New favorite sushi spot in New Orleans!We arrived at the same time as a huge (14 person) table so service seemed a bit slower than usually but they were incredibly kind and apologetic (and honestly not terribly slow) which was all you could ask for! Server was very nice. And the outdoor seating was perfect on a fall night!We got the hamachi to start-- the jalapeño added a nice kick. Then, we got the satsuma roll and hand rolls. All the special rolls were delicious, especially soft shell crab and toro.Cocktails were great as well! The lychee martini was sweet but delicious.Come here!

Loved dinner here! Fresh and creative rolls and Hamachi. Can't wait to go again. The presentation is great!

The best in town by far! What a gem...albeit a small gem. Reservations are a must as it is small...did I mention it was small??

This restaurant was amazing. I've had a really hard time finding great sushi in New Orleans and now I finally have. It is a small restaurant on magazine, causal to nicer casual vibe. The fish was super fresh and the combination of flavors were amazing. The best sashimi was the artic char, if you don't like salmon you might still like this. The spicy tuna crispy was cooked to perfection. The toro hand roll was great but the caviar add on is unnecessary. The rolls were amazing but the Muay Thai flavors, although may seem odd, worked perfectly together. The nigiri was great but the scallop was better without the lemon so you can really taste the quality of the fish. We also had some miso udon and green tea to start with. The miso broth was great and it was a nice simple spin on your normal miso soup. Definitely recommend, best sushi place I've been to in New Orleans so far.

This is probably the best sushi spot I've been to in terms of having outstanding raw fish. They have an excellent selection of imported fish from Japan. Kanpachi and Aji are particularly nice. The toro here is outstanding. They use special oils and and exotic relishes to add massive flavor to the fish, and also stuff like preserved lemon or orange. The rolls are very good but I recommend the nigiri and sashimi specifically. If you like crazy rolls with tempura shrimp and cream cheese this is not your spot. If you like eating sushi with your bare hands and really enjoy good fish, definitely roll through.

Fun atmosphere, great service, amazing quality sushi. TORO WAS AMAZING 10/10 want to try their Sunday happy hour $5 sake and $5 hand rolls. Will be back

Definitely, our favorite local Japanese restaurant of all time. the shifts definitely knew what they were doing. All the dishes were fresh and unique. I didn't take photos of all the dishes we ordered, but I don't think you could order something you didn't like from this menu.

10/10. This sushi was absolutely delicious, the staff were very nice, and the music was a perfect vibe. I'll be back. Weekly. I live down the street.

New Orleans isn't known for its sushi... until now. The culinary artists at Bisutoro on Magazine serve up the freshest and most exceptionally unique Japanese fare. The sushi chefs come from diverse and strong backgrounds and are incredibly accomplished. The wait staff is outgoing, kind, friendly, and accommodating. The restaurant is dimly lit making the ambiance which is otherwise quaint very charming as well. Their choice of music not only drowns out the noise of others, but elevates the mood to another level. Enjoy.

Amazing quality fish, creative rolls, incredible service. Some of the best sushi I've had - ever. Almost forgot to mention ..unique menu items - freshly grated wasabi, pickled wasabi.Highly recommend.
