WAY OVER PRICED! No wonder there are so many empty spaces available! For the price of any of their available units you could get a commercial retail space. Their largest available space is basically a glorified storage space. 1000 sf unit for 1600/mo? Are you nuts?! It's just a box with a large door and power. Ladi-frickin-da! It has no AC (not even a window unit), no sink, not even a crappy private shop bath. For that price you'd think there'd be a flowing champagne fountain or something. This business needs a reality check! If you're marketing to "Artists" you need to get on an Artist's level. Artists are looking for a place to work, not a second mortgage. Good freakin' luck. If you're looking for an artist studio, don't even bother with this place.

The art egg is such a cool studio space for local artists. It's a little dark and mysterious and there is art and "art in progress" everywhere. Artist can rent different size spaces throughout the building. I believe that events are also held here.

Unique building with an interesting mix of tenants. Non-profits, sculptors, painters, a distillery, a recording studio, a wine shop. Variety of spaces for differing needs.

I'm the Director of a small non-profit that made our home at "The Egg." It's perfect for our needs- when we were smaller in size and just starting out with a 1-person staff, we rented a small loft-like space upstairs with exposed brick and big bay windows. As we grew, so did our relationship with the building. We moved downstairs to a much bigger space where we now run a small "hang out" space for our youth members, a mini-computer lab, our office space/ desks, a quiet "chill" area, and all our programming. We love the location, the communal feel with the other residents in the building, and the fact that there is always something new & creative going on! We use the mini-kitchen downstairs frequently, have meetings in the afternoon in the garden, use the shared conference space for big art projects, and have hosted performance events in the upstairs gallery space. We love The Egg!

Great use of a historic building. The former American Beauty/Lubbock Frank produce warehouse has been transformed into a vibrant creative community.Interest use of space and intriguing mix of tenants including artists, photographers, nonprofits, set builders, musicians and even a distillery -I've had several friends through the years who have had studios there and it's an amazing place with some tenants there since before Katrina. And do like the vibe on the back loading dock with Studio 101 NOLA - especially during Essence you could hear great music -Great place, great people -and right across from Restaurant Depot
