Bens Pizza

I didnt really like pizza , the sauce has no taste so to me its a tasteless pizza , but the staff is friendly

I'll give this pizza joint 3 stars for the good service and speed. The buzz's itself was not good. The pineapples taste as if it was spoiled and the toppings were just lumped on there. The crust was thin and dry but the cheese was good! I wish I had a better experience but.... I don't think I'll try this one again

I really don't have much too say as I ordered the tamales to go and picked them up. I wasn't really sure what to expect as I've never had hot tamales before. I ordered a dozen hot tamales. They were really flavorful and perfect amount of spice. I would definitely pick these up again if I'm around town. Would recommend anyone to try them also.

I love the roast beef sandwich. The woman that works there makes it good. The shrimp sandwich is nasty

Not so great. The pizza crust taste like pre-Made frozen hard crust. The wop salad was iceberg with olives and pizza topping.... I gave it 2 stars because the staff were nice and i think the pizza toppings were decent quality.

This is a no frills kind of place. The decor is non-existent other than the picture of Roger Goodell with the words "Do Not Serve this Man" on the wall. There are a few poker machines, a few more cheap tables and chairs and that's about it.With that being said, all of the food is decent to solid except for the pizza. I know that's odd as the name of the place is Ben's PIZZA! Now granted I only had the pizza once but it tasted more Digiorno like than hand tossed in a restaurant like. The rest of the food though I like. They have a decent list of po-boys, I usually get the meatball or fried ham. They always bake the meatball po boy after so that the cheese melts and the bread gets browned around the edges. Perfect! They have the usual shrimp, roast beef and erster poyboys as well. (Yes I typed 'erster', they don't say Oyster in Da Parish). They also have a very good Muffaletta. The olive salad is great! The fries and onion rings are blah as they are frozen but they don't charge you a lot for them either.Forgot to mention they also have tamales and a Wop salad. You won't find that name in many places in this politically correct world then again Da Parish doesn't follow those sort of rules. The people are super friendly and fast at both Ben's locations. I prefer the one in Arabi so I can take my sandwich across the street to The Battlefield and eat it in peace.

Sadly some of you think this is the best pizza. Maybe 20 years ago but not now. And I dare you to call barstool taste test. They will give them a miserable rating . I come from a pizza back ground and can tell you this is solely in business because of what they once were... might be time to consider retirement

Love love love Bens. If only barstool sports and El Presidents himself (Dave Portnoy) could come taste for himself. Pepperoni with sausage, black olives and jalapeño peppers. I've been eating their that way for 37 years. A must try

Delicious pizza and salad. Staff was extremely nice and attentive. We had a supreme and the crust was thin and crisp. Will definitely grab pizza here next time we are in town.

Wish I could give no stars. Horrible service and food arrived cold and tasteless. I don't recommend you waste your money.
