Looking for a bar where you can hear yourself think, have a nice pint, chat with locals? This is it. And, if you have never had a Bloody Mary with Guinness, you are missing out on a great experience. Friendly bartender, great vibe.

This somewhat divey French quarter bar has been a mainstay. I've walked into this place when you can barely fit one more person and everyone is elbow to elbow drinking happily. Other times, I was the sole soul at the bar. The movie "Boondock Saint" plays constantly on the tv. While the Bloody Mary's are not near as good as they were in the past, they still are tasty and each gets a nice splash of Guinness for some extra tasty flavor. Don't pass up this little bar with a rich history and a ton of nostalgia. Guinness in each one

I stopped in to see what their Irish Whisky & beer selections were looking like. They had quite a few whiskey options (Powers, Green Spot , & 12yr Red Breast), but only Guinness for beer. They were playing Boondock Saints on one of the TVs which was dope to see and the ambiance was like a clean dive bar. Service was fast and attentive.Didn't try any food, so I'll update whenever I return.

Another shotgun style dive bar near Pat O's. This one is usually hopping so it's rare that we go here. It's nicer than the others on the block with friendly bartenders and decent bathrooms.

It's nice kitschy little place with the namesake movie playing. It was nice to nice my wallet a little reprieve. 2 drinks + tip was $18, we were dropping $18 on single drinks in a lot of other places around town. Server was fabulous!

The coolest hole in the wall dive bar in the quarter. Bartender had a "spin-the-wheel" game to get a free shot of something. Stopped in on a pub crawl with friends awhile back and never got around to reviewing. Also a man was asleep on one of the benches and they let the poor guy sleep. Nice place and nice people! Also very affordable compared to other places in the Quarter.

By far my favorite bar in NOLA. A local friend of mine recommended it as he knew I'm fond of dive bars :-)Just a half block off of the chaos of Bourbon St - I've never seen this place too crowded - even when there are people lined up across the street to get in to another bar.No nonsense bartenders, reasonable prices for a tourist area and the noise level is low enough you can have an actual conversation without shouting.Adding to my list of great dive bars around the country (and making that list if I don't have one).

We ordered a few drinks and wanted to just sit for a bit. However, we were kicked out for "bad vibes" and for not showing our ID's at the exact same time. I highly do NOT recommend this bar. They are extremely rude and not worth your time. Skip this bar and choose the many other nicer bars in the area.

Have been going here regularly since 2010. it's a great dive bar and it's a favorite of ours. The bartenders are great! We love Ms Lacy Picot! Was disappointed two weekends ago that they did not have the usual Guinness on tap which first drove me there. Will be disappointing if this becomes standard business practice. Would hate to
