Big Al's Seafood Market & Grill

Ambiance is ok. Staff and owner are nice. Food is aight. Boiled crawfish has a good spice. Crabmeat Big Al's on Toated Points tasted like tuna fish on French bread. Hamburger medium well was so so. The patty is a little fat and had a nice flame broiled taste, but it was hard to really enjoy because it was charred old a lot. The kids chicken tenders were fried too hard and the fries that came with the hamburger, chicken tenders, and the extra side I ordered, come with season-all and not fried hard. I ordered all of this to go, so next time I may eat inside. If you use a credit/debit card, there is a surcharge because of the company that charges them. So you may want to bring cash if it bothers you. They've been open for 3 months. There's some room for improvement. I'll try it again.

We're so sad that we were in such a rush because this place is absolutely amazing! We got here and our table was already set for us! We were greeted to nothing but smiles, and the owner Big Al himself took real good care of us. We got the seafood gumbo, fish and chips, and the fish po boy. All three things were delightful! We will definitely be coming back!

I have eaten here several times since new. As with any new place they have improved since day one. Staffing changes and such have been for the better. Last lunch special I had was Shrimp Parmesan, Fettuccini Alfredo and Artichoke Casserole. One of the most impressive things I have had in a restaurant in a while. The onion rings are top notch as well.2 things I can say about Big Al:#1- most people will be happy with his boiled seafood.#2 - I think his oyster are as good a it gets.Chef Mario of Cafe DiBlasi fame is working some magic on the Italian dishes. I had some good lasagna there recently. I think the marinara is a strong point.In full disclosure I do have ties to the place, but nothing that would influence my review.I probably eat there every week or two.

If you want great boiled seafood and fresh fried seafood this is the spot. Off the beaten path but worth the trip. Oyster Po Boy is one of the best. Interior is very nice . Don't let the outside scare you away. Clean well remodeled and comfortable resturant. Crab Ball appetizer is great. Give it a try you will see a diverse crowd business people, everyday families, elected official, Judges. Sure to see someone you know and get a good meal.

This place is ridiculously Good, reasonably price with a varied menu, great service, located in former boom area of the Westbank, Peter's Road. It is worth trying and like me you will be pleasantly surprised and become a somewhat regular.
