Bao Mi

Did an order pickup here because I was 1. in and rush and 2. because I was tired of my friend posting this place on IG and it did not disappoint. The bao buns were so soft and the chicken was really juicy. I can't wait to fully try this place.

I was really surprised, but the portion size is pretty good. The cut must be chicken thighs, because it was pretty juicy, but it's definitely dark meat. It also has a pinch of carrots and cucumbers in the bowl as well. The food took about 10 or 15 minutes to come out. They have some indoor seating, so I ate at the countertop that's at the window/wall. Best part is that it's on a side street off of Tulane, so no paid parking. Yes!!!

Great food, service was okay, ambiance was what they could make of it. The flavors of the food, and the visuals were a two for one. They definitely made up for it in the product that I came for and that was all that mattered at the time. It's really small inside and they made great use of the available square footage for seating purposes. It's definitely a grab and go kind of place. So calling and ordering ahead is probably best. If you're into the whole bao movement this is definitely a must try. If not they still have something for you to try. You'll be surprised, and satisfied it will be a great collaboration for your taste buds.

I ordered the Sampler. I chose the pork belly, pew pew shrimp, and the kfc. They were made fresh to order. All three of these were delicious!! Seriously you can't go wrong with any of those choices. If I had to rank them:3. Shrimp2. KFC1. Pork bellyThey were all good but the pork belly was just next level flavorful. I can't wait to try their other options!!

I had the Shrimp Bowl and it was so delicious! The food was fresh and there were a tons of different flavors and it felt very healthy. The restaurant is really accessible from downtown hospital area so it is easy to stop by and pick up a to go order.

I've been here twice and really enjoyed the food both times. I visited here most recently on yesterday and ordered the lemongrass chicken vermicelli bowl that comes with a delicious sauce that you can pour over it. I also ordered the shrimp spring rolls that come with a tasty peanut sauce. The food is so flavorful. It's not a big place but there are tables and so we ate inside. We also managed to find street parking. The staff person who took my order at the counter was friendly. This is a place that I will likely come to again and again.

The kfc sliders were ok...I would return to try something else..but I was not impressed.

Food was fresh and tasted so good. I ordered over the phone and my order was ready when I arrive. Nice window view and the perfect stop for a quick bite to eat.

Amazing! We ordered the pew pew bahn mi, the grilled pork bahn mi, the combo spring rolls, & the bulgogi bao. The food was so delicious! My daughter swears the pork bahn mi was the best she's ever had but I fell in love with the pew pew bahn mi which is their version of bang bang shrimp. It was absolutely delicious. The spring rolls were great but my absolute fav were the bulgogi bao buns. What amazing flavors and the buns were golden and slightly crispy on the outside which I have never seen before. It added the perfect amount of texture and just made everything so good. I might dream about them, lol. Just go and check them out!

Great lunch spot near hospitals on Tulane Ave. I got the combo Bao so that I could taste as many as possible. They were all delicious.
