This has been on my list to try forever! And I finally shared a lovely birthday meal with family members recently. And why did I wait so long! The service, location and meal were lovely! I had the apple/endive salad but the preparation was outstanding! By making such precise cuts, the salad was the perfect bite with every mouthful. I had a yummy fish dish with beurre blanc and crabmeat. The location is in a converted house which makes for an intimate and enjoyable meal. Parking is on the side streets, as this part of Magazine does not have parking at all.

Wow, what a wonderful surprise. This place has been here 19 years and I've never been here and it is fabulous. Best fish sheepshead I have ever had top with crab meat and a wonderful strawberry cobbler to die for you have to come to Daisy's bistro or bistro daisies

My boyfriend and I came into town to celebrate our anniversary. He knows I love the Garden District and found this gem of a place. Hands down, our favorite meal and experience of the trip. We felt so taken care of and celebrated. The food was incredible. We knew we were amongst friends when we saw other diners share photos with staff and owners and greeted other guests. What a delightful gift this establishment is!

Of all the restaurants we visited during our week long stay in New Orleans, Bistro Daisy stood out as a truly one of a kind establishment in the city. The unassuming exterior keeps a beautiful secret behind its doors. As soon as you walk in, it feels like you've been welcomed into a friends home, with an intimate but lively atmosphere, and among the best service I have had at any restaurant anywhere anywhere in the world. While we waited at the bar for our table to be ready, we were treated to expertly crafted cocktails, and smiling faces all around. After sitting down in the cozy quaint dining room, we were delighted to see all the decorations on the table celebrating my mom's birthday. Each and every dish we had was impeccably crafted, as fresh as I've ever had, and full of flavor and excellent presentation. The daisy salad, seared tuna, and oysters were our favorites of the evening. The thing that really stood out to us was how genuinely happy each and every member of the staff was to be serving us, we felt like we experienced southern hospitality at its very finest. While this place may not be as flashy, loud or well known as many of the other establishments across the city, I guarantee you will not leave this place without a smile on your face.

A hidden gem on Magazine Street in the Garden District. Went for a dinner during a recent trip to New Orleans with friends. Nice to sit in a private alcove in a restaurant in a charming, renovated historic home. So cute and cozy. So many delicious choices for dinner and dessert. Chef Anton creates nightly specials as well. The pumpkin soup special was perfect for a chilly Halloween weekend night. So rich and comforting. Delicious! Hard to choose between the duck and the lamb, but chose the leg of lamb special served on risotto that was recommended by a friend. So tender that it just fell off the bone and melted in your mouth. A great choice. For dessert, the creamsicle baked Alaska is so pretty and so creative. A Meyer lemon sorbet is hidden inside the browned meringue served over a raspberry coulis. The blueberry cobbler was delicious, too. Add a hot tea as a nice way to end the meal. Limited parking, but street parking is available. Make a reservation, the restaurant is small and quite popular. Nice place for dinner in New Orleans.

Best secret resturant place in the city of New Orleans. Chef's dishes are based on freshest of accompanying vegetables and entrees make your mouth water. I'm local and lucky to be able to eat in a lot of varied restaurants here. This is the most unique and delicious of all. Necessary to have reservations. It's small and attention to service is amazing. This is a chef and staff to be aware of because it's amazing.

Nothing special here last visit. Everything was average. Got the specials, escargot and snapper. Escargot was in a brown sauce ladled on romaine lettuce. Snapper had about a thimble of crabmeat on top. Too many good restaurants nearby to go back again anytime soon.
