Avenue Scooters

I live 2 hrs away from this shop (unfortunately no Vespa shop in Hattiesburg). I spoke at least twice with someone in the shop before I brought my scooter. I explained them what the problem was and was told to bring it in. So I did. Few days later the shop called me and said we don't want to be "liable for any missing parts and we can't look at " What ?? I told them that I wouldn't keep them liable ror anything since their shop was my last hope to get this scooter going. The owner said it was going to cost at least $1,000 to fix it. (Mind the scooter costs 2K). The owner was worried more about reviews, then even trying to help, taking into consideration I brought it from another state and spent the whole day , Unprofessional. Look for another place where they would care and at least would try to fix your problem. (especially when I was ready to pay for their service no matter what). Disappointing experience to say the least.

Let me start by saying this was my first time riding a scooter and riding a scooter in the city. This company was not only extremely kind and courteous but went over and beyond to make sure myself and everyone in my party were extremely pleased. If you want to tour the city of New Orleans, this is the company you need to rent from. I enjoyed the user-friendly scooters and will certainly be returning once I visit the city again.

Can't recommend renting scooters from here enough. Stop whatever you're doing the next time you're in town or have friends in town and rent scooters here one afternoon. Jim and his staff are so friendly and make you feel super comfortable as a first time scooter rider. It's a really fun NOLA activity and something different than the typical touristy stuff.

Worst scooter repair ever. I went on 2 occasions and had to wait extra weeks. Also customer service is subpar. I wouldn't recommend anyone frequent this store

If only there were more stars. I cannot recommend Avenue Scooters enough. Jim and his team were incredible to us. We went to New Orleans for a bachelorette party and had an absolute blast scooting around the city. Best.Service.Ever!!! Vroom vroom!

I rented Scooters for the day from Avenue scooters and had an all around perfect experience. Their bikes are in great condition and are so much fun to ride, the staff running the store is professional and beyond kind, and they run a great operation! If you're looking to rent or buy a scooter, this is your place!

Getting around on a scooter is probably the best way to tour New Orleans, especially the Quarter. Don't doubt it, just do it! You will love it. The 50cc scoot got me and my wife around just fine and was very easy to get used to. We plan on coming back every time we visit.

Go anywhere else besides this place due to their negligence I almost lost my life 2 months for them to give me my Vespa back in worse of a condition than it was in when they got it

The staff at Avenue Scooters is wonderful, from the mechanic Adam, to the office staff, they are attentive, knowledgeable, and friendly. The owner has gone above and beyond to provide my scooter with parts. Communication via text and phone is always on point. They've fixed my scooter twice and are quick and very fair with pricing. Lucky to have them in the city. Many thanks!!

Rude and unprofessional, owner yelled from the back at me like I was his stepchild. Did not honor over the phone quote. What a joke! This place absolutely sucks.Although, I was offered a free Hubig's Pie. I took it and my business somewhere else. Thanks for the Hubigs!
