I've visited Blend on multiple occasions and loved it every single time. My first visit was Thursday, May 11I went for art and wine night it was a great atmosphere . You do have to be 21 to enter. I sat at the bar with my mom the service was great. I got a $7 crawfish pimiento dip, $10 a wine flight and (I'm not sure of this price) an aviation cocktail.on my wine flight I got (in order from left to right on the pic) the COZZAROLO I truly did not care for it, amezloi (could def be spelling that wrong) it was good but nothing spectacular it was a rosé jb Becker Riesling (the darker brown one) FAV WINE BY FAROn my second visit I loved it so much I came back the very next day I came during happy hour on that Friday. they have $7 cocktails from 5-7pm. I got three of those, an aviation, side car and an old fashion. Between us we split their ($26) large charcuterie board you get 5 choices of meat/cheese, one wine flight ( we enjoyed jb Becker once more and the Dm. Yoyo "akoibon" 2019 was a great selection) , and I got another crawfish pimento. Service was prompt and very friendly from Mackenzie. I will attach my receipt here. My most recent visit was on July 21st. There was an issue with our service. There was a private event going on. I asked the bartender (it's a guy with a very nice mustache) if they were completely closed or if it was just the upstairs. He listened to me talk stared at me and walked off and came back with no answer and I stood there waiting for maybe five minutes before I just asked someone else and they told us we could be seated. besides that the vibe was nice. there were actually two parties that night but it didn't bother me or my date. we got a small charcuterie board you get 3 choices of meat/cheese ($13-15) overall: TRY BLEND. if you're up or small plates, a good charcuterie selection and good drinks!

I love this place! Great decor and ambience! Wine selection was excellent! Folklore Pinot was so good! Charcuterie selections were awesome and so was the warm shrimp dip!! Our service was top notch as well! Thank you, Blend for a wonderful experience!

My "bubble of friends" and i decided to meet up for our annual holiday girls night out, and Blend was the location of choice. Online reservations do not appear to be working right now, but if you call, you'll get a spot. When we arrived, we realized there were plenty of places that others could have come, but we had a nice window spot with a view of the Christmas tree.Our server, Abigail was a gem! She offered some recommendations on a special they were having, and she confirmed the wine selection we were viewing would go nicely. We ordered a couple of charcuterie trays and bottles of wine. The chef's choice was really good, then we were able to create our own and experiment a little. We also ordered a flatbread that was really good overall. Blend really has come a long way over the years, and I look forward to more exciting changes in the future. Perfect for a friend's gathering, after work happy hour, business cocktail meeting, or just to treat yourself, you won't be disappointed.

I wandered into this bar walking downtown in BR. I absolutely loved how cozy and relaxed it felt. The interior reminds me of a cigar lounge. I was not expecting it to have 2 levels and so much seating. There was a small crowd which was perfect for me. The waitress was knowledgeable of different wines offerings and provided me with a great selection. I can't wait to return and taste more of the menu.

Blend was an excellent choice to spend a festive holiday evening with my girlfriends! The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable about the wine list and gave thoughtful suggestions based on our tastes. Upon walking into the restaurant we noticed a board advertising a meat and cheese charcuterie board and a bottle of wine for $60. Since there were five of us, we decided to go ahead order two. The Chef curated both boards differently based on our wine selection and preferences. Both were delicious and were a great deal for what we received. I was also really impressed with the wine list at Blend. My favorite was The Prisoner Saldo Zinfandel that was smooth and an excellent companion to the Duck & Bleu Flatbread we ordered. Outside of date night or an upscale evening with the girls, Blend is also a fantastic location to rent out for special occasions like a wedding reception or Holiday party. I recommend visiting next time you are in the mood for a great atmosphere, tasty wine, and some tasty shareable bites.

My boyfriend and I are new to town and we have been trying all the local spots. Tonight we came to Blend for a quick drink. The FUQUA SMASH -- ( bourbon, blackberry, raspberry, lemon) was so refreshing and had perfectly balanced flavors. Ill definitely be back for another. We left after our drinks. Well, a few hours later we were in the mood for something sweet, and we had saw a great dessert on their menu- so we decided to head on back to blend. When we arrived we were informed that the kitchen was unfortunately closed for the evening. Just as we were leaving to go home- the chef ( who was off work mind you) got off her barstool and said she would go make me some dessert!!!!!! I mean, she didn't have to do that, i was just speechless. How awesome is that!?!!! I didn't catch her name, but I wish I did because I want to say THANK YOU and express my gratitude. The Gelato was phenomenal. It was more than just Gelato- Blueberry Gelato with Brown Butter Cake and Hazelnut Crumble. To die for. Thank you so much Joey and the super sweet chef for accommodating us! You have made loyal customers of us and we will be back!!!!

I enjoy coming to Blend because normally the service is great and it is a lovely atmosphere to enjoy with friends! However, my last experience was a bit odd and disappointing. My friend's and I decided to head to Blend to celebrate her bachelorette party. The day of the event the manager called and asked "Are y'all still even coming?" which was honestly just one of the strangest ways to confirm a reservation. Nevertheless, we headed to the restaurant for our reservation.I do like making reservations before heading to Blend just because I normally come with a larger party. The process is super easy to do via their website and it's a great way to ensure that you have the space you need. When we arrived our waitress could barely contain her disdain when she saw the two balloons we had for our bachelorette. Now normally I understand people making snap judgements when they see balloons and sunglasses that say "Bride Party", but there were only six of us and we had two balloons, bride sunglasses, and the bachelorette was wearing a pink cape. We did not bring any inappropriate bachelorette items to the restaurant and were respectful and quiet the whole time. We even requested a table in the upstairs space in case we did get a little loud as to not bother the other patrons. However, our waitress's whole face and demeanor completely changed when she saw the balloons which was a bit off-putting.When it comes to food at Blend everything is delicious! We got the cheese plate, blue walnut dip, and carrot hummus to share. Each plate was delicious and our waitress explained the different cheeses and meats and made great suggestions which was very helpful. The carrot hummus was different but delightfully sweet and the blue walnut dip was a great flavorful contrast of salty, crunchy, and tangy. I ordered the petit filet which also came with potato gratin. The filet is only 4 oz. which is deceptively small, but it was well cooked and my potatoes were delicious. However, a friend at the table found an extremely large hair in her potatoes which definitely dampered the mood. She had planned to tell our waitress, but given her she did not feel comfortable discussing the hair incident with her.Though the food was absolutely delicious, barring the hair, the service was extremely slow. The time it took to order a simple cocktail to the time it took to actually get to the table was nearly 25 minutes. The appetizers and entrees also took a long time to get to the table. When we tried to reorder drinks it was nearly impossible because our waitress only check on us once every 30 minutes which was a tad ridiculous given that the restaurant was pretty empty. Most of the time my water glass was empty given how few times our waitress showed up. Tl;dr: The food was delicious, but a friend found a hair in her food and the service was extremely slow.

Fantastic wine bar in Downtown Baton Rouge. Very nice vibe with a stylish combination of wood and steel and brick, just enough light, upstairs areas, downstairs areas - hipster meets reclaimed warehouse perhaps? Whatever it is - it works. Bartender makes a very nice Boulevardier and Sazerac - a sign of fine Southern Bartending. Put this one in your "not to be missed" list....

The vibe here is always grown and sexy . I love it here. There's a lot of space and there's a lot of privacy as well. The lighting is nice and dim and the food is amazing. Their drinks or off the chain and there's lots of variety. Perfect place for dating, girls night out, bachelorette or bachelor's party, meetings, or birthday celebrations.

Blend is an excellent venue for a private event. My dad's surprise birthday party was perfect because of the owner and his staff. The owner was very responsive, easy to work with, and professional during the planning of the event and on the night of the party. I highly recommend Blend for private events!
