Big EZ Seafood & Oyster

I was in town for a work trip so I decided to try out some of the local fare. Shrimp Po'Boys are one of my fave NOLA treats so I when I searched Yelp, Big EZ Seafood popped up.They have Happy Hour Specials in the afternoons from 2:30P-5:00PM.My Shrimp Po'Boy lunch special (6 in Po'Boy plus small traditional gumbo) was $13.65 I think.

I landed in New Orleans and my first order of business was to have dinner. Thanks to Yelp I picked this restaurant before I left New York.Well this is really more of a Seafood Boil restaurant.I was hoping for something different but since I'm here I might as well go for it.In this case my waitress was extremely nice and helpful.Whatever you order you get garlic noodles or garlic French fries. I chose the noodles which were way more than I expected. U never had these and they were kind of like linguine with garlic and oil. Since I'm an Italian boy I definitely liked these.Next my meal or " Seafood Boil restaurant". I chose shrimp, of course, and king crab legs. Food was good, the recommended spice/ heat level was on point.The price, kind of made me choke but it's a business expense so it was on Uncle Sam, well 40% anyway.No real complaints but next time I'm in New Orleans I would like to try a straight forward Seafood Restaurant with more of a variety.

MY GOD! This place is DELICIOUS. I can't believe I've never been here before. I'm from California and my husband is from louisiana and we are huge foodies - this place blew every sea food place I've tried out of the water. The flavor packed into every bite was insane. Boiled to perfectionnnnn. And the sauces. The garlic butter sauce was so amazing and the cajun mayo sauce was also delicious. We also got the charbroiled oysters which were sooo amazing. I can't wait to go back again and again. And the service! Amazing. Our waiter I forgot his name but he's from Boston, he was so great. We also met another man who worked there, also don't know his name but his parents just got back from France, he was so kind and funny. Truly such an enjoyable experience. Also the ART! The decor is so gorgeous and one of a kind. The music is great too. Such a vibe. This place is a MUST GO. Oh also got some simple garlic noodles for our kids and they were delicioussss.

Such a cute little restaurant with beautiful murals on the wall! We stopped in for a quick bite after leaving the rental car facility and it was almost empty inside. Our server was really kind. It was disappointing that they did not have any oysters which is one of the few items on their happy hour menu. Our meal selections had a lot of meat in it and was full of flavor so that was nice. I would definitely come back for the gumbo.

This place was so good! From the Bay Area, CA . After speaking with the employee at the register; I must agree the flavor in LA is always away from the popular areas. Although my short vacation was mainly exploring NOLA , Im glad I got my last bite here. The Veit sauce was soooo fire! Food in general was good in NOLA but the flavor was everything here. I like a sauce with my seafood and this satisfied me. The ambiance was casual as it should be to truly enjoy your food! Service was great friendly employees. Sides were good too I wish I took more pictures. But it's a good thing because that means my food was fire! Please if you're from the bay (SF,CA 650415510707 area codes) lol and if this is near you go HERE and ask for extra lime lol seafood in general was soo good. I was here my bday weekend unfortunately shared with vday . The seafood wasn't at its peak but we got a great mix with large crawfish everywhere. Also the chicken wings and garlic noodles food was hot as well.

I saw this one posted a few times and finally trying it. Seafood was fresh and they don't play around when they say spicy. It's a little pricey but it's worth it, especially from what I had today. They don't offer specials as good as other similar concepts when it comes to combining seafood but not too much of a deal breaker. Hubs said the oysters were absolutely delicious without the need for all the fancy stuff on it. Check their Facebook for specials (today oysters were half off!) They ask that you make a social media post on fb to receive whatever offer they have going.

Came here with a couple of friends on Sunday for lunch. (They have a happy hour special on the weekdays) It was not busy at 11:30am but it got busier later after 12:30pm. The staff was nice but they could be more efficient on how they take our orders and they missed one of our orders and nearly messed up the orders at the start as well.In terms of the food, the seafood were really fresh and I enjoyed how big the shrimps were. Also the flavors were really good. I recommend getting the garlic fries too, they are so delicious and complements the seafood!Overall, a great experience and recommend to both locals and visitors!!!

My favoriteeeeee place for crawfish! I like how I can alter the spice levels! Mild, viet Cajun is my go to. Everytime. The flavor is . I've also tried their wings, gumbo with grilled cheese, chicken sandwich, chargrilled oysters....all of it's amazing. I always stop by before I go to airport or when I pick my family up from the airport, this is our first stop.

Omg!! The shrimp was hot and fresh. They taste like they had just come out the gulf!! The waiter was very polite and attentive. I dined in around 1:30pm and the restaurant was very calm. When you walk in the smell, makes you want to order everything on the menu.

Needed to find food right after landing in NO. Food just tasted a bit too oily and greasy for my liking. We were thankful he gave us a better cost saving salad option than what we were planning to get. He was attentive and the place was nice and clean. I probably wouldn't come back.
