Great service and the wait staff was wonderful taking care of our orders. I had a hot sausage poboy, delicious. Not too hot, right size, hot French fries. Very very good

Getting to Bienvenue on a Sunday morning was a little underwhelming. What brunch place is dead on Sunday morning? I liked the vibes - the low volume music, the wood accents - but there were hardly any other people.The reason for that, I can only assume, is the food. Everything was fine - nothing actively bad and each item was fairly well cooked - but it was all under seasoned. The best thing was the toast followed by the crab cake Benedict. But overall everything seemed pretty under salted. So it is probably a great place to go if you're watching your salt intake.

Bienvenue translates as "welcome" in French and they definitely welcome you here with their delicious offerings of contemporary Creole cuisine and variety of fresh Southern dishes. This Creole restaurant is noted for their great daily specials and is very popular for their brunch lunch and dinner offerings. They also have quite a notable burger you might also consider sampling. The service here has also always been really friendly and great here. Overall this is a really great option and they constantly offer different specials along with their regular menu. Okay, off the bat, I would've never thought to go here only because it's in the middle of nowhere. HOWEVER, it was freaking so good! This restaurant is like a Cajun Creole concept family friendly type. Definitely something for those days you don't want to cook. The service was good, fast and efficient. Food was comforting especially the steak sandwich. It wasn't a typical steak sandwich, shaved steak pressed but it was phenomenal with the au jus. I could've drank that au jus. Next, the catfish were fried to perfection and the crab cakes were FIRE! I don't usually love crab cakes so this is saying a lot.

When in the Harahan or Elmwood area, take the time to stop in for a delicious treat. The days special was BBQ Shrimp Po Boy when was an excellent choice along with a cup of their crawfish and corn bisque while the wife had the Cuban and my bite took me back to my year in Tampa. Service was exceptional, I never had to ask for a refill so I know they were keeping tabs on things, and overall a clean and inviting environment.

I've been twice and both times everything we tried had great flavor! I was on the fence about the fresh fish with cream sauce because of the corn in the sauce. I do wish you could order without the corn, but it doesn't seem to affect the flavor.One of our family members said the hamburger steak is the best he's ever had.I personally wouldn't order the almond crusted shrimp- the almonds are just too chunky and does affect the flavor. Highly recommend the boudin balls, debris fries and crawfish egg rolls

They weren't ready to serve about 30 women. The table wasn't set. One woman was told that if she got up one more time that the server was going to lose it. Rude behavior by the young girl that seemed to be a helper. Really sad day for the group's Christmas lunch

They closed thirty minutes early and we had to go somewhere else. We didn't get to try the food. From the outside it looked dark and cheap furniture.

Great place! The staff is great and food is amazing. Taco Tuesdays and get the fried shrimp. You'll thank me later!

Highly recommend! Visiting on business staying in "airport" hotel. This quaint little restaurant has a family feel, great service and a place I would definitely return to. I had the crab and corn chowder as well as the Catch Noel (which happened to be speckled trout tonight). Both were very flavorful and excellent! The roasted veggies some of the best I've ever tasted! Thanks for a great experience Jimmy! Nice to meet you!
