorry can't give more then five stars! The place full twenty minutes before closing but just grabbed a couple snacks for the ride and both so good. The beef jerky , Smokey and so complex. It had a mild heat and a deep Smokey flavor, and tender. The hot head cheese Spicy but not overwhelming, the natural flavor of the pork still came threw. Not greasy, still firm some of the best I've ever had. Hidden gem of the bayou.

OMG!!! We got the cooked boudin (mild and crawfish) and would definitely recommend both, but I really like the crawfish!! Super friendly, very efficient, and getting to see your meat cut fresh is nice.
