Big Sexy Neon

Fun stop off the beaten path. The shop owner(s) were very nice and let us look around and take pictures. They don't take donations, but everything is for sale. Very cool selection of neon signs.

OK OK. I finally made it back when they were open. The owner was so friendly that I want to take back the meanness I said before. Yes they are currently open only weekdays, but he is busy trying to wrap up other things and hopes to be open on the weekends soon. Everything was very nice, well organized. It can be used as an event space. They repair neon lights and make their own. Everything for sale seems reasonably priced. I suggest them in case you need a sign or an event venue that is unique.

Quirky place. The perfect place if you want a neon piece. I felt the prices were fair and loved the options that were discussed. The owner was out of town at his sister studio, but the you g man who helped me was super helpful. You can also rent pieces for special events, thats super cool! This would be a super cool place for an event, your eye just dances all over the place. Plenty of curiosities to stimulate your imagination and creativity. Pop in and have a gander, you won't be disappointed.

This is seriously the literal translation of New Orleans as a venue space. Fun, Sexy, Eclectic, and Unique. Had the chance to come inside and enjoy a coffee from La Vie En Rose (situated inside Big Sexy Neon) while I explored the space.Such a f*cking cool spot y'all. I'm typing this review right now admiring all the neon signs. Had the chance to meet Nate Sheaffer who is the owner and founder of Big Sexy Neon. What adds an extra 1000 cool points is he is the neon sign/glass maker for the shop! I found out this is his second studio and he immediately knew upon visiting New Orleans many years ago that his studio would end up here.You can actually rent or purchase the signs he has up and you can even commission a unique piece of signage!Looking for a one-of-a-kind venue space? WELP Big Sexy Neon has you covered because it's available for private event rentals!!Take the time to look around and make sure to head towards the back to see the actual studio where they make the neon signs in-shop. I'm really taking in the full experience and will be back here not only to visit but I'm throwing it out into the universe that I will be attending an event here one way or another.

Innovative & creative... what's not to love about this cool and brilliant display of "Sexy" neon!Nate Sheaffer is a master and one of the few remaining true glass blowers and neon artists in the world. Come marvel at all the wonderful pieces of art, hold a private event or just hang out in the front of the gallery at La Vie En Rose coffee lounge. We recently attended a private event that was over the top. Great atmosphere and open space surrounded by bright neon. We have one of the custom pieces and love it.

Came here and was like heyy, I want to take cool photos at the popping, colorful place, no lie. The owner Nate was very cool about it too! The business also sell and rent their housemade lights for personal or commercial use. Give this place a go if you're interested in their awesome homemade lights and Instagram able photos!

This is hands down the coolest venue in New Orleans!!!! Nate and Dianna create the coolest art you'll ever hang in your homes or businesses!!
