MAYBE the best sushi i've ever had. the kimchi edamame --- amazing. i was impressed by how delicious every single thing was. Our waitress was super friendly and very attentive, she did a wonderful job. whole experience was fantastic. we sat outdoors on the patio and it was very quaint and relaxing. I loved it all. will definitely be going back!

Came here for an early dinner on a Saturday and it was a great choice. The service was great and the atmosphere was delightful. They have a lot of nice patio seating as well. Great location! Food reviews below: Voodoo Roll without jalapeños: 4/5 Chicken Fried Rice: 100/5 Wow !! Comes with sauces on top so I didn't have to add them in :) Soooo delicious.

We were here twice already within two weeks of each other. We like sitting at the bar and both Jacob (from Croatia) and Chelsea were fantastic. Jacob makes a great Espresso martini. On our second visit, Chelsea served a great frozen sake margarita. We enjoyed RYU, Boudreaux, Hempster rolls. They were nice and light, low rice. The spicy edamame both times was fantastic. The squid salad both times is amazing.

My husband and I had a nice dinner on the porch outside seating. This sushi was by far superb. We got the spicy kimchi edamame, king tatami, beef tataki, margarita roll, and charmango. They were all delicious. Also the lychee martini and lychee mule were fantastic. Our server was amazing! Don't remember his name, but he was a tall guy with good energy. very kind. 10/10 experience.

My first time here and it was delicious. We were well taken care of by the staff and management. The roasted Brussels Sprouts were amazing and I even ordered a Volcano. Yummy!I tried two different types of sake. Very tasty. We will be back!Great ambiance and vibe right in the heart of Downtown Covington.

I went here because the owner is an old friend of mine from high school. I saw she opened this z few years ago and decided to give it a try on date night with my wife. It did not disappoint. The food was excellent. My wife said that her Charmango roll was the best roll she ever had. My two rolls were excellent as well, they were Futomaki and Spicy Salmon. I also had the squid salad. The dessert was to die for. My wife had s coffee crème brûlée and I had the gingerbread pudding. So delicious. The bartender made some excellent drinks and was great on selections. Very nice young lady. Great hire Fancy. All in all a wonderful dining experience. I highly recommend.

I've been here twice in the last 2 weeks. This is the best sushi on the Northshore and possibly in all of Louisiana. I've eaten sushi all over the USA and in Japan. These people are creative and know what they're doing. So good!!!!

We heard good things about this spot, but my husband and I did not have a good experience at all. Our waitress was kind, but she could definitely tell something shifted once she brought out our food. The food quality was so poor, as pictured (salmon skin roll was absolute mush, and the other rolls' contents were a joke, After tip, our bill was $90 for 4 rolls that were pathetic and one appetizer. Never again. I like to support different places and try new things, but Zen and Megumi will remain our regulars.
