The food is ALWAYS good! It's my fav Thai spot! I went to my go to appetizer, BBQ oyster, served with a side of roti, but one is never enough I always ask for more, I like to dip it in the sauce. I was trying to go for an entree but I got a cup of soup also & that filled me up! The Thai tea never disappoints! I wanted to take the trio crème brûlée home but it comes with a deposit !?? Lol apparently they want their dish back, so I left with out it, maybe next time. The space is small but room for a couple big parties, they also do full service at the bar. The service was a 3, just literally to take your order and serve the food, a in & out type of service, nothing more. The 5 stars were strictly for the food and drink.

I dined here on a Friday evening around 5:30 pm. Everything was great! Service was friendly, attentive, and quick. Decorum was also fancy and clean. I ordered their Roti ($7.00) as an appetizer, their Smoked Pork Belly Ramen ($15.00) as a small entree, and the Nutella Roti ($9.00) & Thai Tea Ice Cream ($8.00) as the desserts. I also got their regular Thai Tea ($5.00) as my drink.Their Smoked Pork Belly Ramen was so juicy, tender, & flavorful. The tangy bbq sauce added so much to the dish in a good way. Roti was good as always. The Thai Tea Ice Cream was so rich and had enough variety for the price. This restaurant can be pricy, but since it's considered a fancy restaurant I'd say the quality is worth the price. I'd come back on a good occasion! Also, there is only street parking, which I didn't really mind since it's located in a somewhat safe neighborhood, but I just wanted to give everyone a heads up.

Banan Blossom feels like a tropical vacation in your mouth. Their Thai cuisine is vibrant, fresh, and full of personality, just like your cool foodie friend who knows all the hidden gems . The Roti Bread? A perfect balance of butter and curry on perfectly made soft sweet bread--it'll slap your taste buds awake. And the Crab Claws? So rich and fragrant, you'll want to cuddle up with them on a rainy day. Pro tip: use the sauce from the crab claws with the Chicken Tacos--it's beyond amazing, stealing the spotlight every time. This spot is a must for flavor adventurers!Check out my IG page for more on Banana Blossom at @average_people_eating

Banana Blossom has easily become one of my favorite Thai restaurants. They take the flavors of traditional Thai food (which is already amazing) up a couple notches. On our most recent visit, I took my stepdad who had never tried Thai food (what a shame). I tried to order a bunch of different options for him to try but since he's on a weight loss journey, I ordered the shrimp shumai to start. He loved it! Then he order the Thai bbq wings and kimchi fried rice. I didn't get to try any because he devoured it so quickly. It's ok though because I ordered the Chang Mai curry with the coconut shrimp. A match made in Thai food heaven. I danced in my seat and couldn't help the huge grin from spreading across my face because the food is just that good. After savoring, I washed it down with my usual Thai tea. I also ordered to soup to go for my mom. Sadly, they were out of mango sticky rice but it's for the best because my stepdad isn't the only one who needs to be watching his waistline.

Banana Blossom is such a great restaurant .. I've literally been thinking about the sauce for the Chiang Mai Noodle Smoked Wings ever since my first bite! The wings were smoky, tender, and perfectly coated in a rich, flavorful sauce that left me wanting more. I also tried the fried ribs, and they were absolutely amazing and packed with flavor. To round things out, I had the roti, which was flaky, buttery, and the perfect complement to the meal. Every dish was executed with such care and bold, authentic flavors. This restaurant is an absolute must-try if you're ever in the area. That said, make sure you get there early because seating fills up fast. If you arrive later, be prepared to wait or consider ordering to go but trust me, it's completely worth it. From the welcoming atmosphere to the incredible food, this place is a must try that you NEED to add to your list if visiting the area.

Another easy 5-star review! All Yelpers should get excited about visiting Banana Blossom. The entire staff is extremely friendly and will proactively recommend entrees for you to try if it's your first visit. Get there as soon as they open (5pm) to ensure there is no wait and try the early bird discounted appetizers. The steamed dumplings, fried ribs, and the Thai shrimp pasta are some of my favorites. The bartenders make a very good old fashioned. There is also a huge dessert selection. While waiting for your food your food to arrive, pay attention to the details inside the dining room such as the fresh flowers and art on display. Nice reusable takeout "food prep" containers are given for leftovers or takeout orders. Say hello to the owner Jimmy while you are there! Eat local and enjoy.

We loved the menu that used recipes with flavor and light blends of Asian fusion. The oat milk Thai iced tea wasn't as sweet as what I am accustomed to, but I appreciated the use of oat milk. Service was a bit slow, although it was prime lunch hour...we did have to ask around for a box and out check. The cuisine did not disappoint.

9/27/24 Recently went back to Banana Blossom for happy hour. We tried the shrimp shumai, which tasted very good, like a shrimp dumpling, however wasn't a fan of the spongy texture it had to it. We also got the egg rolls, which were good, but pretty basic egg rolls, nothing mind blowing other than the plum sauce it came with which was DELICIOUS. House margarita was just a regular margarita. Wasn't too happy with Banana Blossom's happy hour menu, it was small and not great deals. Probably won't attend for happy hour again, none of my favorites are on it anyway. Although not on the happy hour menu, I did get to try a new (or returning) dish on the menu, Thai Crawfish Pasta small plate and it was heavenly. Definitely my new favorite item on the menu. I don't normally get crawfish pasta since it often doesn't come fresh, but these tasted VERY fresh. Can't say to how it reheats as leftovers... there were none. We split it between the two of us, perfect portion. Crawfish pasta saved my 6th banana blossom visit!

First visit to Banana Blossom! In a word, Superb! The food was excellent, flavors that you'll immediately know you'll be back for more. Service was very good no complaints at alland although it can get noisy (diners and very loud conversations) at least you know you're in a lively environment with a comfortable ambiance. With all my reviews I validate cost to food quality and portions. I have no complaints on ANY item we ordered regardless of the price. I say for what you get, the taste the quality and portions, the pricing matched perfectly. It really is that good. I hope you experience the same.
