I guess I was expecting a lot when I saw the prices. But I was going to introduce some friends to some yummy Cajun food, so I got a chicken stuffed with crawfish and shrimp, and there was zero crawfish and shrimp in it. So disappointing! This is my first and last time I'll be coming here.. Sorry, this should be under their store.

The location on the map was wrong and we drove past it at first. So glad we saw it in the way to the freeway because it is worth the stop. Boudin was amazing and the crawfish pie was good too. Really hit the spot as well as affordable. There is plenty of seating in the back and you can grab some from the freezer to take with you.

I was not pleased with my shrimp being fried almost to a crisp. The seasoning was good but I was not happy. When I told the young man, he said well what's wrong with it ? I said do you see how hard they are fried? He said yeah it looks like friend shrimp. Ok. I just took this one as an L and know that I won't be coming back and will tell everyone I know to do the same.

I stopped in from outta town, (12-8-22) was specifically wanting to try their hog cracklins. IT WAS THE BEST EVER!! I've bought cracklins from Don's in Scott LA for years. But haven't been too happy with the taste the last few times. But this place?! WOW! Great tasting and fresh!! I will be buying more! I love that its not too spicy or too hard to chew. And not too salty! I tried a few other cooked foods and it was all very good too! I had never even heard of this place til a few weeks ago but I WILL NEVER FORGET IT! The employees were also VERY FRIENDLY and just the whole place had a really good atmosphere. Keep up the good work! May the Lord bless you all!

Randomly saw this place while on my way somewhere else and decided to stop. Pleasantly surprised! I didn't get photos of the star of the show..the smoked meats!! Delicious. Very well seasoned ..I liked the chicken cracklins and the pepper jack egg roll boudin wraps were pretty good too.

Great foods. Tasso was awesome. If ur passing thru Port Allen it's a must stop. I been going here for yrs.

We were traveling and stopped for lunch recently in June 2023. We ordered boudin balls, Delicious and meaty. The Red Beans with rice bowl was my favorite; the beans had little pieces of sausage, with a side of baked potato casserole was really, really good. The cracklins were really good too. I wanted to get some spicy ones but didn't see any. The frozen section had alligator, and deer which was surprising to me. The Sweet tea was the perfect drink to order. We had a very good time.

Large barn with tables in an adjacent room. You order and pickup at the counter and then go sit and eat. Had the meat pie and boudin balls. Loved the spice mix on each. They also had lots of frozen items to pick up for later. Looked good. Drinks were either from a serve yourself fountain machine or bottled drinks. Nice local flavor, nothing fancy. Servers were very nice.

This is a go to spot on the west side of Baton Rouge. Everything is just like mama makes it...cooked with love.

Food is pretty good. Service is inconsistent at times everyone isn't as welcoming as others.
