Stopped by Bourbon House on my trip to New Orleans and overall it was a solid experience. The atmosphere was like an upscale ice cream parlar/ fine dining if that makes sense. Anyways, I had the blue crab claws and oysters, which were both fresh and flavorful. It was my first time trying charbroiled oysters and they were pretty good, though my cousin insists Drago's does them better. The gumbo was delicious with a nice depth of flavor, and the Harvest Salad was a fresh and lighter option to balance things out. Prices weren't outrageous, which was a pleasant surprise. For dessert, we had the apple bread pudding à la mode, and it was the perfect sweet ending warm, rich, and comforting.Big shoutout to Don, our server, who was friendly and attentive throughout the meal.Would definitely recommend Bourbon House for a good seafood experience in the French Quarter.Would I go back? Yes!
