Andy's Frozen Custard

Who orders a turtle split when it's 40 degrees outside and the wind is blowing like a freezer? We did. It was so delicious that we ate it in the parking lot before driving off. If you haven't tried one, I recommend that you do. Their custard is soooo good. Staff is super sweet too.

Decided to try out the new Frozen Custard place in Hammond. We've been twice now. I must admit, I've had the same thing twice. The Cookie Butter Crunch, which is frozen custard with Biscoff cookies mixed in. I will tell you that it is delicious. The husband has tried two other options. The first was Basically frozen custard with strawberries and caramel, which he didn't like very much at all. The second time, custard with butterscotch and waffle cones, which he liked. As for the sizes, a small amount s pretty small. It's like a kids cup. And the prices are a bit high. You'll notice on the menu that the price is listed in full for the small, and each up size only says add $1 and add $2. Which I think looks better than saying $7.29, $7.69 etc for Medium. Then $8.69 etc for a large. It's pretty smart marketing I'd imagine. But if you're taking a nice sized family out for a treat, just be warned of the prices. The service is pretty good and has been pretty fast, but only one person has been ahead of us in line each time. There are a few benches outside for seating, but no inside seating. All in all, it's a nice desert.
