Spent morning at this old fashioned candy/praline place. Had an array of pralines, and local items. Great for gift giving and a lil but pricey worth it. Friendly staff. When available you can watch them making the pralines through the window.

This is one our fav souvenir shops, we don't eat pralines so never bought any here, therefore cannot review on that. As for a souvenir shop, we like that they have all the essentials and a good local seasoning selections. It's located only couple doors down from Cafe Du Mont, very close to all attractions, and convenient to access.

A French Quarter standard. Had these when I lived there pre-Katrina. Glad they are still going strong. A friend brought me some pralines from a recent visit. Pure heaven. Keep going strong!

Pleasant customer service! A must-stop gift/souvenir shop while visiting NOLA! I bought a 12 pack box of Aunt Sally's Creamy Classic Creole Pralines to share with my family, a vintage postcard of the French Quarter for my sister, and a bottle of Crystal Hot Sauce on two different visits during my travels in NOLA. The famous pralines are creamy, richly sweet, and a satisfying dessert treat. The hot sauce is awesome. A lot of restaurants we dined at had this same hot sauce and as it was my first time trying this brand of Louisiana hot sauce, I loved it and wanted to bring a bottle of it home. Recommended stop for some pralines, hot sauce, postcards, and more!!

We had read a lot of reviews suggesting this place, so imagine our surprise when we walked in and saw an woman behind the counter picking her nose. And not like a scratch, like she was mining for resources in there. So disgusting. She didn't notice us, but oh, we noticed her. We went to Southern Candymakers instead.

Really good pralines. They are soft and not chewy. They carry a variety pack with different flavors. There's lots of other items, such as souvenirs like magnets and gift items.

Before our trip to NOLA, a family member told us to find the pralines near Cafe Du Monde. They were happy to hear that Aunt Sally's is still around since it'd been over 10 years since they visited and couldn't remember the name.We were able to purchase an assorted box of 6 (creamy & classic) to try and bring some as gifts since they're individually packaged. I'd never had a praline before so I wasn't sure what to expect. The best way I can describe it is a pecan + caramel cookie. The classic was very sweet. I give the creamy version the edge, it has molasses added to it. My favorite flavor was the Bananas Foster! Cafe Au Lait was okay, added a dimension of a coffee flavor.

hands down THE best pralines I've ever had. I like the soft traditional style. BTW - did you know Bucee's used to sell these?! Sadly no more post Covid, so I had to go to NOLA to get my own .The store itself is full of the standard tourist souvenirs, but it's a cute country style store. But the pralinessssss......yummmmmm!
