Blue Store Chicken

LOVE BLUE STORE!!!! Growing up in the south I knew of blue store, and it was always a treat to have my mom bring some home. I'm so happy to have one close to my house now. The waiting area smells clean, but not "cover up filth" clean. Food is fresh and hot. And usually they'll tell you your wait time, if you come at a slow time, like I did today, and food is cooked to order.

Best fried chicken takeout in town. Just spicy enough. Love this place. Great service

This is hands down the best Chicken in BR. Blue store chicken is a staple food item for the students and residents near The Southern University A&M college. Blue store chicken used to only be offered in the avenues near Southern University. The owners have since been opening more locations.This is one of the new locations and the chicken is just as good as the original and the building is cleaner which is a plus. This place isn't fancy by far. If you are looking for fancy this isn't the place. But! ......IF you are in the mood for some perfectly fried chicken this is definitely the place to stop

I came here based off a recommendation. I must thank that person because the chicken was delicious. This is a no frills spot. Order your food and go. We order 12 whole wings and 6 biscuits. The total came to $15.40!! Great price for the amount of food we ordered. It's a bit of a drive for me but I would definitely make the trip again.

The food was delicious, made to order, hot and fresh. The chicken livers are my favorite. 10 /10!

It's always fresh and consistent. The staff was polite Much better prices than Popeyes

Inconsistency in how fried. Will not be returning the inside is dirty. The walls are filthy and the place needs a deep cleaning , the walls cleaned or painted, bathroom door filthy. A small white trash can behind the counter for small trash half of the outside of the is so dirty it looks grey.

Hello This is me anh phan so i like this place so much i tried the chicken and fries and my dad own this place my mom works at this place this is so amazingik this place was made in 2019. am just a kid who likes this place and i am 8 year old.

Wow! Wow! Wow! Wow! Wow! That's a 5star WOW! Fried chicken is off the hook. Red Beens, fried rice and sweet rolls also splendid. Traveling from FL and wanted a mom/pop restaurant to patron. Asked some customers in line and they too said was great food. Nice job, Blue Store, and thank you.

Best chicken I've found in LA. Only my Grandma made better. I moved from Kentucky 9 yrs ago where we know fried chicken. Ain't No LA Kitchen nor any Fil-A can touch this fresh, made to order serving and prices are more reasonable too.
