Older, dirty and mainly young kids. The pool table is falling apart. Definitely not anywhere I would visit again.

LOVE this place!!!! Very social, entertaining and clean. The staff is wonderful, too. Lara was so sweet! I'm not from the area and she was so kind and welcoming to me. They have great deals, the drinks are so cute and it was just a great atmosphere. I'll definitely be visiting again!

Unassuming from the outside, but one would be wise to not assume.Bogies is a college sanctuary. As a former regular of the establishment, I can tell you that Bogies does not only embody the lifestyle of a LSU Tiger, it embodies the lifestyle of a young Louisianian. The Bogies experience begins with the entrance line. At this moment in time, you find yourself surrounded by a slew of inebriated college co-eds just itching to get inside.Once you are inside, you see it... You instantly understand why people come here. You see the C-shaped bar that serves stout and premium beverages at college town prices. If this could bring a smile to your face, then what you see next should bring a joker's grin. What you see next is the dance floor which is always packed, forming a hierarchy of drunk girls with the most intoxicated being featured on top of the stage. In this area you will see anything and everything, and yet you will be apart of anything and everything!Lastly, if the night calls for a smoke or a break from the university wasteland, you can lounge about the spacious patio. Once you're out here, do yourself a favor and take a moment to look up at the starry galaxy and appreciate the very pavement your foot has rested upon. For if you are in the prime of your life, you, my friend, are in the right place.

I have spent many-a-night at Bogie's Bar & (where is the) Grill. In fact most of my money in college was invested in Bogie's...Bogie's is your typical college bar - cheap drinks and loud music. It's usually loaded with the Greek crowd, but some nights there is a good mix. Ladies crowd the bar on Thursday and Saturday nights in order to get in without having to pay the pesky cover charge. Old School night (Fridays during football season) is great for those who want to relive their LSU glory days, but it gets extremely packed extremely fast. If you are looking to jump right in the LSU scene, Bogie's is the place to be!

Avoided during college and thought it was a frat bar, however it's bearable and perfect walking distance if you are staying near by.After football games, you'll find cheerleaders(my brother) and football players. Had an excellent time after Ole Miss win!

Male bartender named Alec I think? His shots were horrible they all tasted like either straight liquor or straight juice & his drinks were even worse. His attitude was unwelcoming and made me not want to come back.

Gave this place 1 star only because I can't give it 0 stars. I was so glad when it opened a few weeks ago. UNfortunately for them, not only will I not be returning for a while, but I'm about to SLAM them. I went in here on a Mon night-not very busy considering LSU had just won the National Championship. My main complaint is I walked up to the bar, made eye contact with the bartender SEVERAL times. He was understandably helping other patrons yet DID NOT, at any point, acknowledge me with a simple "I'll be right with you sir." I have come to expect better service on slow nights-no matter where I go. It was unprofessional and made me feel like a piece of shit. You'd also think since they've been given a second chance, they'd make it less divey. Oh well bogies.
