A must when exploring Louisiana! Our tour guide was wonderful and very informative. This tour on the air boat has made it to my favorite excursion ever. I held a baby alligator. Totally recommend!

We were so excited to go on an airboat and see alligators. The airboat was broken and so we floated in the main canal and one side canal. We started with one boat that was not working and then went back for a "20 second" fix. Well, we switched boats and that one was not any better. We got out to the main canal and it started to go before it stopped again. My husband (a diesel mechanic) told him exactly what he needed for a tool. During the last 12 minutes of the ride, another guy brings out the wrong tool. We got back to the dock. Needless, to say this was not anything that we expected and were very disappointed.

I was questioning if I should go because I thought that I am afraid of alligator but I feel really safe with captain Matt on his boat rides.I saw big alligators sunbathing , turtles and birds . For someone who was born in Moscow Russia and who lives in New York it's a real touch with nature and when you hold a baby alligator you will feel happyI am recommended these tour for everybody who visit New Orleans it's real adventure.

This tour was so much fun and very enlightening for us Californians. All aspects were seemless. Sean picked us up from our hotel and transported us to the dock. The tour guide, another Sean took us on our private adventure. This is a must if you are a tourist. We had a ball. Thanks to all

I was really disappointed in this tour. I have done a different swamp tour with another company in the past and it was great. A friend that was with me had never been on one, so we called in for a reservation when we were in NOLA. The man on the phone told us it was $70. So we booked two spots. During the tour, there was not much action. It was quiet and there were not many gators out. Our guide desperately searched around to find some. He would slow down in some spots looking around but didn't see anything. He stopped and fed a gator some marshmallows in the beginning and then another one towards the end. And that was the jist of the tour. Honestly, it was a bit boring. The guide mentioned that it was mating season and the gators aren't as active during that time (so maybe you shouldn't charge as much during that time?).I later found out (after checking bank statement) that the man on the phone charged us $95 a person. Perhaps there was a miscommunication but I would not have agreed to doing the tour for that price. I was disappointed thinking I paid $70, so when I found out I actually paid $95 it was a bit gut-wrenching. I am a very well-traveled individual and I can tell you - this was not worth that cash. I called to inquire on why the total was $95 a person when I was told on the phone it was $70. The man couldn't give me an answer to this. I informed him that I was very disappointed but he did not seem to care either. The other tour I went on a few years ago let us hold a baby gator at the end. That was not the case here.If you want to see some gators in a natural setting - I highly recommend going to Jean LaFitte park. We saw 7-8 ft. gators right up along the walking path. It was a beautiful swamp experience and better yet, it was free!

We were visiting New Orleans with 6 other friends for the Cardinals vs Saints game and HAD to get a swamp tour in while we were there. We chose Big Easy and absolutely loved it!! Captain Chris was beyond amazing and made the experience even better. We got our own private boat and truly enjoyed every minute of the tour. Would 100% recommend to anyone looking for a tour of the bayou!!

Went a few years ago and just didn't want to be associated with the review. Terrible tour guide. We boated past several signs indicating the area beyond was nature reserve, no access, no fishing, no airboats...etc. Tour guide loudly bragged about how he would go in all the time to fish because it was nice and quiet in there. Then he spent a good 15 minutes hating on "city folk". Hates New Orleans (but he lives there?), doesn't understand how the "city folk" can walk around the alleys that "stink of piss and vomit" everyday. Lovely. Also, the guy kept repeatedly targeting the one black kid on our boat, calling him fat and "alligator bait". Made a joke about feeding him instead of marshmellows to lure the bigger crocodiles out (seriously?).Don't go here.
