Chelsey L. was an excellent waitstaff!!! Sweet. Helped us with best suggestions. Always had our drinks topped off, and checked on us a lot to clear things and refill bread or drinks. Ask for her if you can! The corn (and crab?) bisque was 10 out of 10! Soooo delicious. Served hot and perfectly seasoned. I could eat 2 bowls of that alone. So tasty. Their alligator bang bang appetizer was so tasty. Crispy crust and drizzled with their awesome house sauce. Highly recommend. 10/10Their jumbo lump crab cakes were also very tasty. Excellent bake/fry on them. And loved the sauce it came with; just enough spice to it without being overpowering. 9/10 (because it was just 2 crab cakes)Their shrimp po boy had a great serving of shrimp with their house sauce. The bread needed to be toasted more - it fell apart a little bit as it was cut in half. But again, great flavor! Shrimp fried to perfection. And that house sauce is great, a little tangy, a little spice, and really yummy. 8/10The Bon Temps chicken salad - decent serving. The dressing was THICK. If you like that, great! The salad eater doesn't like thick dressing so they dipped their salad into the sauce to have the flavor. 8/10Loved the ambience. Loved the music. The workers there were super nice and outgoing. Highly recommend!

I've slowly become more disappointed over time.I've said similar before. I have a toddler so I get delivery to my hotel room for dinner, especially if we are tired. Like tonight!I have my order screenshot and the receipt that came on my delivery bag. They don't match my order fully. Missing my drink. Missing the side of red beans (for my toddler because he is a picky eater and might not eat the kids order I bought him)Fries to me mean French fries not potato bits/wedges -- so he wouldn't eat those since they weren't French fries.The Caesar salad dressing was split (oily on top even after shaking the container) definitely meh and seemed flavorless.The boudin balls inside were "watery" kind of mushy with no real texture just mushy.Overall the meal was edible, spice was there, most items were just okay.Bummed because early on I was very impressed with multiple meals.I always say maybe the dine in is better. I'm convinced now though that I won't be ordering out from here anymore. I'm a tired mom alone with a toddler on a trip for a funeral and the last thing I want to deal with is meal order issues with a picky toddler.Also why are their two different fees added to the order too? Nearly a $10 "service fee" what is this service fee? The restaurant tip? Because missing items twice now I'd like to deduct my tip.The delivery and driver were great!I used Grubhub.If we have the sit down time and energy then maybe we will go in for dinner and see if the meals are better served there. The missing items are a consistent issue for me and our history of ordering out with this restaurant.

Gosh, this place feels like eating in a Disney Cajun-land restaurant. Everything was fine, nothing stood out.Waitstaff was great and kitschy decor was fun.Next day we ate at Rita Mae's in Morgan City and we might as well have been in another universe; authentic and delicious in every way.

Stopped in for an after work cocktail. Kinda busy for right after 5 but that's a good sign. Typical south LA decor but in a good way. Cocktails were delish so we got 2 rounds before heading out. Need to try the dinner next time

Great meal at Bon temps. Half priced wine bottles on Tuesday nights. Have friendly and efficient service throughout the night. Really enjoyed the alligator bang bang bites as an appetizer and the crawfish étouffée as an entree which comes with two sides.

Great experience! Joanie gave very friendly service. Our party of 7 enjoyed their meals. Only room for improvement was the potato salad, kinda reminded me of Sysco.

Recommended by my hotel and yelp. Parking is small and I noticed that while driving by and also notice they stay busy. Went with a friend and we had happy hour drinks (denoted by alligator image on menu)I had lemon lavender drop martini. It was tasty but I should have upgrade vodka but there goes happy hour price. LolI ordered red beans and rice meal and the blackened chicken pasta. Both were ....o.m.g goood!Seriously the red beans and rice is like Popeyes but hella better. Just missing the Cajun sprinkle. Pasta was soulfully tasty. I could had my chicken more blackened but that's just me.You get complimentary house garlic bread and it's fresh warm and soft. My friend ordered boudin and sausage and it was delicious too.Service was friendly and on point! I cannot wait to go back and try other items.

We were passing through LA and my wife has never been, so I introduced her to some Cajun/Creole food at Bon Temps. Landon was our server and he gets five stars along with the young ladies that helped him out. WE started with 2 Moijos which were great. A further investigation of the drink menu showed we were just under the happy hour time limit, but Landon and the other staff displayed great customer service by taking care of our second drink, since Landon was tied up with a party of 25. We ordered Pepperjack Boudin Balls, Shrimp & Tasso Pasta, & Sweet Chili and Honey Chicken. All the food was exceptional and even though I'm not a picky eater, my wife is. So, in summary the food was great & the service was exceptional thanks to Landon and the rest of the staff.

Food was great!! To say Donavon was an amazing server is a complete understatement!! He greated us so kindly, great service! Definitely recommend!!

We had high hopes for some tasty Cajun food-it sure looked tasty but.....Disappointed for sure! Somethings wrong in the kitchen!! Grits were cold, corn tortillas cold and dry. Etouffee pot pie was tasteless with no crawfish or shrimp in sight! Waitstaff was fine. We would not return! If anyone there asked how our meal was I would have shared this with them. Coffee was hot and fresh so appreciate that.
