Bateau's Seafood

Boy, I stopped here to get some bugs for lunch. They came right out of the water hot and quite spicy. I got them home. They were very juicy and really nice size crawfish. I think they're about $4.50 a pound.

The only place in the past 6 years that I would go to to purchase live. They are always a great size and reasonably priced. They have even made sure to personally open on a day they would have normally been closed (Super Bowl Sunday) so that I could purchase an extra sack of crawfish for my event.

Cheapest place around but half your crawfish are smashed or dead. My potatoes has huge pits in them from where they say too long before being boiled. Almost like they boiled rotten potatoes. I threw all of them away. The crawfish, what was edible, had an okay flavor but next to no kick. For every 2 I ate, I had to throw away one. Will not be back.

The men working here were friendly, however the boiled crawfish were very mediocre. I didn't care for the potatoes. I would try other crawfish around town before coming back here.

Some of the best crawfish around!BF carried home some 10lbs of crawfish the other night and what a glorious night it turned out to be.The one complaint I have and it's very possible it's not Bateau's fault is the boiled shrimp was overcooked. Now it could be because the shrimp had to wait to be eaten until we chowed down on the crawfish.I did not personally go to Bateau's so can't comment on the location but the crawfish, oh yeah, good stuff! and reasonable prices IMHO. 10lbs for $27I'm thinking this will be our "go to" place for weekend chow downs on the back deck.

Crawfish was a bit salty & the boiled shrimp were soggy, mealy & hard to peel. I should have known, as they were in a pan filled with reddish liquid, that I'm assuming was the boil water. Neither was hot, barely warm.

Competitive prices, very helpful, super friendly and we always get great crawfish from them. Highly recommended

Bought live crawfish, they loaded them up, I should have looked at them. Got them home, very small, a bunch of dead ones and they had clumps and clumps of dirt. I had to wash them forever to get them halfway clean. Will never buy from this place again, buyer beware it's a really bad place to get crawfish from, they were more expensive than Winn Dixie, Acquistaplace, Mandeville seafood but at a worse quality. Terribly disappointed and won't be back.

The people there have always been great, I need something they get it. I travel 33 miles out my way to buy from them.

Fantastic!!!! Great flavor! What more can I say!? The guys were friendly and inside the store there is a selection of sauces, beer, and other foods to make a complete meal!
