I really like this place. Spent some time talking with Kelly and a few other very helpful ladies who found a bunch of escutcheons and knobs that were very specific. If you know what you want, they can help you find it in their impressive selection of hardware. I'm always on the lookout for specific hardware for my restoration projects. I seem to find something every time I come in. Looking forward to getting to doors and shutters sometime soon. Thanks for all the help, ladies!

Most businesses that want to make money and care abt their customers actually keep regular hours and stay open at posted times. Not this place. It's Mardi Gras with thousands of tourists in town an no parades. We had maybe $2000 in our pockets and needed a door today. Guess this place dint need it.The front doors were locked at 2:20 sign said closed at 3. We watched at least 6 other people knocking and tapping on glass besides us. But no these guys were home on the couch counting their overpriced gains. Or maybe it was an emergency and no one knew how to write " Sorry had to close early come back in 5 days after Mardi Gras. Why post a sign I say? Just announce open by appointment only. Or maybe be honest and say " only open sometimes when we feel like it" That way the rest of us who work hard, have real jobs and are on deadlines won't drive through the swamp or horrific city traffic with road blocks and potholes and waste gas. Happy Mardi Gras Bank! Hope you are out partying for the rest of us. We know when your suppliers lock you out you won't complain right?I guess we should be thanking them for deciding we could actually pick up the hardware ( at a store with regular hours) to fix our current front door and put in a new security system instead. See how things work out? Everyone wins.

Bought a new home and needed some hinges for my new,old French doors. Visit the hardware room to find so many different items. Doors, iron pieces, hardware, fireplace mantels, you name it's probably here. So much history stored in this wonderful space.

BYER BEWARE!!! These people at The Bank are the most incompetent and RUDE people I have ever dealt with. They never delivered the $1,320 doors we bought in July as agreed to and promised. We even paid $100 for delivery. I had to call to postpone the delivery ONCE because my contractor was not ready. We came to measure all the doors AND confirm the delivery date. That date came and doors did not come. They said my wife kept canceling the delivery FOUR times!!! I called to get this sorted out and they kept telling me the doors were getting delivered on Friday, then Tuesday or the next day. No one ever called me back. Not once! I had to drive there today to find out IF my doors were getting delivered today. I wasn't on "the list"! I started to complain to their "guy" and the moron at the store said I'm on "his" list in his head or go get a U-hall and get the doors. He kept laughing like some kind of demented fool. Then he told me BOTH trucks are in the shop and will get delivered tomorrow! I left very unhappy and then I went back to cancel the order and the woman in the office shouts "JESUS CHRIST" at me. I cancelled the order and was told to wait outside to got a refund by CHECK. Worst business and bunch of idiots I have dealt with in a long time. They were so "nice" when my wife and I first came to look at and bought these doors. Yes I am now very angry...

I cannot tell you how much I love the Bank. It's my happy place! The owners and staff are super friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. The selection of architectural salvage is spectacular. They have helped me to find countless cypress doors, Eastlake doors, clawfoot tubs, cast iron sinks, corbels, mantels, hardware galore (the fella who restores all the hardware is excellent). I have also found some of my favorite antique mirrors and art at the Bank. DON'T BUY NEW. Go to the Bank and restore your home with the right piece of history and quality. They will also restore, rebuild, repair doors to any custom size you need. The work is high quality. Can not recommend this place enough. They have helped to make my home a work of art.

Nice place to get one of a kind fixtures and pieces. I would of liked to see more nautical boat parts like hatches and windows. Overall it's a good place.

We used the Bank to strip some shutters and doors at our old house and they did a great job. I also spent hours one afternoon hunting for a matching doorknob to complete a set (Yes, I have OCD. Why do you ask?)The random vintage salvage stuff that is available is just amazing.

Prices were steeper than their competitors down the road. Owner was amazing, but other family members were a bit rude and gave the impression that we were nothing them. Lots of items not priced and required asking employees for pricing. O

We used the Bank to build us new shutters and it was a disaster! They did not fit properly and Sean came out multiple times and took them back for adjustments that never corrected the issue. We finally gave up and hired a carpenter to correct them. Geez! Total RIP OFF!
