It's Pho time! I dipped into Boomtown Casino for a little slots n such. I wasn't particularly hungry, but as I left, I could smell the enticing aroma pf pho. The actual restuarant is closed, so they have set up sort of temporary, pop up type station. Only a few food options are offered right now.Once they told me they could pack my Pho to go, I was sold. Boomtown still allows smoking..GROSS...and I don't like eating in a smoky venue so I was glad I was able to take it to go. I ordered the beef brisket pho. It was sliced a lil weird to me but it was VERY flavorful. My sprouts didn't seem super fresh but they were fine when added to the broth. Everything was nicely packed and the taste of everything was really good. Jalapeno peppers were really fresh and packed a punch. This was a nice alternative to all of the heavier food options offered in Boomtown.

Had a sample appetizer to go. Average, run if the mill. Went again the following evening with a comp at 9:50PM & they wouldn't seat us because they closed at 10. Said I could place a to go order. Tried to order duck, they were out, then tried to order the shaken beef, they were out. Got disgusted & left. This restaurant, the buffet & the main fine dining restaurant were all closed. Only a grab & go sandwich shop was open. Hello ??? This is a casino, how do you not have a restaurant open past 10:00 ? I've never been to a casino that didn't have a sit down dining restaurant open until at least midnight. Ridiculous for a casino to not have food available for a hungry gambler. Good luck with that casino model, don't wonder what happened to your clientele.

Summary: Food- 5 starsService- 4 starsAmbiance/Layout- 1 starOverall- 3 starsAsia is a phenomenal Asian restaurant with an ecclectic mix of chinese, vietnamese, and Japanese dishes that they all seem to make exceptionally well (usually, one genre suffers in multi-genre restaurants). The restaurant is small, and we almost missed it in Boomtown's layout. Their entrance is also super confusing as there is no "please seat yourself sign" but there is also no hostess stand, just 4 chairs in this little circle "lobby." We stood there awkwardly with several waiters and waitresses walking past is for a good 8 minutes before someone even acknowledged us, handed us a number, and told us to take a seat. After several more minutes waiting, and observing many open tables, we were finally seated. Our actual waitress was very quick to come talk to us and get our drink orders, but everything seemed rushed, especially when it came time to placing our orders. It was cramped inside the restaurant and our table was literally one foot away from the tables to our left and right, so we heard literally everything everyone else was talking about, and they heard ours, even though we were whispering. We ordered, and our food came out just as quickly as we ordered it, it seemed (again, going back to that rushed feel I was talking about). But the cake topper was the Asian couple next to us who materialized out of nowhere with take-out food they had opened and started eating at the table next to us, it let to a discussion with the waitress who was rightfully confused, and then the Asian woman got up, stomped off and started SCREAMING at the cashier lady in what I managed to make out was Mandarin (wish I knew more, better to make out what she was screaming about, but she was talking so fast). Anyways this continued for several minutes with the cashier lady speaking to her and trying to calm her down, she came and sat down for a few minutes, then got back up and went back to the kitchen area and started SCREAMING over the food service area at the chef... Like... I don't even know what to make of this. It was so disruptive, and this woman was literally screaming at the top of her lungs during our entire meal. Our waitress apologized for the fuss, but by that point it was hard to hold a conversation, let alone enjoy our meal. The food was great though. We got the appetizer sampler, and my husband got the General Tso's combination plate, which came with egg roll and fried rice, and I had their Asia's crispy egg noodles (which is like a fried noodle nest topped with chicken, beef, shrimp, and veggies in a brown sauce). Portions were good for the price, and it was worth the drive out to Boomtown (if we still lived on the Westbank). So if you want to come have some fun, gamble, and not spend a ton of moneu on the buffet, this is a good option! I still just can't get over the tiny screaming lady.

I only eat here if I have casino comps and don't have to pay for the food. Otherwise, I would never pay actual money for it nor would I ever go out of my way to eat here. It's tiny and way overpriced. The layout is odd; half of the tables are inside the restaurant and the other tables are outside of the restaurant but gated in. The food is hit or miss and just depends on who's in the kitchen. I've had good food from here before and below average food on other occasions, so I never really know what to expect. We went here for dinner on Christmas Day because nowhere else around was open, and every dish we ordered was disappointing. We ordered three noodle dishes. Each dish came out dry and lacking flavor and the overall presentation was sloppy. We had the shaken beef dish and it looked like someone had placed the beef on the dish and then removed some of it because there was sauce splattered everywhere and the portion looked small. They ran out of silverware so we were given plastic utensils - this just looks really bad at any restaurant. Like I mentioned earlier, I didn't have to pay for it so it wasn't as big of a deal. They could probably work on improving a lot of things but I don't have much hope since it's inside of a casino.

First time here I wasn't impressed but the comps kept coming. It's pretty good food across the board. It's not gonna win any Michelin stars, but you will leave full, and probably with leftovers. Been 10 times and never had a wait to be seated... Foods always out in 10 minutes... The servers are pretty on point... And we all know we go because it's comped... So eat up or get it to go...it's pretty darn edible.

ive dined here a few times but recently we ordered 2 party size trays of combination fried rice and asia wings with butter garlic sauce for a christmas party. it was a big hit for 80 dollars you can feed almost 30 peeps.seating is pretty limited so i suggest you order the hot and sour tamarind soup and twin lobster with either black pepper or ginger-scallion sauce to go which is also a great deal for $50.95

Food is average, nothing to brag about. Service is horrible, if they busy they'll quit taking orders, asking you to come back in 20 minutes or so while socializing with their friends. Always ordered take out since service was lacking within so cannot comment on ambiance.

Ate here last night. It took the waitress about 20 minutes to greet me after I sat down. She was VERY slow! I got the egg-rolls and they were REALLY GOOD, But the sweet/sour sauce lacked seasoning. Next, I ordered the pepper steak. Probably the WORST pepper steak I have ever eaten in a restaurant. It had NO seasoning whatsoever and Was very tough and dry. I couldn't finish it. I just paid my bill and LEFT!!
